"Daddy, I'm fine!" Libby protested, sitting down stubbornly.
Rilth smiled and pounced on Hades.
Daisy just watched with a smile, "They're going to play, Hades, there's no stopping that."
"Daddy, I'm fine!" Libby protested, sitting down stubbornly.
Rilth smiled and pounced on Hades.
Daisy just watched with a smile, "They're going to play, Hades, there's no stopping that."
"I know," said Hades, somewhat to Daisy as well as to Libby. "You're tough, Libby." As Rilth pounced on him, he let out a surprised yip and tumbled to the ground, taking care not to fall on any of the other pups.
Seraphim gnawed on the protruding end of a chicken bone.
Daisy chuckled, then turned to Seraphim, "Sweetheart, just eat the chicken, okay?"
Rilth gave a loud cheer, "Yes! I have defeated the mighty wolf! No one can stop me now!"
Libby smirked, "You still have to go through me, genius!"
Hades lay limp on the ground, looking at Libby. "Avenge me, fellow wolf!" he yipped, stretching a paw out to her.
Seraphin snapped her teeth. "But I wanna be fierce..." she told her mother.
Daisy smiled, "You can be fierce when you're older. And you need to eat to become fierce."
Libby giggled, pouncing on top of her brother, "Aha!"
Rilth yelped in surprise as he and Libby collapsed, rolling around in a tussle.
Seeing as the pups were occupied, Hades got to his paws, shaking dirt from his coat. He padded over to Daisy, giving her an affectionate lick on the cheek, before his expression turned more serious.
"Oh," said Seraphim, tilting her head and considering this for a moment. "Okay!" She turned back to the chicken and began to eat in earnest.
Daisy smiled at the pups and their antics. She noticed Hades and tilted her head. Something was wrong. "Hades?"
The pups continued to tussle.
Hades turned to Daisy, and couldn't help a small smile from appearing on his face. His mate always seemed to know what he was feeling, or realize when something was the matter. "I don't know if you've noticed this too," he began, keeping his voice low so the pups wouldn't hear. "But lately, I've smelled some unfamiliar creatures a bit too close by. I- I think it's about time we move the pups."
Seraphim kept eating, unaware and unconcerned.
Daisy glanced at her children, taking a moment to breathe in their beauty and innocence, "You're probably right." she murmured. The former pet sighed, sitting down, "Do you think they're ready for it?"
Rilth stopped fighting, glancing at Seraphim eating her chicken. "Libby!" He hissed, nudging in their sister's direction.
Libby followed his gaze and smiled, giving a small nod.
Hades turned to watch their puppies too, thinking for a moment. "As ready as they'll ever be," he said finally.
Seraphim was too involved in her meal to notice anything, let alone that her brother and sister were planning something.
Daisy took a deep breath, "Alright. So, do we leave tomorrow?"
Libby and Rilth crept up behind Seraphim, quietly preparing their ambush.
Hades nodded. "That sounds good. There's a spot west of here, where Lorden and Vodka and the others were waiting before they left. It's not too far away from the city, but it's still out of the way of most other dogs."
Seraphim stripped a piece of chicken off of a bone.
All at once, Rilth and Libby pounced on Seraphim, letting out their battle cries.
Daisy noticed the pups and smiled, admiring the strength they were showing.
Hades smothered a laugh as he watched the pups carry out their attack plan.
"AAAAAHHHH!" Seraphim yelped as she was flattened to the ground. She snapped and growled at her attackers, her paws flailing.
Rilth and Libby laughed, taking Seraphim together.
Daisy rested her head on Hades, smiling, "Think they can make the trip?"
OOC: What about the pups played by the others? Should one of us take over for them?
IC: Hades touched his nose to her shoulder. "We'll help them along."
Seraphim squirmed and fought back, but found herself starting to laugh as well.
OOC: I don't know...maybe we'll just work with the ones that are active. I feel like everyone else died XD
The pups just ended up in a laughing fit, collapsing on the ground and unable to stop laughing, it was so funny.
"Alright, calm down." Daisy padded to her pups and nudged them gently, "That's enough, you guys."
OOC: Yeah, I was kind of going by that assumption, too! XD
IC: While Daisy separated the pups, Hades trotted over to the discarded chicken and began piecing it apart. While the pups could definitely eat solid food by now, it was a habit he hadn't quite gotten rid of yet.
Even after her brother and sister had released her, Seraphim remained flopped on the ground, trying to stifle her fit of giggles.
Libby couldn't stop giggling, "I'm sorry, Mama! But it was so funny!" She burst out laughing again, trying not to die of laughter.
Rilth laughed too, "Did you see Sera's face, though?"
"I saw it." Daisy answered, licking his fur back into place, "Now all of you need to get a grip. Your father is getting food ready."
Hades continued to pull apart the chicken, stifling a laugh as he listened to the conversation.
"I was already eating," Seraphim said to her mother, though her dignified tone was ruined by the fact that she was still giggling. "I'm gonna get you, Lib!" She whispered to her sister, who was closest.
