It just so happened to be one of those nights- the ones where she honestly couldn't get to sleep.
The kitten was poring over the small sheet of paper again, the one she usually had tucked away under her hat. Of course, she was aware that her efforts to commit the names to memory were in vain, but it never hurt to try. For all she knew, one day she could wake up, and she would actually remember what had happened the night before. It was a long shot, but she couldn't afford to give up hope.
In the meantime, Rorschachkit considered this her way of getting around the issue. It was a complicated, time-intensive way, but at least she had the means to fill in some of the blanks now, so she was making some progress.
Sighing, the kit tugged her hat closer with one paw, and rubbed her eyes with the other. "Guess it's late," she mumbled to herself, chuckling slightly. Eh, she'd hit the hay (figuratively; she'd already done so in a literal sense) in a few minutes. The list still lay in front of her, and she'd have to fold it up and put it back in her hat... just thinking about it was difficult now. Maybe sleep wasn't so far away after all.
