Just like Appleshadow I told him we could never be together and that I already had a mate which Moonripple is your father, but he didn't he said he would kill you so I could have kits with him which are Anglefrost and Ripplefur but, I would let him kill you so I gave you to another queen so she could protect you and your bother but, then Appleshadow and some other cats came to fight thunderclan and kill you, your bother and father one of the cats got a hold of your bother lived but, your father died to save you he protects you now." Agatefoot meowed then licked Moonripple's ear.

Steelclaw looked at the she-cats.

Tears trickled down Moonripple's cheeks. The beautiful silver she-cat crouched down and sobbed.

Steelclaw eyed the she-cat and wondered why she was crying.

Agatefoot crouched down beside her and licked her check, "What's wrong?" She meowed.

Moonripple gazed at her mother. " So many deaths...my father, then Emberwhisker, and now Flameclaw..." she wiped away the tears. " You're right. Flameclaw chose his own fate. I-I just wish StarClan would forgive him."

"Moonripple its okay starclan understands and if your father hadn't died for you then how would you know I was your mother?" Agatefoot meowed then licked Moonripple once again, " Come on let's get back to camp so you can get some rest."

Steelclaw closed his eyes sighing.

Moonripple staggered up, her pelt brushing her mother's. She glanced at Steelclaw as she passed him.

"STEELCLAW where you spying on us and if you did why did you?!" Anglefrost meowed angrly.

Steelclaw blinked, "You two were chatting, it was no harm listening."

"Anglefrost you need to work on your anger! Steelclaw I'm sorry she yelled if it wasn't for her father she wouldn't act like this." Agatefoot meowed. Anglerfrost looked angry," HIS FAULT!? IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU HE WOULDN'T TRY TO KILL US ALL AND IF YOU THINK ITS HIS FALT THEN I WILL JOIN HIS SIDE." Then Anglefrost ran into the forest she had never been so mad.

Steelclaw blinked and said nothing.

Moonripple looked at her mother, then at Steelclaw. " Who is he?" she asked cautiously. Then, she gazed after Anglefrost, hoping she would calm down soon.

steelclaw coughed.

Moonripple padded a little closer to Steelclaw and sat down. " Who are you?" she repeated.

"Steelclaw," he murmured vaguely.

Moonripple frowned. " You're a very secretive cat. Are you ThunderClan?"

"Might, might not." he mumbled and stood up.

"MOONRIPPLE! Its Anglefrost she is gone!" Agatefoot meowed in a very worried meow.
