    blizzardclan, and the exiles (maybe other clans too, i'm not sure) give them out to people who complete tasks. that could be something people work towards to help better the clan, and not just with activity

    I say that the current rankings are alright, though we could occasionally change the names of them if they aren't fitting, or add a few more, since flat out changing the whole thing is difficult, and we should also stay with a theme for a while. But I din't have any comments, so this is mostly a track.

    I don't think it's particularly wise to keep changing so quickly, because someone earlier mentioned that us changing so much pushes joiners away. Although I am not entirely opposed to the idea of the current changes in place, I also really enjoy the current ranks because a lot of us worked so hard on forming them.     Also, I am also not getting the whole Sun Climbers position too. I dislike the name (personally) and would rather it be a semi hp than a title. It's a better stepping stone than a title, and not what I had been saying before. What I had previous suggested was for a title to be made for newbies that are showing promise, not to merge it with the shp. :^)


    This wouldn't happen for a while, I just want to get something sorted out for when I do want to change them (i'll probably tie in a plot of some kind to make it fit more with the history of the clan so that they can return to their roots a little). I also wanted to have opinions so that I can see if you guys would want to see it happen or not.


    The only part of the ranking system I would want to change fairly quickly would be merging branch heads and branch high positions into two solid ranks (so it would be Runemaster, Spellcaster, branch heads, branch members or something similar). This is just so we can keep a closer eye on everything and it makes organisation so much easier <3



    Vanillatwilight is already dead, they're just waiting on the body to be dropped off (o3o) Leopard already planned out what was going to happen, so I was trying to sort out things to make the transition into leadership a little smoother. Here is the death thread and here is the thread showing that it was planned out.


    As for Sun Climbers, i'll make a poll on if you guys think it would be better to have a title or semi-high position. I can't think of any other ideas right now name wise, but it should fit in with Silverbloods and Sunguards.


    The semi-high position would work in the same way as the title, it would just mean more higher ranking members.

    for example, there could be a medal/badge/title given out for showing outstanding loyalty to the clan, another for bravery in battle, and another for contributing creative ideas. giving out medals/badges/titles would be solely based upon the judgement of the runemaster and/or branch heads.


    or they could be given out for more specific things. for example, there could be a badge/medal for hosting ex. number of events, one for participating in ex. number of raids, and one for making ex. number of open threads or something. i'd need more ideas.


    there could even be "levels" of the title you could earn.
    ex: to earn the bronze "badge name here" badge you'd have to host 5 events.
    to earn the silver "badge name here" badge you'd have to host 15 events.
    to earn the gold "badge name here badge you'd have to host 50 events.
    obviously, those are ridiculous numbers, i'm just using them as an example.


    by using badges, even non-hps could feel like they were contributing to the clan.
    hopefully that made sense
    so what do you guys think? have any ideas or suggestions for badges?

    What titles could we have? Sunguards would become a high position in place of branch members, so titles would be a blank slate <3
