  • [glow=red,2,300]"Red I wonder if this is the work of you know." Jason said hinting towards the cloud. "We came here to heal Red's Pokemon and personally I felt something calling me here." Jason said with honesty in his voice. He looked at champions wound however and grimace a little. "Did you put anything to keep that from getting infected?" He asked as he started walking over. Eva looking restlessly on his shoulder. Jason wondered what all they have done to help the champion. If only he had brought a Pokemon knowing heal pulse.

IC: Red followed behind him, looking at the wounded Champion. "It's possible." He said, replying to Jason. "But could they- or it- come in dreams, though?" He wondered out loud, then looked at his Pikachu. Pikachu sat on his shoulder, looking at the Champion, then at Bibarel. Pikachu flicked his tail and jumped down from his partner's shoulder, then padded to the side of the bed and looked up at the Bibarel. "Pika?" He tilted his head slightly, asking the Pokemon if she was alright. Of course, she wasn't, but he wanted to comfort her in some way, to tell her that it's gonna be fine.

  • Slaven shook her head, letting out a pitiful moan, as she rested her head on her trainer's leg. Sure, he hadn't brought her out very often anymore, but he did let her live at his home whenever he wasn't off traveling. He'd play with her and regale her with tales of his adventures that she didn't get to witness. And whenever he brought her out when he was traveling, either to battle or to clear the way, he always seemed so proud of her, so endearing of her and her ability. So, it hurt, like a blade to the heart, to see her trainer having fallen from grace so far, and landing so near to the endless plain of oblivion called death.

Inside the tumultuous mind of Travis, a familiar, yet unfamiliar scene played out before him. An army of darkness, far away, but still visible, sprinted towards him, careening as fast as their shadowy legs could carry them towards him. He didn't know why, but it reminded him of sometime long ago. A flash of a memory appeared to him. Yes, he had done this exact thing nearly 5 months ago. He'd fought the darkness, the guilt within his heart when he'd first become possessed.

    And he'd lost.

The revelation hit him like a freight train, and his heart skipped a beat, making the machine visible to the pair of Champions spaz out of control, for a second, making it seem as if his heart had suddenly been hit with a thousand volts of electricity. However, before he could worry himself to death, he felt a cold, yet comforting hand upon his shoulder. He glanced at it, confused to see a dark caramel hand, the same colour as him, resting on his shoulder. It had black nails, lined with gold, and a small red triangle in each nail. He recognized that insignia. Hope filled him, as he turned to face the Lady of Fate as she always appeared to him in his mind and dreams. Bowing deeply, despite the peril he was in, he addressed her formally.

"Lady Beelzebub- er, Giratina. What an honor!" He couldn't hold it together though, and leapt to his feet, holding her hands in his own. "You don't know just how relieved I am to see a familiar face! So much has happened I-I don't know what to think!"

The legendary Pokemon-turned-human simply smiled softly, nodding in understanding. "Yes, I can tell. For so long, my child, you have slept. I felt so lonely without my kingpin in this world, I nearly woke you myself. Alas, my fear for your soul's safety stopped me. Still, I cannot converse with you long." She looked past him, forcing Travis to face the mob of darkness, which by now, was close enough for him to tell were but faceless shadows with spots of light on their bodies here and there. "Your guilt. Shoved down into the blackest part of your heart, has reared its obscene, disgusting head. Like Ouroboros, who released me from my seal, thinking I'd help them destroy this region, it has many heads. We've tried once before to purge it, but whenever we cut off one head, it simply grows more." Lady Giratina shook her head, clearly bemused. "Instead, it appears that you, my dear, are unable to be rid of this pain on your own. It is what's kept you from awakening, and completing your new duty as Soul Bounder." She gave him a soft smile, and rested a hand upon his chest, right above his beating heart, making Travis's skin a little bit more like warm clay. "Ghost Pokemon always seem to bring out the worst in people, it seem. Still, our time to chat has come to an end, my Emissary. I will revive you, wake you from your coma. Alas, to do so would require I bind our life forces together, at least a small bit."

As she said this, one of her six ghostly tendrils snaked its way down her arm, and into Travis's heart, making him gasp in surprise. It was cold, like her touch, but it almost felt... normal. Like this was supposed to happen. Lady Giratina smiled, nodding.

"I knew I chose you for a reason. Your body not only accepted my life force, it ready absorbed it with no qualms at all about our differences. You and I were meant to change this world, Travis." She sighed, clearly unhappy with having to pull away from her Emissary. "But, now you must return to the world of the living. And do not worry about this guilt." She gave him a coy wink, as she turned to face the approaching army of darkness. "We'll be rid of them at the end of the hour. Now, go. Seek out your Pokemon, and find my body. Together, we will unravel the cloth of darkness that cloaks our world, and send the Chaos Cloud back to the hell in which they were consummated in. Good luck."

Slaven gasped, and leapt back from her trainer, as the machine next to him let out a pitiful whine, and the line of his heart went still. She almost burst into tears, before it started up again, this time much more regular. In moments, the sheen of sweat disappeared from Travis's body, and his face lost the skewed, desperate, pained look it acquired, making it look calm, peaceful, and almost innocent and childish. While his skin stayed pale, he did, over all, look better.

He looked even better the next moment, as his chocolate eyes snapped open. He blinked once, twice, thrice.

"Anyone else hungry?" He rolled over in his bed, glancing at Slaven and the old lady, before his eyes traced themselves over to Red and Jason. "I could really go for, like, a hamburger, or something."

IC: The male blinked, staring at Travis. Hearing those words at this time, Red felt amused. It almost made him laugh.
    Almost.
He smiled slightly, then looked at his stomach when it growled. He was hungry too. But, of course, he needed to take care of his Pokemon first. He turned toward the door. "I'll be back, I'm gonna serch for some super potions or something." He spoke, then walked out of the room.

  • [glow=red,2,300]Jason could barely hold back a smile as he heard this champion's comment. Frankly he was still trying to get used to all of this. "Hey Red look for one of the healing machines. My mom taught me how to work them when I used to go to work with her when I was younger." Jason said before turning back to the other champion. "If it's okay with you do you mind telling me if your ace met any legendary Pokemon?" He first needed to ask. He still wanted to be sure he could trust this champion.

    [/glow]

  • Travis waved off Red, as his Bibarel hopped into his lap. He winced a little, his body still adjusting to the real world, but he didn't appear to have been in too much pain, as he swung his legs around, so he was sitting on the edge of his bed, stroking his Pokemon's head. He gave Jason a questioning look.

"Ace...? Met a legend...?" A shadow crossed over his face, as he tried to remember who his ace Pokemon was. Oh yeah. It was Happyfeet. Wow... the fact he needed to remember that... disturbed him, for lack of a better word. He glance back up at Jason, a bit of a curious look on his face.

"Well, yeah. Happyfeet and I did meet a Legendary. As a matter of fact," He got to his feet, Slaven hopping off of his lap helped with the process, since his muscles were still recovering. He steadied himself on the wall for a moment, a sheen of sweat rolling over his face, before his energy returned. "...*ahem*. As a matter of fact, it's because of the legendary we met that I'm still alive..." He glanced back at Jason, as the chocolate irises of his eyes turned coal coloured, and an oval of gold laced their way around them, though Travis was unaware this was happening.

"You see, since I saved the legendary Pokemon of Fate, Giratina, or Beelzebub, as I call her, she made me her Emissary to this world." A proud look crossed his face as he slammed a fist on his chest. "I spread the good word of Giratina, expand her influence, and show people that she's not an evil being that was locked away for evil deeds, but simply a misunderstood God Pokemon that keeps this world in balance." He stumbled a bit, his energy failing him. Slaven was right there, though, and helped to steady him.

"Yeah... so that's that. I just wish I got better powers than always being in the right place at the right time..." Travis muttered, as he got to his full height, which was still a whole head shorter than Jason. "So, about that hamburger..."

  • [glow=red,2,300]"Good than I know me and Red can trust you." Jason started to say with a soft smile forming. "I'm the guardian of Kyurem who like Giritina was always considered a monster. I can tell you that he isn't." Jason continued speaking as he took out Kyurem's Luxury Ball. He just looked at the ball however and didn't dare risk releasing him at the moment. "Red and I have been sent by Arceus to find you and the other guardians of the legendaries. He gave me and Red an ability to soul bond with our pokemon." Jason aaid as he waited for either Red or Travis. Though when he did hear the comment about hamburgers he could only sigh. "Sorry man but I don't just carry Hamburgers on me."

    [/glow]

  • "Aww." Travis sighed, shaking his head. "It's fine though. Not like I actually thought you'd be carrying one around with you." He reached for a Pokeball that wasn't there, then remembered what the computer said. "Hmm. Looks like I gotta grab your Pokeball, Slaven. C'mon, let's go." He patted the Bibarel on the head, waved goodbye to the old woman that'd taken care of him, then strode off down the hall, back towards the main part of the Pokecenter.

"Still, I wonder just how bad everything's gotten, if people like the guy who attacked me just roam the streets like it's no big deal..." Travis thought to himself, clearly uncomfortable with the thought of such criminals tromping through his region. "Oh well..." Travis looked to his right, as the white light of the sun trickled in through the grimy Pokemon Center windows. While the circle of light was large, it only encompassed the town. The routes surrounding Celestic Town were still bathed in blackness, and he doubted much of anything was left in this mountainous areas. He honestly didn't even think dragon Pokemon like Garchomp could live in these conditions, much less the regular fare of Pokemon like Floatzel and Bibarel. Travis felt a paw on his leg, and glanced down at Slaven, who still wore that same concerned look for him. He chuckled, and rubbed her forehead, before looking back ahead.

"Well, there's nothing right now I can do to change the situation..." Travis seemed to have an idea on his mind, as he entered the main hub of the Pokemon Center. "But, I have an idea of who I need to talk to in order to figure this stuff out." Travis approached the PC, and logged in. He'd need a new team. His old one was gone, but that didn't mean he was out of the fight. As he scanned names and Pokemon in his box, he selected five more members for his cause.

"Alright then. Beta Team," He glanced at the Pokeballs in his hands, and Slaven at his side, "it's time we take the fight to the clouds, and shove the demons that plague us back into the bowels of hell. No turning back, no giving up, and sure as hell no way we're bowing down."

  • ((Well, seeing as how you're from Sinnoh, or, your characters are, you could start yourself off anywhere in Sinnoh, minus the Pokemon League since neither of your Trainer's are the Champion nor E4 members. Just make a post introducing your characters and we'll all see where things lead! :D ))

IC: Red heard Jason before walking out. He nodded to himself, and started walking down the hall, searching in the rooms for a healing machine. As he walked into one of the rooms, he heard padding behind him. He looked behind him, standing in the doorway. The champion seen his little sidekick and smiled. "You wanna help me?" He asked in a low voice, and he mouse flicked his ear and nodded, smiling. Red held the door open and watched as Pika pad inside the room, then followed after him.

  • [glow=red,2,300]Jason started following Travis and Red before he noticed the two split up. He looked toward Eva and seemed ros hate a conversation with thier eyes as they walked over to one of the tables and sat down. He started wondering if this chaos cloud could sense where soul bonders were? If there were three in one location than it was quite possible that it could be heading here right now! "Hey guys whatever you have to do we better hurry. This is just a guess but what if the Chaos Cloud can locate Soul Bonders like how we all can? That would mean the more of us in one place the larger the chance of a Attack." He continued to say as he started patting Eva's head and walked towards one of the storage closets to grab a few bags of pokemon food while also making a few bowels for all of the pokemon. He released everyone he could except Kyurem for now so they could all enjoy the meal. He wondered if the others would do the same.
