Henry couldn't help but examine the way that Katherine was treating her Pokémon once again. Though many thoughts ran through the blond male's head it only was a few seconds in reality. Why had she glared at her Mega Gyarados? Well, the reason itself was obvious. She was displeased with the way that he disobeyed her. But that wasn't any reason to shoot it a cold glare like the one that she had presented. Maybe if you were more nice to it, it would listen to you. He thought to himself, really wanting to say it out loud but again not wanting to take a risk. The messy relationship between the Gyarados and Katherine did work in his favor for this turn though for obvious reasons. No secondary attack to take damage on his Metagross. Though he was sure Trevor could take more than one hit from the Gyarados before fainting, it still gave him an extra free turn just in case. He was glad that the two colliding beams exploded in the middle rather than harming either of the Pokémon. Because he was starting to feel bad for the Pokémon on the other side. But either way he was going to need to win this battle, and there wasn't any time for feeling sorry for the other team. Afterwards, when he won, he'd give Katherine a piece of his mind. And if her Pokémon were still out, congratulation them on a good battle.

    Henry's eyes glanced over at the stadium in which some students were sitting and watching. He hadn't noticed them before, and he got a bit of a sinking feeling inside of him. He didn't like for his battles to be watched because then he got self conscious about what he was doing. Though the audience of few people seemed to be more concerned with Katherine, in a bit of a disgusted way. He could make the assumption that this meant a few cheers for his own side.

    "Nice! Okay Trevor, go for Bullet Punch this time." Henry said, giving some encouragement to his Pokémon as well as choosing a different move than which he had chosen before. "Meta!" Metagross replied, sounding aggressive and full of energy. It's four floating appendages started to glow with a bright white light that encased the entire arm. He shot towards the recharging Gyarados at fast speeds with his cry. He attempted to fly multiple punches at the opposing Pokémon. There was the possibility that Gyarados was going to dodge it, since even though he couldn't attack it could probably still move out of the way.

  • Alyssa watched as the flamethrower hit. It did normal damage for a flamethrower, and Alysaa said, "Shadow Ball!" Hm...I have a good feeling about Tianna. Maybe if she loses I can try to say that she won..., she thought. She had thought of lying to say a student defeated her, but never actually attempted it. Maybe she would now?

    Thanks to having a weakness to fighting, the Drain Punch would've been close to knocking him out. But of course it was a critical hit, causing the Gyarados to faint. Katherine looked like she could explode at any moment, and returned to to let her Lucario out. Unlike what many would think a Lucario would look like, this Lucario had a pink bow tied around her ear, causing Katherine to send a death glare at her, looking like she'd tear it out at any moment. Realizing she was out of her pokeball, she quickly unraveled it from her ear and tossed it behind her, looking...scared? The fighting type seemed to look scared, but it didn't seem like she was scared of the Metagross.

    "Wonderful, perfect!" He called, watching as his Metagross tried it's hardest as it threw the many bullet speed punches at the Gyarados. He let out a sigh of relief, allowing his tensed up shoulders to relax. He didn't know that she had taught her Gyarados a fighting type move, Drain Punch. But if he had known, he would've been very worried. As with Gyarados' attack stat that was already risen it was highly likely that it would've one hit K.O.-ed Trevor. He was very lucky that certain way of events had taken place. Trevor let out a triumphant cry, seemingly dancing back and forth in his Mega form. It's eyes were closed but showed a happy expression. He could hear the pride that echoed in his Trainers voice from behind and that was what made him feel the best.

    Henry knew what was coming up now, as Katherine had guaranteed the three Pokémon that she was going to send out in the course of the battle. He had a feeling that there was a certain reason Lucario was last. It was probably the strongest of her team, and he knew that this particular Pokémon was going to be the most difficult out of the three. Previously he thought it might by Gyarados, but since the order was switched so was his guesses. Reaching down he pulled the third Pokéball from his belt and held it out in front of him with an entirely outstretched arm. "I'm very proud of you Trevor. Return, so you can rest." He clicked the button in the middle of the ball and it opened at the equator. The red jagged light shot out and enveloped the Metagross, before sucking it in and closing with a light click. He returned the Pokéball to it's proper place.

    He took a few moments to examine the new Pokémon that Katherine. Not only was it a Lucario, but a female one. Admittedly Lucario usually had more of a masculine appearance, but the cute little pink bow that was tied around it's ear represented other wise. The excited and proud smile changed into one that was softer as he looked at the blue and black Pokémon. The smile itself faded all together though when the Lucario was quick to yank the pink bow out of her hair and throw it behind her. Henry slowly furrowed his eyebrows, seemingly confused. From the way that he viewed the Pokémon Katherine was being blocked and he couldn't see her. Thus, he couldn't witness the death glare that she shot towards her Fighting and Steel type Pokémon. "Why did you take that off, Lucario? You looked adorable." He gave a few chuckles, the light smile of his returning on his face. "You're probably trying to show your strength, aren't you? Well, I'll show you mine!" He said with a refreshment of enthusiasm. Being oblivious to the way Katherine was treating this one specifically, but he should've assumed in the first place that it had something to do with that. He just didn't want it to be true.

    Taking the very last Pokéball from his belt, he threw it in the same fashion that he had thrown the other two before him. "Go, Gallifrey!" As the Pokémon clicked open and the sound of the beam echoed throughout the stadium, it took the form of Delphox and revealed it. The Pokéball flew back to his hands and he caught it, returning it to it's spot. The Delphox let out it's usual cry, seeming very energized for the battle. This was the first female Pokémon that Henry had sent out. Gallifrey hopped from one foot to the other in some sort of energized dance. "Alright Gallifrey, this is our last opponent." He informed his Pokémon. Gallifrey let out a little noise of realization. This battle specifically was going to be very important. She was going to have to try her absolute hardest. "You can take down this Fighting and Steel type Pokémon!" He hinted to her, and she realized that she was effective against both of those types. Yay! "So let's start this off with an advantage." He began, flinging his arm out to point to the opposing Lucario. "Use Sunny Day!" He commanded. Delphox nodded, raising her arms into the air. The Sunlight suddenly became very harsh, blinding almost. Now raising the attack of fire type moves.

  • Lucario, after receiving his compliment, was extremely happy-too excited to some people. She was shocked by the sudden, harsh sunlight, but knew what her trainer would say. "Aura Sphere," she said, causing the Lucario to have a shocked look. Not only was Aura Sphere a fighting move, and Delphox was half psychic, and she knew Stone Edge! Worried about the consequences of not obeying, she formed her hands in a shape of a sphere and shot it at the Delphox, the attack being rather weak.

  • Tianna froze. "Pyro, look out!"

    The Mega Houndoom ignored her, taking the hit once again. He glared up at the Togekiss, panting heavily, seeing as he had only 24 HP left. He let out a loud howl, lashing his tail angrily. Of his own accord, he suddenly leaped forward, using yet another Flamethrower, seeing as it was his only move that could really damage the Togekiss. He very obviously did not like his opposer's Pokèmon, for whatever reason.

    Henry gave a happy chuckle when he saw how excited and happy that Lucario was when he had offered her the compliment. The one thing he thought was odd, or at least a connection that he made to make it seem odd, was the amount of happiness she was admitting. He would've figured that the Lucario would receive the same praise and attention from her trainer. At this thought his smile faded away once more and his hands slowly gravitated towards his hips. He had really hoped that Katherine wasn't this bad to her Pokémon, but it became only more and more obvious that she was. He had wanted it just to be her attitude towards other people, similar to himself. But it was like she was being emotionally abusive towards them. Was that the fear that sparked in the Lucario's eyes previously? It made sense. His heart sank again, feeling pity for her team. They must live a terrible life. He wished that he could make it better for them, but how?

    Since Gallifrey's eyes still had to adjust to the harsh sunlight that was created from her move, she didn't notice how quickly Lucario had made the Aura Sphere and shot the move at her. Once she could see clearly again it was already too late. The move slammed into her furry yellow and white chest. She waited a few moments, expecting something more, like a stronger sense of pain. But the move itself only made her skid backwards slightly. Her health had taken a little bit of damage of course, but it still was strongly in the green zone. She glanced back at her trainer, with a triumphant smile on her face. The Delphox was very excitable and would become extraordinarily happy at the smallest of things. Even though she knew she'd survive the move, it still felt good.

    Henry gave her a few encouraging nods, unaware that Katherine could've used a powerful rock type move against his Delphox. A type that she happened to be weak too. Gallifrey looked back to her opponent, one foot slightly back as to be in a fighting stance. Her stick wand was gripped tightly in her right hand, prepared for anything. "Alright, this should do some decent damage. Gallifrey, use Mystic Fire!" Henry had been debating between that move and Will-O-Wisp. He eventually made that decision because Mystic Fire was more powerful, even if Will-O-Wisp could burn the target. The Delphox obediently held up her wand, quickly moving it in a circular motion. A ring of fire was formed, and she thrashed both of her hands forward so that she could shoot it at the Lucario. She was aiming for it to engulf the other in flames.

  • Lucario made a run for it to dodge, and luckily she made it out. "Oh yeah. You have Stone Edge. Use that," she said boredly. Normally Katherine would be furious that she wasn't winning, but in her eyes Lucario was the weakest and most worthless pokemon on the team. The fighting type smiled as she used Stone Edge, turning to Katherine to see if she was watching, but her smile faded as she saw she's seemed more interested in the people spectating the battle instead of the actual battle. I wonder if she even knows that I have my hidden ability..., she thought. She had Justified-her attack would be raised every time she was hit by a dark type move. Sometimes she wondered why Katherine even kept her.

    Hershey sighed. "Togekiss," Why don't you just give up? the fairy said, grinning. As seen before, Hershey was cruel to the opponent, unlike a normal, caring Togekiss that they were supposed to be, and not at all what they were expected to be like. Before Alyssa could even say it, the fairy/flying Pokemon shot the orbs at the Houndoom.

    Henry's fists clenched as he saw that the Lucario was swift, and dodged out of the way of the large fire ringed attack. Either way he found this impressive, as dodging the licking flames was a difficult thing to do. The Delphox seemed surprised, as no one had done that to her Mystical Fire move before. Her ears lowered slightly, she was so excited to use a move that was going to be super effective. Was she not fast enough? Not strong enough? The strange thing about his Delphox was that it could be really excited, or really self conscious. It had a unique personality compared to most of his Pokémon. As she glanced back at him, her ears perked up again. He was still smiling! He gave her a thumbs up, as if to tell her there was nothing to worry about. Moves were dodged, that was something that happened in battle. It might've been an unlucky point but there wasn't any reason that they could come back from it. Gallifrey grew excited again, giving a happy chirping noise. She turned back to Lucario, dancing from one foot to the other again.

    Henry waited for the next move, interesting the arsenal of moves that the Fighting/Steel type would have tucked under it's exterior. His eyes suddenly widened and he gasped slightly. It knew Stone Edge?! But that was a Rock type move, super effective against his Fire type Delphox! Gallifrey seemed to be in sync with the fear of the upcoming move. As rocks jutted up from the ground and slammed into the Delphox's furry body, Gallifrey let out a painful cry. Once the rocks had disappeared she fell to the ground, slamming onto her back. Henry was about to run onto the field, taking two steps but was still inside the trainer box. The Delphox made a noise, which made him stop. Was she not fainted? Her HP was already down a bit from the Aura Sphere earlier but since this was a Super Effective move he was worried that she had fainted. Thanks to the strong bond that Henry had with his Delphox, it toughed it out to show it's best side to it's trainer. [A thing that happens when you Pokémon has 5 hearts in PokeAmi] But any other move from this point forward that Gallifrey was hit with would make it faint, even one that wasn't very effective.

    Henry instantly reached to his belt, about to grab Gallifrey's Pokéball and pull her back. But as the Fire/Psychic type saw what he was doing she cried out in protest. Henry looked up at her with wide and confused eyes. She attempted to speak to him again, but of course he couldn't understand her. He could only assume from her actions. "You want to keep fighting?" She nodded in agreement. Henry was extremely hesitant, but place his Pokéball back onto his belt. His eyes were full of concern now, gulping. But then, that smile of his broke through again. "Your right, I know you can do it! Alright, this time lets try a Will-O-Wisp." The Delphox smiled, turning back to her opposing Lucario. She staggered from side to side now, scratches from the marks evident on her body. But either way, she rose her stick wand high in the air and fire started to expand from it. It formed six balls of flaming element, circling around Delphox for a short amount of time. This was until she thrashed her arms forward once again. Each ball approached Lucario from a different direction. The move only burned the target, rather than inflicting large amounts of damage. But if he could place a burn on Lucario, that would give him an advantage for the rest of the battle even if Delphox fainted. Though there was no way it could faint the opposing Pokémon.

  • Tianna frowned slightly as she heard the Togekiss speak to her Houndoom, only receiving a low growl in return. He stood his ground, his head raised in a defiant challenge as the orbs slammed into him, knocking him out. As he hit the ground, his body shimmered with a multicolored aura; when the aura faded, he had returned to normal form.

    Tianna winced, then sighed slightly. "You did good, Pyro." She returned him to his Pokèball, placing it in her bag. She picked up her last team member she could use; Veevee, her Serperior.

    She stared at the Pokèball in her hand for a moment, holding it close to her chest before nodding and throwing it out on the field. "Okay, Veevee, let's go!"

    "Serperior ser," hissed the grass-type, narrowing its red eyes at Hershey.

    "Right! Serperior, use Aerial Ace!"

    "Ser!" Serperior replied, darting across the battlefield and leaping up to use the move before swiftly turning midair and slithering back to Tianna.

    {would a dragon tail be not very effective or is Togekiss totally immune to it?}

    ~~~
  • (Togekiss would be completely immune to all dragon type attacks because of the fairy typing.)
    Lucario didn't seem to have a need to dodge. It was just a simple burn...but how did the Delphox, or Gallifray as the trainer would call the Delphox (she was not used to nicknames or Pokemon Amie), survive the attack? Katherine was also surprised, but quickly said, "Stone Edge again." The burn might've hurt, but she pulled through and used the rock type move, hoping to be the first pokemon to knock one of Henry's pokemon out.
    "Nice job, Hershey," she said, returning the Togekiss. The Togekiss sighed, wanting to battle some more, but reluctantly went back inside the pokeball. Alyssa released her Drapion, Silver, who looked ready to battle as ever. To most people, a Drapion is never expected-maybe some Poison or Steel pokemon, such as Scolipede for a poison type, to deal with fairies, people don't expect a Drapion. The trainer didn't know why-it could've just been here, but Silver, under the right circumstances, could be a powerhouse.
    Nightsky watched the battle, seeing one of his friends Lucario. The whole team were friends, some got along better than others, but Lucario was always the adorable and quiet one (as seen with the bow ties around her ear), but for some reason Katherine didn't seem to like that, so she was kept in her pokeball 9/10 times. The dark type came closer to his trainer and Anemone, a sad smile on his face.
    The Delphox was too weak to attempt to dodge the move. With her health literally only at 1, anything would knock her out. Especially the powerful Stone Edge attack. She had a grimace on her face, closing her eyes slowly and preparing for the attack. That was when the pointed rocks shot up out of the ground again and battered Gallifray all around, adding to her already all over scratches and bruises. When the rocks disappeared into the ground again, The Delphox fell to the ground with another powerful sounding thud. Her eyes opened to reveal black swirls, she had fainted. The first Pokémon in Henry's party to faint.
    Henry didn't hesitate or take more than a moment. He dashed forward on quick feet, and once he got close enough he fell to his knees and picked up his Pokémon's head off of the ground. "I'm sorry Gallifray. I shouldn't have let you keep battling..." He whispered to her, feeling guilty for allowing his Pokémon to faint during the battle. "You did very well. I'm proud of you." He said, using his left hand to grab her Pokéball while his right was still holding her head. He beamed her back inside, glad that his Pokémon was going to be able to get a rest. He was still glad for her Will-O-Wisp attack, since that should do some decent damage for a status condition every turn to the Lucario.
    He stood up, placing the Pokéball back onto his hip in it's proper slot. His gaze changed over to Katherine, expecting some sort of reaction from her. Maybe encouragement to her Pokémon, even at least a nod of some sort. He wasn't even sure if she would notice or give any sort of recognition. A grimace appeared on his face. He couldn't tell what she was going to do but he could only guess that it wasn't going to be anything good. Unless she was one of those people who only cared about her Pokémon when they won. Either way, Henry's head snapped over to look at the feminine Lucario. He felt like she deserved at least something. Even if it didn't come from her own trainer. He gave her a definante nod saying, "Good work. Very impressive." He wasn't sure if it'd care, but it seemed pretty happy earlier when he complimented her bow. He quickly turned on the balls of his feet and ran back to the trainer's box, ready to continue the battle. He still had a majority of a team at his arsenal, and only one Pokémon left on Katherine's side.
    He picked the very first Pokéball that was presented on his belt. "Alright Reiu, lets finish off this battle!" He called, throwing the Pokéball into the stadium and having it pop open with a crackling noise. The signature Reuniclus reappeared and let out it's little cry, eyes happy and sparkling. It seemed reenergized after taking a rest in it's Pokéball for a while. Henry returned the ball to his belt strap and folded his arms across his chest. A small smirk appeared on the blond males face and he said, "Hey, Reiu?" He said to his Pokémon, and Reuniclus glanced behind him with a curious look on his face. "Did you know that his Lucario fainted Gallifray?" Reiu slowly turned to look at the Fighting/Steel type. At first his face was blank, and it stayed like this for a few awkward seconds. That was when Reuniclus let out a loud, irritated and angered shriek. He was angered now, and had a new fire in him.
    Henry chuckled, loving the way that his Reuniclus was. Whenever someone in his party fainted Reiu would get very mad and aggressive. His focus seemed to be sharper, not that it gave them any actual advantage in battle. It was just something that kept him alert, prevention from outside distractions. "I see how you feel. Now, why don't we try to give a powerful impact with a Psychic?" He commanded and Reiu didn't hesitate. Throwing his arms out to the side, and then inward with a thrust forward, shot out a large wave length of the psychic ability. This shot not only in front of him, but from every side, thanks to the circular appearance of the attack.
  • She smiled, but the smile quickly faded. "Luca...," "Oh no...," she said, seeing the psychic type's rage. The psychic attack had gotten her in the red, and she probably only had 15 hp left. Shaking her head, she suddenly heard Katherine say, "Dark Pulse." The Lucario whipped her head towards the trainer, both confused and worried. She didn't have Dark Pulse! Katherine had made her forget it in exchange for Stone Edge. Doing the first thing she could think of-using Extreme Speed. She charged at full speed at Reiu, almost sure that she would faint after another hit from the Reuniclus.
  • [fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; font-family: times new roman; font-size: 50px; margin-bottom: -17px; letter-spacing: -2px; text-align: center; color: COLOR; text-transform: lowercase; text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px black; margin-top: -15px;] HENRY DODGE[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; font-family: georgia; font-size: 10px; letter-spacing: 2px; text-align: center; color: COLOR; text-transform: uppercase; text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px black;]MALE -- 15 -- BERRY GARDENER[/fancypost][fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 400px; color: COLOR; line-height: 100%; font-size: 10px; text-align: justify]
    Henry heard the command and recognized it as a Dark type move. That would be super effective against his Reuniclus, and the move would be very difficult to dodge. It's range was similar to psychic in the way that it formed a circle around the Pokémon and blasted outward at the horizontal mark. "Reiu, float close to the ground." Henry said very quickly, the words almost hard to understand but it seemed that Reui got the gist of it. Pressing himself to the ground might help avoid the attack or even make the impact less powerful. But then something happened that they weren't expecting.
    Henry's head jerked back in surprise. That move wasn't Dark Pulse! Was that Quick attack? No, it seemed much more powerful of an attack than that. An adult Lucario would likely not know that move. Was it Extreme Speed? Yes, that had to be it! It was only a normal type move then. It wouldn't either be super effective or not very effective, just a regular attack. His Reuniclus could easily survive that, since he had his full health. Reui didn't realize it though, and still floated to the ground and pressed himself against it. In confusion, he was kicked into the air by the attack. He let out a cry of surprise and flew backwards. Henry instantly caught him, then let go so that he could float back into the ring. His health was still in the green, but hanging on by a thread from being in the yellow. "I think it's time to finish this." He said, cracking his knuckles. The Reuniclus seemed in full agreement. "Psychic!" He commanded, and Reui preformed the same attack as previously.
  • Tianna's eyes widened. A Drapion... That was bad news, considering her only remaining Pokèmon was a grass-type. Veevee seemed to understand the danger, turning her head and giving Tianna a slightly worried look before looking back at the Drapion.
    "Right... Veevee, use Dragon Tail!" Tianna ordered, an edge of panic creeping into her voice.
    The Serperior let out a cry, slithering forward as fast as she could before leaping up and slamming her tail onto the Drapion, backing away as quickly as she could to get out of its range.
  • She fell on her back hard, knocked out because of the super effective psychic attack. Katherine returned the Lucario, saying things just loud enough for Henry to hear-"Worthless thing, should've never caught you." She didn't realize that Henry could hear her. Picking up Lucario's pink ribbon, crumpling it up and stuffing it in her bag. "Yeah, you win. I wouldn't go bragging about it." Katherine glared at Reiu.
    Silver shook his head, his health still in green, but near yellow. "Poison Jab!" She said, causing the Drapion's punchers to glow purple, and charge at Veevee. Alyssa looked at Tianna, a small but friendly smile on her face. Not that she was taunting her for losing.
  • "Veevee, watch out!" Tianna yelped, her eyes going wide. The Serperior made a hissing noise, darting out of the way of the attack. She whirled around, her red eyes flaring. "Serperior!" she hissed, her tail lashing back and fourth.
    Tianna blinked slowly, looking up and returning Alyssa's small smile. "Dragon tail, once more!" Tianna called out.
    Veevee nodded, bolting forward as her tail started to glow with a blue energy. She leaped up again, a fury in her eyes as she lashed out in aim for Silver. She knew one hit from the Drapion would either knock her out, or come very close to doing so. She wanted to try her hardest and prevent that from happening--or at least stall it out.
    IC: Anemone gasped when she heard the words the girl spoke to her Lucario, "Va, Vapor!" how can your trainer be so cruel? she turned her worried black eyes to Nightsky, afraid. Had he been treated like this too. Vesper only noticed her behaviour and shook his head disapprovingly, "She is no trainer."
  • Shaking his head after the attack, his claws glee the same color, and charged towards Veevee again, trying to use Poison Jab again.
    Nightsky sighed and looked down, ears flopping limy on the sides of her head. "Umbreon...," She's..like that... he said sadly, before walking over to Vesper, sitting down, and leaning on him. He had watched Lucario, even as a Riolu, being either ignored or shouted at. He even remembered her leaving Lucario at the old chateau, leaving her being scarred for life and terrified of ghost types and graveyards.
    IC: Vesper folded his arms across his chest tightly and glared at Katherine. He'd give her a piece of his mind, no doubt about it. She had no right to treat her Pokémon with such cruelty. They were friends, partners, not tools. Feeling a rubbing sensation on his leg, he stared down at Nightsky. Sadness tightened at his chest. If he could, he would save all of the Pokémon. This wasn't right. He turned his beetle green eyes back to the battle.
    Anemone rested her tail lightly on Nightsky's shoulder, "She's awful. No wonder you wanted to leave. I'm really grateful your here, safe with us." She turned her head back to the battle, much like her trainer. Did Vesper think the same thing? Probably, because his eyes were dark. He was thinking. Anemone knew this look.
