    luke thought about that for a mere second before he started smiling, finding that adorable. "well, if i could glow, i'm sure my brightness would be at the same levels of yours." he glanced over at the opening of the cave before moving away from rowena for a second, heading over to the boat to pull out the small list of supplies they had in there. he grabbed the blanket and started walking back quietly util he suddenly stumbled, a groan of agony coming from him as he clutched his head desperately.

    luke tried to respond, tried to tell her that something wasn't right, but instead he pulled away slightly before coughing up blood, almost choking on it in a way. he was struggling, the sounds coming from him letting her know that he definitely wasn't okay. there seemed to be too much blood to manage, and soon he was gasping for breath.

I said, my voice breaking as tears brimmed my eyes. I sniffled and looked down at him, knowing I was the only one that could heal him. I placed my hands on his stomach, squeezing my eyes shut. My hands began to glow as a bright light illuminating from my palms. I exhaled and pushed my body to heal his, my body beginning to shake. Soon, my nose began to bleed. Suddenly, the light in my palms diminished and I fell down beside him, my dark hair fanning around me as my bright eyes fluttered shut as I slipped unconscious.     luke spit the rest of the blood out of his mouth before he realized that rowena had passed out. he almost instantly panicked, quickly putting the blanket over her and pulling her into his arms, hoping desperately that she would be okay. he shouldn't pushed her away, forced her to move away from him. she had almost fainted with a little use of here powers earlier, it was insane she wasn't dead.

"i'm okay, i'm right here." he hugged her a little tighter, hoping that that would do the trick to distract her from whatever she had been thinking about, though obviously it was about him. he brushed back her crazy dark hair, looking straight into her bright eyes. "i'm okay, you saved me." he told her quietly as he rested his thumb against her cheek.

I smiled brightly and hugged him tightly, my arms wrapping around his neck. I buried my face in his neck, thankful that he was okay. "you saved me, i'll never be able to repay you." he closed his eyes in disbelief, feeling the sickness vanish completely from his body. he couldn't help but to smile, realizing that he could actually go back and see his mother, tell her that he was almost finished paying back the dues.

    luke shook his head at her nonsense, pulling away from her chilly body for a moment to grab the blanket before he wrapped it around her shoulders, making sure to tuck it in to ensure that she would be warm soon enough. he gently pushed her dark locks behind her ears, smiling as he was able to see her face again. "don't be ridiculous, of course i'm going to worry over you. you matter to me, rowena."
