    birchperch spread ut across the rocky floor and sighed as sun hit his fur warmly.


    gryekit eyed him up then shot forward to tag him, a smile on his face. One grey paw was aimed at his shoulder

    Ooc: I wanted to enter Sunclan, and sorry I haven't posted in a while... Band competitions.

    Ooc that's okay :)


    Hailbird nodded and managed to get to her paws.


    Spiritstar paused and glanced around camp, "blazingtail, I need to speak to you." She mewed at him, "birchperch too, if you want."

    Darkkit looked at the smaller Tom moving out of the way for him to land on the ground besides him. He sighed rolling his amber eyes at his slower brother.


    Blazingtail looked at spiritstar and nodded his head motioning Birchperch to stay behind. The ginger looked at her "what's wrong?"

    but greykit had planned this and as he skidded he shot a back leg onto his brothers side and yelled "Tag!" before darting of laughing in glee.


    spiritstar padded over. "Hunger is beginning to set into the clan, and as the sun is leaving us the prey on the rocks are retreating to the forest again. Last winter we lost five kits, three elders and seven warriors." She explained, Birchperch blinked sadly at the mention of there previous den mates and their deaths, "I want to avoid that this year." She paused, glacing at the walls of rock surronding them, protecting them, "I want to claim some of the unclaimed for sunclan, secretly, so that we may hunt in the forest."


    (the unclaimed is the huge stretch of unclaimed forest that is between the river and the meadow. It is so expansive some say theres enough there for each clan to hold a decent portion yet not share any borders. However, it has become an unspoken rule due to the seasons war (that happened two generations ago) in which fighting over the unclaimed lasted for many generations and caused the death of many a kit, warriors and queen. Just as some background info :))

    "Spiritstar, I'll take a patrol to leave scent markers," he said.
    OOC~I weirdly want Driftbriar to hurt Porcelainsoul in this.

    ooc your cats, your choice dude. Also, yeah muse is low. Lets spice things up a tad;


    Spiritstar nodded, "Yes, you do that." She mewed to him approvingly, "Only take a small section enar our borders, but dont set strong scent marks. We dont want the claiming of the territory to be too sudden, or we could cause issues. Take who you like, but leave now, before things get worse... I hear sickness on the breeze." She added forbodingly. Just as she said this a growl came from the side of camp,


    "aaaaRGH!" a voice called loudly. Rowanpaw stumbled into camp, raging and yelling and chanting. He saw Horseleap and made a jump towards her, screaming. His teeth landed in her flesh and horseleap yelped in surprise and pain,


    "Rowanpaw!" she explained, shoving the apprentice of of her. Rowanpaw stumbled to the ground and convulsed a few times, foam at his mouth.


    "What in starclan..." Sparrowpelt murmured. Spiritstar turned to porcelainsoul,


    "Go now, quickly." She ordered severly, then yelled, "Everyone, get away from rowanpaw!" urgently to the clan.


    Hailbird and owlshadow made camp in the ravine below an old, hollow tree. Hailbird was breathing heavily, "There are shouts coming from camp...." She murmured in worry, "What do you think that is?"

    If one of you guys ever saw a kitty-pet kit in the forest, then just forget about it please, I'm coming from the unclaimed forest. Could one of you hunt in there and find me? That would be great! I'll try to get on more often if you do, otherwise I'm screwed.

    ooc of course good idea! Go to my gallery and you can see the unclaimed, its the forest surronding the meadow, anyway, yes porcelain souls patrol can find you there (There are no houses in the forest, maybe the mother decided she wanted to keep her kits and has been tryin to make it alone but cant so joins the clan?)

    Porcelainsoul then ran.
    "Forget it, there's no time!" he yelled before running off to the territory.
    The tom ran faster and faster until he found the territory.
    The tom's shiny fur was covered in mud and rain.
    In the shadows, he saw yellow eyes showing in through the darkness.
    "Hello, Porcelainsoul," the cat said in the bushes.
    The tom stepped back a bit.
    Driftbriar then strode out of the bushes, his yellow eyes looking devious.
    "Driftpaw . . . what happened to you," he asked him.
    "It's Driftbriar now. . . and I've been touched with a sense of reality," the wounded tom said as he brushed his tail
    against Porcelainsoul's chin.
    "Oh," Porcelainsoul said horrified of the tom.
    "You know, if you let me help. . . I can make you Porcelainstar," Driftbriar said.
    Porcelainsoul backed up a bit.
    "I can't do it, I know what you're planning," Porcelainsoul responded.
    Driftbriar then pinned down the deputy after a few swipes to the legs, but afterwards he didn't hurt him.
    "I can give you anything you please Porcelainsoul, a spot as leader, a respecting clan," Driftbriar paused, meeting him eye to eye.
    "Even a loving mate and kits, just let me guide you," he said, smiling to him.
    "No, stop it, I'm not doing your plan," he yowled.
    "Then I'll be forced to kill you, and your precious Paintedpaw," he said, chuckling.
    "Fine, I'll do it,what is it?" Porcelainsoul asked Driftbriar.
    "First, get close to Spiritstar like reeeeeeeeally close," he explained to Porcelainsoul.
    "Like, mates close?" he asked.
    "Exactly, let her think you love her wait, let her Know you love her," Driftbriar said.
    "Then tell her that there's a Moonclan cat on our borders when your love kits are apprentices, and dogs from this twolegplace I found will await her," he explained.
    "I've learned a lot from training Porcelainsoul," Driftbriar explained.
    "But I like Paintedpaw," Porcelainsoul said.
    "Too bad, now go back to spraying the place," Driftbriar said before he stalked off.


    Owlshadow was unsure.
    "I'll check it out," Owlshadow said before jumping out.
    "Stay here Hailbird," Owlshadow said to her before going to camp.

    Hailbird nodded, "okay..." She mewed quietly, tucking up under the tree.


    Sparrowpelt. Who had shot out after porcelain soul, now caught up. "Hey, why are you on the floor? Did you trip?" She gasped, tired from running, "boy your fast. Anyway, let's mark."

    Sparrowpelt nodded and marked the new borders, "not too strong" she reminded him, before pausing, "I thinks that's done." She announced, looking around at the chunk of unclaimed land they had claimed.



    Ooc Spiritstar sent some cats to claim the parts of the forest that are meant to be unclaimed for themselves before winter. Hailbird hurt herself and can't climb back up to camp so owlshadow is going to get help and in camp Rowanpaw charged at horseleap and bit into her shoulder wildly before falling down on the ground and spasaming, foam coming from his mouth. That's happening right now.


    Horseleap yowled, "why did you bite me!" She hissed, her wound starting to bleed

    Blazingtail looked at Rowanpaw moving in front of Birchperch so he couldn't go help the bitten cat. He looked over Spiritstar "Stay here and rub if Rowanpaw gets near you." He mewed mostly to his mate running towards the leader "you think she has rabies?"

    Ooc: I have an idea! What if there's a cabin in the woods and moon whent out to explore the woods around it, running into the patrol?


    Moon saw a flicker in the corner of her eye, she turned and saw a brilliant blue butterfly. Happily Moon swatted at it and gave chase, going even further in the deep woods...

    Ooc sounds good :)


    Sparrowpelt sniffed the air, "do you smell that, porcelainsoul? A cat... In the unclaimed.... Maybe the other clans had the same idea."


    Birchperch nodded in fear and coward down, fluffing up his grey and brown fur.


    Spiritstar nodded, looking horrified at horseleap. "And now she does, too..." She murmered, her eyes wide. Rowanpaw struggled on the ground for a few more moments till his eyes faded into death.
