She requested after she had asked about the price. Definitely the sweet treat was cheaper than the wine barrels, but still fairly expensive. The merchant, who was a serval with a fair face, reached under the stall for two jars and lifted to the stall with his masculine legs. Syrena, meanwhile, dug into her pouch to take out the silver coins, and counting them, she left them on the merchant's stall. Farewells were spoken, and she turned on her heels for the opposite direction to leave and that was when she bumped on the arrogant Atreides. Kratos. Gasping with surprise and the pulse of the action, she tried to ignore his cheesy mistake, but she would not tolerate his humor any longer. Saying that she would take the jars later or simply send someone to carry them back to the Vale later to the merchant, her pinky eyes traveled from his paws to his face with a judging manner. "You keep making mistakes, I am beginning to think you are doing this intentionally." Of course, he was doing that on purpose, but she did not want to storm out with rage. That was just not she was. Even when she was very angry, she would simply frown intensely like an innocent kitten. "Surprise to see you here, Kratos, what brought you here? Or are you just following me around?" Usually, her tone was away from being humorous but Kratos was only an exception. Besides, whenever the panther was around, she simply felt caged.

Kratos' eyes traveled over Syrena's visage, flickering behind her to get a notion of what she might have been doing before spotting her. Returning the ocean blue orbs back to the female, the edge of his lips twitched deeper into a smirk at her notion that perhaps he was doing this on purpose. As an answer, the silver hued male slung his shoulders upwards casually into a shrug. He turned his head, gaze purposely wandering about the beings streaming past him to create an allure of mystery.

"Perhaps it's just fate, Lady Syrena." He voiced, finally, looking at her again. "You do believe in fate, don't you?" He asked, head cocking to the side to further the question, generally curious. Kratos was always curious about things that seemed trivial to others, he loved to know things- if not for the purpose of obtaining more information than another. Of course, he only favored getting information about others, not giving it to them. It wasn't a very fair process, but then again, the demigod wasn't one for being fair. The male, himself, didn't necessarily believe in fate… at least, Kratos didn't think it had much of an effect on one's life than many often thought it did. But, true to his habits, he would withhold the information.
