    Merrick sighed " I guess your right... " he looked up at the gods.


    Juni smiled.
    "Well,I was kind enough to save you when you protected me so I don't suppose you could loosen your tongue on what the humans are planning.",The goddess said,walking up to Merrick and laying down in front of him. Avita tried not to smirk. 'So that's why...',she thought.

    Merrick sighed " I'll tell you all I know... But on one condition. " He looked at Juni.

    " I don't want to be killed after I give information. I also want to stay here if its OK. I know the village won't let me back in but having a human on your side is a great advantage. Especially if this human was trained in the art of combat. " Merrick explained.


    "Hmm....I suppose we will allow you to stay here.",Juni said.
    "Are you sure that's wise Juni? How can we allow him to stay in our forest after he slayed so many of our brothers and sisters? He could turn on us.",Avita said,glaring at Merrick before returning her gaze to Juni.
    "Quiet girl!",Juni growled before calming a bit.
    "I have lived many years more than you have. I've seen more than you can dream of,done things you could never do,and heard things you will never hear. I believe that from my experience I can differentiate between what is wise and foolish.",the wolf goddess said.
    "I-I apologize...",Avita said quietly.
