The Lord of the West {Private}

Soon they reached the Grand Hall. It appeared as if Ayame was there and Jahae. Soo-yun silently moved over to them, his mate cast him a tiny smile and moved closer to him than what was actually necessary. Little Jahae looked up at Kagura with a nervous smile on his face, it appeared as if he too was nervous about the situation with meeting the other Demon Lords. Soo-yun murmured quietly to Ayame, "Who is coming first?" The dog demoness tilted her head, "It seems as if the Demon Lord of the North is closer than the others right now." Soo-yun murmured, "I see." Ayame, who seemed to be ignoring Kagura finally seemed to acknowledge her presence by raising an eyebrow at her in question. However before anymore words could be exchanged, Soo-yun's gaze turned towards the entrance of the palace. The air seemed to shimmer and eventually three forms came into view. What seemed to be a middle-aged man was walking calmly forward, his narrowed eyes gleaming with mirth and his vibrant reddish hair was cropped at his shoulders. He seemed to bear a terrible scar across his left eye, and that was no all, he had a long reddish fox tail swaying behind him, and his swiveling fox ears seemed to be constantly twitching as if detecting different noises. Beside him, a slender woman was walking with grace and elegance, her green gaze seemed very warm and calm and there was a slight smile upon her face. She was exceedingly very curvy and her long black hair streamed down to her waist, she too has fox ears and a tail. And the last member that followed behind them was a young girl, appearing around 15 years of age, she resembled what seemed to be her mother. Her gaze however was the color of a setting sun, and she too had a fox tail and ears.

As they approached there was a noticeable change in Jahae as he blushed and dropped his gaze to the floor in a quick attempt to hide himself from clear view of blushing. It was clear the young kitsune that was walking alongside her parents was Rin, his crush. As the kitsunes stepped into the Grand Hall, Soo-yun stepped forward, a calm smile crossing his face, "Its been awhile Daisuke." The male kitsune let out a loud laugh as he approached Soo-yun, "You haven't seemed to have aged much Soo-yun! You still look the same from two hundred years ago! Life must be treating you well eh?" Soo-yun chuckled, "I see you haven't changed a bit." His gaze turned to the elegant woman standing beside Daisuke, "And I assume everything is well with you Kame?" The woman smiled affectionately at Soo-yun, "Of course." The young kitsune girl's gaze flickered from behind her parents and her gaze focused on Jahae and she smiled, waving at him in which the little dog demon blushed and waves back hastily before dropping his gaze quickly, his face turning a bright red in which the kitsune girl giggled in response.

However, the kitsune lord turned his attention towards Kagura, "What's this? I see you're still a little bit of a fanatic about humans still Soo-yun?" Soo-yun smiled good-naturedly at the kitsune, "Humans are interesting Daisuke."

Ayame stepped forward saying in a sweet tone to the guests, "Let me show you to the guest rooms. I'm certain that you need some rest after your journey here." Daisuke's attention turned from Kagura and back to Ayame as he grinned at her, "Of course." The dog demoness quietly led them away, however her golden gaze looked particularly smug as she had brushed past Soo-yun in a noticeable action of affection. She seemed to be rubbing her position in Kagura's face as she disappeared from sight with their first guests.

Shortly, two demons appeared. One seemed to be an Oni, with a wrinkled face and a feeble appearance and a horn protruding out of his forehead. The other appeared to be a tall demon with an aggressive atmosphere around him.. or so it seemed. Soo-yun greeted in a gentle tone, "Taidashi, Ryuu, I'm surprised you two travelled together here." The old Oni spoke first, "You know my feeble old bones can't travel as easily from the East to here, and Taidashi just happened to be going through my realm to get here." The taller demon muttered, "He was a pain to deal with... but we made it here." Soo-yun laughed slightly in amusement, "I see, I hope you-" His sentence was cut off by the older demon, Ryuu turning his attention on Kagura, "A human woman? A miko?" Soo-yun visibly tensed, "Ryuu-" The old demon laughed, "You finally gained a proper taste for women Soo-yun! What a lovely one!" Soo-yun seemed actually speechless for a few seconds and then proceedingly seemed to grow uncomfortable as the demon continued, "Mmm I see, just from here she has that perfect womanly figure. I truly have taught you well! And a miko at that! How scandelous of you my boy!" It was clear, the old one was a pervert.

The old demon seemed to take a step towards Kagura's direction, "You wouldn't mind me having a little feel for her Soo-yun?" Soo-yun stepped in front of him, "I'm sorry Ryuu, but Kagura is off limits." It seemed as if Soo-yun actually appeared a bit aggressive, maybe even possessive. Taking advantage of the distraction he said to Jahae, "Jahae, please, take our guests to their rooms." The little dog demon hurried forward at his father's tone and quickly guided the two away.

The dog demon let out a sigh, putting a hand to his head as if attempting to hold back a headache, "You don't have to thank me..." He muttered, "I'm going to have to keep an eye on Ryuu after all..." His eyes closed as he looked faintly frustrated, but he forced himself to relax and said in a calmer tone, "I'll walk you back to your room." It seemed as if the dog demon was still tense about Ryuu's failed attempt to get to her.

He had to smile a little bit, laughing despite his previous frustration, and he once again found himself staring at her face for a few seconds then looking away. He began walking back towards the direction of her room, yet he was well aware that he was alone with her... again. Just acknowledging the fact caused his heart to beat faster and his blood began to boil again. Just get her to her room then focus on the meetings... He chanted that sentences over and over in his head, and it seemed to be enough to calm himself down.

"At the most, they'll stay at least two days before returning back to their respective territories... there's been disputes that needs to be taken care of." He didn't say anything more, and he stopped when he reached her door.

He went completely still as she had kissed him on his cheek. It took every last bit of self control to not respond with rashness. Just that one time Soo-yun... He nodded his head, all emotion seemingly drained out of him, "I'm sure you wouldn't cause trouble either way." He stepped away from her and turned away, walking off.

The skin on her cheek tingled where she had kissed him. Although he was focusing on his task, he couldn't help but raise a hand to his cheek as he allowed himself for only a few moments for his thoughts to be about Kagura. He closed his eyes and shook his head impatiently, he had no time to think about his pet at the moment... or did he actually consider her just a simple pet anymore? Forcing himself to control his thoughts, he continued on his way going to fetch the demon lords to start the meeting which was why they were there in the first place.

The meeting proceeded throughout the whole day, well into the beginnings of night and Soo-yun was getting irritated. The demon lord of the South seemed to be arguing the most, since both he and Daisuke were clashing with ideals while Ryuu.. well was being just a pervert and leering at the demon maids that occasionally went in and out of the room. Soo-yun closes his eyes, raising his voice to a thunderous level causing all talking in the room to cease, "Enough!" The dog demon opened his eyes, seriousness coming to his face, "If there is a powerful demon going through out territories and controlling masses of humans, we should deal with it personally." Taidashi sneered, "Soo-yun, I think your heart has gone soft. Why even worry about the humans? Deal with the demon instead and take him out. Simple." Daisuke huffed, "I have to agree with the young one here Soo-yun, human lives had already been lost. But for this one problem, none of us can stand up to the demon in our current conditions. And even if we were, demon lives would be taken as well. I say that it wouldn't hurt to let a few human lives be lost, if not then we could risk a whole civilization of humans being destroyed." Soo-yun put a hand to his head, weighing his options, then finally he said, "Very well, as soon as this official meeting between us is over, I will personally deal with this... Ryutkotsu by myself." He gazed in cold eyes at the other demon lords, "Its getting late, I assume you all would want some rest." After that, the demon lords dispersed leaving Soo-yun with his own thoughts as he wandered the halls he found himself in front of Kagura's room. He hesitated as he gazed at the room, uncertain if he should bother her and he wasn't even sure why he came there in the first place.

As soon as Kagura had opened the door and had smiled at him, his heart had started racing uncontrollably. Calm down Soo-yun.. The dog demon replied in a calm tone, though his emotions were anything but calm, "I suppose I am a little bit..." He sighed, "Its... difficult getting everyone to agree on a certain issue."

He tried to protest, but seeing as she was already leading him into her room, he clearly had to option but to try and focus on anything else. However, the thought of a massage seemed since, yet the problem was it was Kagura going to give him a massage. He tried to keep his mind off of the thought and completely tried to keep his mind from lingering on the situation.

He watched her in silence and immediately began to control his thoughts as he sat down in front of her, his back to her. He found it... a little bit more easier to control his desires and temptations when he was not looking at her. However, it didn't help much.
