what program do you use to make text banners?

I'm asking, because I don't want to keep posting requests on the help den.

Oh, and how do you make text banners (with whatever program you use)?[/fancypost]

    PS CC.

I make them by using a text layer and then using the blending effects for glow, shadows, gradients, or anything else I'll be using.

  • If I'm feeling lazy, I'll just use fancyposts. *cries*

But if I somehow get off my lazy ass and do something, I'll use gimp because it's free and I'm too lazy to download anything else. I usually make the text, then use it as a mask over another layer, so that only the text shows through. Then on that "other layer" I just mentioned, I usually do a gradient or image or something. Finally, I copy and past the original text layer, put it behind the new text layer, and shift it slightly to the back left and color it black. Then I blur that layer to make a shadow.

I just add text layer and play around with gradients and stuff
