tips for new boards??

For example, wars, ally events, gift baskets, etc.
    Have clan wide plots in line. Of course, allow the clan a small break between plots, but it's always a nice magnet for joiners.
    Keep it unique. You should always have some odd quirk that makes your clan stand out.
    Mass Adoptions. Mass adoptions are one way to bring in joiners, though sometimes it can be hard to keep them active.
    Make sure the community is friendly and welcoming. Otherwise people won't want to join.
    Try to have scheduled Meetings. Usually every other week works best, sometimes every week works best. Usually people are attracted to meetings with this time frame.
    Keep a few open threads up on the board. Usually in small groups people will have lots of private threads to strengthen character relationships and such. Don't let the board get flooded and make sure you toss in open threads if it does.
    Make sure your high positions are interacting with others, and not just other HP's. This has been a problem that I've seen before, so make sure you encourage interaction all around.


    That's all I can think of at the moment. What is the new clan? Maybe I'll go stalk around and join.

    - start it off with a good plot running to draw more people to it
    - make sure it's fun and exciting, as well as open to everyone and try to avoid cliques
