    Jay looked back at the girl in the shack. "You didn't seem too confident in yourself when I pointed a gun at you. Survival rate increases when you have someone at your back. Would you rather have a gun by your side or pointed at your head?" He said, not moving, but rather staying perfectly calm and still.

    Erin bit her lip, glaring at each as they spoke and saying nothing. Finally, as her eyes rest on the boy, she could've sworn she tasted blood. "Just go away." Her voice became no more than a low whisper, and she slammed the door shut behind her as she went inside. Darkness met her, aside from the few cracks in the roof and walls.

He'd help her whether she wanted it or not. Jay pulled out his revolver and kept an eye out for any zombies coming towards him. "I guess not. You should follow her. I'm going to stay here."
