Moth laughed."Well alright then. Deal." She smiled at Kestrelpaw. "Tell me a lil about yourself then."

she turned back towards Moth."got kicked out of clan,no mum or dad,watched siblings get killed,almost got killed twice.you know the horrible life."she mewed steadily looking at Moth.

"I feel your pain." Moth sighed. "Wilyfang and I lost our mother to thunder clan that day scarred me for a kit so young back then..."

"did your father happen to kill your mum and siblings?"she growled thinking about her dad.

Moth looked away, out to the forest. "Our father was never around..." she finally said. "No name, don't know what he looked like-nothing..."

kestrelpaw opened her mouth to say 'least you didnt have mine' but shut it.she laid her chin down on her paws and sighed.

"I can imagine what you're thinking." She meowed. "But you have to see it from the perspective that my mother hunted, protected, taught and had to love for three kits by herself."

"Three?"she mewed.

"Yes." She smiled. "Me, Wilyfang, and our brother Craig. He died trying to avenge our mother. He carried that hate through kithood and on through out the seasons until he died in battle against a thunder clan warrior. After he died I couldn't take all the needless bloodshed anymore so I found nofurs and well, here I am."

"yes here you are watching me when i can take care of myself."she said sarcastically."did wilyfang tell you where he went or when hes coming back?"

"He said he need me." Moth purred. "So I didn't ask where he was going, he said he will be back and I trust him so, here I wait with you."

"fabulous."she replied then stood up and stretched."im going out to hunt do you want something?"she said padding out of the hollow and onto the branch.

"That would be lovely." Moth purred. "But, I am quite capable of hunting for myself. Ill come with you."

she laughed."i can protect myself when i hunt you stay in my den."with that she jumped down the branches and padded off to hunt.

Moth sighed. "Its not about protecting you..."she mumbled as she watched from above.

Kestrelpaw padded noisily around the bushes to show moth she was still nearby then sneaked off deeper into the woods.Her black pelt made it easy to stalk prey.She caught three mice and a vole.Kestrelpaw opened her mouth Fox!she hid under a bush and crept towards the scent.
