    Hakuna had recently finished reading the novel Bridge to Terabithia, having imagined that it would be an adventure book instead of one that involved all the icky gooey feelings love entailed; nonetheless, he was inspired by the words like he usually was. The lion cub now was centered in the camp clearing with a bunch of flowers around him. He had made sure to get chocolates and other things as well, with some necklaces he had made for anyone that wanted them. The lion cub was going to announce his crush.
    It was going to happen.
    The moment everyone had been waiting for.
    "Guys, I have an announcement!"
    All he had to do now was sit back and wait 'cause this was gonna get real interesting.

    Was this...? A fatherly sort of protective instinct made Arcade sit off to the side for this one, watching the proceedings quite carefully. While his own love life had never gone smoothly, he hoped Hakuna would get the happily ever after he deserved.

When the magazine war would end was unknown, but he was determined to win. Toris gave him a definite advantage too, since they obviously learned a few things from that nasty thing. Speaking of which, he wondered if they had even burned it yet, hehe. Once a decent amount of people had gathered, he cleared his throat and announced happily,"I love you all! -- so these flowers and chocolates are for all of you. You can have a bracelet or necklace too!" Heh, he did not realize that he was being such a troll at the moment. His modest and naïve opinion on the matter was of complete innocence.

    The word put a bitter taste in Camisado's mouth, making him want to cringe. How he hated that word. It brought back memories that he didn't want to even think about. The japanese bobtail swallowed and padded over, looking at Hakuna with rather tired eyes and a frown on his face. He was cute he had to admit. He quickly wrote into the dirt.

    Hm? Some announcement she guessed. Climbign down the tree she had sat in not very gracefully, she would walk over to the brackets and slip one on over her own. "Thanks Hakuna!" Wait what? Did arty just say Hakuna was cute out of the blue? Uhm why? Did she like him or something? Meh guess she would find out with Hakuna's reaction. Carefully she would yoink a piece of chocolate and pop it in to her mouth backing away a bit.

    The tabby kitten giggled at Hakuna's playful comment towards Feliks, growing more anxious to see who this crush might be. Perhaps Midnight? Sweetophelia? What he wasn't expecting to hear was an announcement from the deputy, claiming he was in love with the whole clan. At the reactions of everyone else, Kingdomkit couldn't help laughing. "Thank you, Haku!" purred the long-haired feline, smiling widely as he selected a square of chocolate to try. He'd already been working on a garden, so he didn't need flowers. However, he hadn't tried chocolate before, so this would be good! He took a nibble off of it, letting the sweet cocoa flavor wash over his tongue. Letting out a hum of appreciation, his golden optics widened in surprise as a caramel flavor also melted out of the chocolate, making his tongue sing with delight. Oh, that was fantastic! Purrs came from the scarf-wearing child, thoroughly appreciating the gift that is chocolate.

    "of course, arcy! anything for you." hakuna piped up cheerfully, glad to see that he was enjoying his little announcement. little did he know that he was really just laughing at how naïve he was being towards all those that really did have feelings for him. he was totally clueless in that matter. the only way he would ever start dating anyone in his current state is he someone happened to corner him, force him to have no way of escaping, and then sit him down to explain to him what it all meant -- thus proceeding to ask him out in the process. either that or he would run away in fear of getting that emotionally attached to someone, or just blush till he turned entirely red and blew up.


    did she just call him cute? the lion cub blinked in a bashful manner for a few seconds to take in the reality of what she just stated aloud. him. the hakuna master? cute? that was preposterous. completely out of the picture. nope. a hakuna master had to be fierce. cute was not going to scare their enemies away. he stood up a little taller to make himself look less cute in his mind, raising a paw to hesitantly feel the "c" carved around his eye.


    he was thankful for the change of subject brought on by mid and med, glad to see they were present as well. "no problem, guys! you guys are great!" of course, hakuna still believed that medusa just loved him in the friend way, and he did not understand how or why people would love him anymore than that. he was a complete goof. a kit at heart truly. handsome, but not quite realizing it, and never choosing to be fully "groomed" as one would say. boyish nerdy hakuna. when kingdom made his way over too, he cast his awesome race car buddy an ecstatic grin. "no, thank youuu, kingdom, for being totally amazing!"

She knew he was a bit insecure about his lips but Arty thinks that it's his heart that matters. She placed the flower crown on his head, adjusted it before smiling widely. "There you go!     Hakuna blushed slightly when the flowercrown was placed upon his cranium. How fabulous he now looked. He always had to be runway ready obviously. He dipped his head thankfully to Arty for the gesture, allowing a faint grin to lighten up his features at her kind words. "A peacock? My brother had a peacock tail!" that brought back memories. hah, he was so surprised to find his brother lookin' like some strange bird malfunction one morning.
    Oh, if only Brokenpaw knew that Hakuna would literally go on a rant for thirty minutes to coming up with things he could use to say he loved him just as much as anyone else. There are three words in Greek used to describe love -- agape, philia, and eros. Agape was the selfless love for everyone around you. Philia is used to describe the friendship among friends, which is the type of love he was describing. And then, the kind that he was never hoping to explore, eros . . . the love shared among romantic partners. "You are all very welcome! You guys mean so much to me. Don't ever stop being yourself, 'cause that would not be good."
