    Avita glared at him.
    "Don't call me one of your twisted kind. The very fact that I'm here is proof
    of just how despicable humans are. How do you think I ended up in the forest?",Avita growled.

    " I really don't care. If we keep arguing I don't want to hear what you have to say. " Merrick huffed


    "Fine then.",Avita said and stood. "By the way,you may see....odd creatures. They might try to speak with you but will probably leave you alone....probably..."

    " Whatever " Merrick sat up again. He was careful not to hurt himself.


    "Do be careful. I would rather not have Juni angry at me...",Avita said. "I'm going back to help the wounded. Are you coming with me?",she asked before adding,"Actually...I think you should come with me... The others may not be exactly friendly towards humans...Can you walk on your own?"

    Merrick followed silently. He looked down then up " So where did you come from? "


    Avita sighed.
    "Well...When I was very young my 'parents' abandoned me here in the forest... Juni,Okato,and the others were kind enough to raise me."


    Avita sighed and calmed herself.
    "I'm sorry...they're the closest thing to family I have so I can't help it...",she said. Shortly after they arrived at a clearing in the forest where the wounded stayed. Dozens of huge injured boars and wolves laid in the grass and moss,some unconscious. In the midst of them stood a wolf who seemed to be treating the wounded. He turned to Merrick and Avita.
    "Avita,why do you bring a human here where our wounded brothers lie?",the grey wolf growled. "Calm yourself. He saved Juni's pup and you are not to harm him,lest you feel Juni's wrath.",Avita said and walked up to the wounded beasts,beginning to treat their wounds.

    Merrick only watched * Huh... I guess I won't be returning anytime soon... *


    Avita sighed as she treated a wounded boar.
    Suddenly a loud howl was heard. All were silent to hear the
    howl before it ended. Al of the wolves howled and yipped and Avita smiled.
    "The battle was won."


    "The forest.It sounds like the humans retreated.",she said and continued to treat the wounded. After a bit movement was heard from the surrounding area and a massive boar walked into the clearing. Beside him was Juni and following the two gods were the other boars and wolves. Avita rushed to meet them. She stood in front of the boar god,seeming tiny compared to him. The girl bowed her head in respect.
    "Welcome home,Nime.",she said. Nime seemed to smile.
    "I'm glad to be back.",he said. The boar god turned to Merrick. His grey eyes were clouded,blind,but he was aware of Merrick through scent.
    "And I assume this is the human?",he spoke to Juni.
    "Yes.",The wolf goddess replied and turned to Merrick,seeming to smile.

    Merrick was tense at this point " Hello... " he said " What happens to me now? " he asked.


    "Do not be frightened.",Juni said.
    "None of us will harm you. You are free to do as you wish,but I doubt the humans will accept you. Those that you fought have most likely already fabricated a lie,trying to make you seem like a villain.",the wolf goddess said.
