    "Love you too". Felix closed his eyes yawning, becoming comfortable and safe.

    The sound of banging was heard, as it started low but then got harder as if something was struggling to get inside.

    I tebsed up and looked around. I pulled away from Felix. My eyes widened and my heart started pounding in my chest. I back away.

    Felix opened his eyes, seeming confused until he heard the banging. He looked around , but had a thought they were safe inside the building.

    I looked around and slowly moved o er to the window. I peered out. It was just a zombie banging on the door alrhoygh it didn't seem to be doing anything.

    Felix followed, looking out as well. "You'd think they have someway to stop them from getting to the door..". He mumbled, just looking at its face, seeing if he knew the zombie from before this happened.

    I stared at the zombie." I saw that they had some sort of watch tower on the building so I'm assuming they have a guard." I said. My eyes widened slightly. I backed away from the window, my gaze shifting down to the floor. I shook slightly, tears welling up in my eyes. I leaned against the wall and slid down it. I covered my mouth with my hand as I started crying quietly.

    Felix approached him slowly, looking at him expression full of worry. "Whats the matter..?" He asked kindly bending down to be at the same height almost to him.

    I closed my eyes and bowed my head. I waited a moment to try and calm myself, but I didn't see that happening."...That zombie is my brother." I whispered quietly." W-We got seperated before we started traveling together. I-I thought he would have still been alive but-" I trailed off and choked back a cry.

    Felix got up, moving back over to the window. He looked out at the grey sky not knowing what to say that would calm him down. "When the scientists get the cure fully ready.. Your brother will be human again" He said still looking out the window not knowing how true that sentence he had just spoken was.

    I sniffed and wiped at my eyes. I released a shuddering breath."...F-Felix, look at hkm. His f*cking chest is torn open. I-I don't want him cured just to have him doe again." I whisperd quietly. I stood up. I was shaking. I moved over to Felix and hugged him from behind. I buried my face in his back.

    Felix looked down, "I wish you hadn't been split from your brother, then neither of you would of been these mindless creatures." He rubbed his arm with his hand running it up to his shoulder feeling the bones. "I dont really wanna know what happened to Marzia. I should of been there to help her.."

    I opened my eyes. I gazed at him sympathetically."...You truly loved her didn't you?" I asked. I didn't sound angry. I didn't sound accusing. I just sounded worried and caring. Just like I always had been to Felix before all this started. We used to do a lot together. And now..Well we're stuck fighting for survival.

    Felix didn't answer, 'Just the thought of her becoming that, like you had makes me sick to my stomach" He ran his hand through his hair to fix it a bit and try to calm himself, there was nothing he could do now so he wouldn't force himself to become depressed from her.

    I sighed. I hugged him closer to me."...She'll be okay Felix." I whispered. I kissed his head softly." It'll take more then this to kill her." I said. I stared out the window, watching as my brother stumbled away. I felt a pain clench in my heart. "...At least we have each other." I whispered.

    For some reason, tears now ran down Felix's face and hit the floor underneath of them. He didn't know why but he had suddenly broken into tears. He wiped his face, having not knowing how bad everything was until just now at his realization to everything.
