Kurt looked surprised when Reno brought the magician inside. "Woah! Talk about dead man walking. Err... in this case, living I suppose."
Karmin followed in after him, closing the door. Couldn't they have one peaceful memory without somethingg weird happening? "Never mind that Kurt, get him a glass of water."

"And a blanket." Reno said, "should we call Vince?" Reno asked Karmin. Xereas was seeming to wake up, but he really didn't seem to understand where he was and was just laying there.
-
Karmin shook her head. "Not until we understand what's happening." she told Reno. "This may just be too much of a shock for the moment," she said, getting a blanket and coming back to Xereas.
"Hun, can you hear me? Do you know where you are?" she asked the shifter as she wrapped him up. -
"Who are you and why can't see out of my left eye?" He asked. He could see again. Xereas didn't seem to know who they were or who he was, "and what is THAT?" He asked as Cat was sitting on the little table from last night. She was staring at birds.
-
Karmin held his head to try and calm him. "Easy Xereas," she told the magician. "You can't see out of your eye because a long time ago you lost it trying to woo the girl you loved, Neeshka." she told him, concerned. "You remember her, right? And your brother Vince? And us," she said. "We're your friends."
-
"I don't even know who I am and you tell me all this." He said. He held the same expression as the Xereas, Karmin met in his happiest memory, "and who in the world is 'Neeshka'?" He asked. Cat came over and nuzzled Xereas's hand. He really did have no memory because he would have flinched away from the cat but now just stared.
-
Karmin looked sad. "You mean... you don't even remember your little girl?" she said. She wanted to cry. "Zala.... Zala wants her Apa, Xereas... surely...." she stopped. If he didn't remember the others, then he wouldn't remember his daughter either.
-
"I have a daughter?" He asked. The name had seemed familiar to him but that was it, "okay. Now we need to call Vince..." Reno told Karmin softly. Xereas looked between them with a sort of confusement as to how they knew him.
-
Karmin looked sad and nodded. "Alright call him." she agreed, looking away. She had hoped he would be the same person that he had left as.
-
"What? I haven't slept properly in two days." Vince huffed from where he stood behind the couch. He did look a bit tired. Xereas jumped when Vince Surrey appeared and the sleepy magician didn't seem to notice Xereas at the moment. Vince even noticed Cat more than Xereas, which Cat enjoyed because she was getting pet.
-
Xereas, say hello to you Brother Vince," Karmin said. "Who has apparently taken on popping in at the mention of his name, much like you did."
-
"You have a habit of getting into life or death situations." Vince said and looked at Xereas. They locked eyes for a moment before Vince looked away, "that's not my brother." Vince said, "this is a man with a mind so shattered it's practically dust." He said. Despite acting grumpy, he did look incredibly upset at the reappearence of Xereas, "just who ARE you people?" Xereas asked.
-
"He... It is true, he doesn't remember anything," Karmin commented. "But he collapsed on our back stairs. What were we suppose to do?"
-
Vince sighed, "I can 'fix' some of it." Vince said, "but I will need assistance." He said with a direct look at Karmin, "you were with him a lot, you can tell me what goes where for some of it." He said and Xereas frowned, "and... This is safe, right?" Reno asked, "mostly." Vince said. Reno and Xereas gave Vince a startled look while Vince remained neutral.
-
Karmin frowned. "For some of it. I suppose," she said. "But... wouldn't Reno be better at it than me? He knew Xereas even before I moved to this town." She was a little hesitant to play around in Xereas' mind again.
-
"Break knew Xereas, but they didn't talk." Reno said, "come now, Love, it'll be fun." Vince said, "though we need to sedate him first." Vince said, "this will hurt him. A lot. It'd be better if he was asleep." Vince said and Xereas didn't seem to like that.
-
"How esxatly do you sedate a magician?" she asked, then thought. Xereas may not be a magician, now that he had no memories. Was he then considered human?
-
"Like this." Vince said and almost in an instant an empty plate from the table slammed into Xereas's head and shattered. Xereas collapsed against the couch and Reno blinked, "it would have been easier to use an actual sedative but he deserved that." Vince said, "are you ready to go?" Vince asked Karmin.
-
"I suppose," Karmin sighed and looked at the mess he had made. "Just, next time lets not break a plate over someone's head please? We developed a language of spoken words for a reason."
-
"Yes, but he was going to bolt." Vince said. The world shattered and Karmin found herself standing next to Vince in a world of grey and bits of dust in the air, "had to make it difficult." Vince sighed, "angels show no mercy when it comes to revival." He said, "alright, each bit of dist shows a bit of a memory. Piece as many as YOU know together. If it looks wrong... Your going to mess up his personality." He said. No pressure.
