His voice lacked its usual whimsical tone, the falsetto ringing of his generally pleasant vocals had been dampened with recent events but he tried. Stars did he try to put on a brave front and hold it together. It was a strained smile on his lips but he felt it was good enough. An attempt was made. Maybe in time he'd feel less of an ache in his chest.

One-shot contest! There are multiple themes you can explore to complete this contest but instead of making a single one-shot and submitting you you also have to respond to the one-shots of others.
You are required to respond to a single one-shot matching length as best you can in order to submit your own.
Additional points can be earned for responding to more, but only the first is needed.
3 Point = Responding to a one-shot + writing a one-shot.
1 Point = For every additional one-shot response after that.
2 Points = For every additional one-shot after that.
The threads must be open threads so others can respond, they won't count if you close them off!
Things of note:
*additional prizes (such as semi/HP positions) may be added with Jumpy's approval.
** you do not have to match exact length for one-shots, but at least make the attempt! Develop your characters and have fun!
Prizes will be 50,000k for your first submission/response and an additional 20,000 for every response after (that semi-matches length) and 30,000k for every one-shot thereafter.
