Journey: Starbound [The Reboot!]
For many years, pokémon and humans had lived in harmony, living happy lives together, supporting one another and building a society in which both sides lived in peace. Humans and pokémon have been together for centuries. Then not too long ago, humans began getting into technological related experiments. One that was the most reviewed was DNA splicing. The human government supported the idea, though they were being controlled by Team Rocket which had rose to economical power over the years. Keeping this from the public eye was important to do so, they kept their experimentations quiet while they worked underground. In many laboratories, pokemon and kidnapped people were submitted to inhumane testing and conditions. Many of the test experimantations failed so they promptly dismissed them, silencing them forever. Many of this new breed, called PokéHumans either went insane or died unfortunately due to the extreme testing conditions and environments they were put under.
The government stepped in at that point once they realized what horrible conditions they were being put under and immediately tried to shut down the project. Team Rocket refused. With their PokéHuman army, they turned them on the government and civilians and a war overtook the pokémon world. Civilizations crumbled, towns and cities were lost, all comfort of electronics were lost as the world turned back to the Darkness. Finally the war ended with a bitter outcome, the government had used up all its resources as well as running low on the people they could use to fight back so they lost to Team Rocket, and with the darkness of the world all hope was lost.
Then a new chapter began, the PokéHumans turned on Team Rocket, while others stayed on their creator's side. Now with the broken down government and civilians as well as rebel PokéHumans calling themselves the Resistance and the large expanse of Team Rocket and their loyal PokéHumans the world is about to wage another battle and the winner will decide everyone's fate.
As this new chapter unfolds, who will you chose? What side will you be on? And what adventures will you be taking upon this new journey and who knows, maybe the fates reach beyond the stars...
