    "Wait a minute. what about Dew? i guess stonefire could take care of him. We shouldn't be gone long."


    ooc: my friend is gonna play a cat for now, and i can do the other one i guess..

    Honeywing was pacing the camp, searching for something to do.

    Splashheart exited the den and padded up to Honeywing. "Honeywing, you are coming with Wavestar, Bramblefoot and I to Thunderclan. We want to speak with them."

    "Yes." Splashheart mewed. "we need you to take care of Dew while we're gone."



    Ooc: we can just say they left and then they come back later. Tidemoon is about to return so when she gets there she'll check on Dew and then they can come back I guess

    Tidemoons eyes flashed back and forth, looking for the red berry that should never be fed to a cat. She spotted the deathberry bush and picked a few gingerly with her teeth. She remembered starclan's orders perfectly. "You must feed deathberries to Dew. You MUST kill him." she mumbled the words of Skytail, their former medicine cat. Tidemoons breath started shaking as she remembered the second part that starclan told her. "after you have killed Dew, you must kill yourself. You may never return, so spend your last day wisely." if this is what starclan wanted, this is what she must do. She padded into camp, the deathberries rapped in a leaf in her mouth. She spotted a Wavestar splashheart honeywing and bramblefoot talking. She sneaked into the medicine den. "hello stonefire. Thank you for watching dew. Why don't you go hunting now? Im sure you would be able to catch all the animals in the forest!" stonefire nodded and went off to hunt. "Dew? I need you to-to eat these berries" She mewed shakily.

    Appleshadow starred into the medcine cat den and murmed"That's my kin in there but, how did he the the safety of the twolegs he was to stay there." Whitebloosem tryed to look in but, was to far away she knew her sister's kit was in there.

    Dew sniffed the berries and scrunched up his face. "they smell really bad.." he admitted. "Well i guess since your the medicine cat.." Dew bent his head and licked up to of the berries. They were sour. Suddenly he started shaking, the den getting dark. "wh-whats hap-" he started to say, but his mouth started foaming. He couldn't see anymore and it was getting hard to breathe. Dew stopped shaking, and he could no longer hear his heartbeat in his ears. He let his eyes close as he went into a dizzying darkness.

    Tidemoon watched in horror as the deathberries slowly killed Dew. "im so sorry..." she murmered. She needed a place to put Dew. Should she make it look like a cat got into the medicine den and killed them both? that seemed like the best situation. She poked her head out of the den to make sure no one was watching. She saw splashheart look over, so she acted normal and padded to the freshkill pile, grabbed a mouse and headed back to the den, nodding to splashheart. Once inside, she put the mouse towards the entrance, and scratched a claw down Dew's neck, then mashed up some deathberries to look like blood. She saved two for herself. She took her last breath, sliced her own neck, and licked up the berries. Now to sell the fake murder. right before she felt the foam rise in her throat, she yowled as loud as she could then threw a stone into the bushes to make it look like a cat ran in that direction. she flopped on her side, and let her eyes close, now seeing the blackness of death.

    WaveStar bolted to the sound of the yowling. Seeing Dew laying there with Tidemoon, dead. "Oh no, oh my gosh!" She then layer down and broke down... she wasn't a good leader... she wasn't good enough for her clan, she thought. Why! Why... AppleShadow! She yowled and raged a little.

    Splashheart ran to the medicine den and stopped in her tracks at the sight of Tidemoon, their only medicine cat, and Dew, dead. She looked at Wavestar laying down. "Wavestar! what happened??" she padded over to Tidemoon and examined her. She saw the gash in her throat and the blood everywhere. Dew had the same gash. "Murder!" she gasped. "Appleshadow! this means that... Stonefire has to be the medicine cat." she mewed sadly.

    Tidemoon opened her eyes and saw a forest. Starclan! She looked around and saw Dew. "Dew! over here!" Dew only glared at her. "Dew you don't understand! i had to kill you! Starclan ordered me! You can still go back! you can live without a broken leg, and without me... i can't go back. only you can.. that is the commitment i made when i killed myself as well. i had to do what was the best for Waveclan.." she explained. Dew's glare softened, and he padded over to her. "Dew. You must go back. you are the only one that can save the clan. Once you go back, i can heal your leg from here, faster than you can say 'mouse'. Will you go back?" Dew thought about it, and nodded. "Now you have to tell the clan what happened. explain to Wavestar that Stonefire will become the new medicine cat. now i will send you back." Tidemoon barely mewed without breaking down. As a tear slid down her cheek, she touched noses with Dew, and sent him back to the medicine den, whispering "goodbye, Bravepaw."

    Dew gasped as his heart started beating again. The vision of Tidemoon faded away, and he saw the roof of the medicine den. He slowly looked over and saw Tidmoon's limp body. Tears ran down his cheek. he had never seen a cat die, especially one who cared for him so much. he tried lifting his head, but he was weak.

    "Dew should not be in the forest he should be with the twolegs where you left him." Whitblossem meowed, "Yah and know they we are going to fight but, starclan knows that I saved him from death." Appleshadow murred.

    Dew saw Wavestar. "I... It was Tidemoon..! She killed me, and herself, So I could heal and save the clan from appleshadow.

    Dew looked at Tidemoons body. "shouldn't we have a proper burial for Tidemoon first?" dew mewed. "I promise I'll start training, but I can't train knowing the cat who gave her life for me hasnt been properly buried."
