"Dad's caught some prey back there. Let's eat."

He dipped his head to stare at the ground now. It's harder than he ever thought it would be, caring for kits. Excpecially by himself. He thought he would resent them becouse they killed their mother, but realized he was as much to blame as them. But he could still see her in their every action. He smiled sadly. He missed her.
