introduction

Thickclan were proud clan. With many generations of under their belt. They fight other clans, they manage to win, and keep an strong future. Wind, hail, storms, badgers, dogs, twolegged. They were rising high. Even in hardships, they believe they would survive anything...or so they thought.

With the omen. The one omen they start it all. When they thought it meant one thing, it turns out that isn't the meaning. Another, another....in all the end, the cats in thought. Was the omen saying they are to die? That's their destiny? They have face hard times. But. they never lost so many cats, so little food. They was even run out of their own home. Wild dogs, wolves strike, and badgers. The clan end up but nothing but destroyed.

Once a proud clan, powerful of where they belong to. What they fight for. All lay in waste. Half of the clan is dead. Few of them gave up in disrepair. Leaving the clan with only five. They look no more then rogue, then an clan looking for an new home. To stay strong in the hard times. Luck, may finally got to them.

"I don't smell wolves, or badgers. I can smell prey. I'm not sure how long this is free area. There seem to be an fox or two. Something else, I can't tell what the smell is." The black, brown and white cat said. It was a good sign compare to everything else they deal with. Twolegged been building roads, or kidnapped one of their own. Looking over the leader, the grey cat with black stripes look around. She isn't so sure of this area as of yet.

She look back to the other three following behind. Her eyes fall on pure white cat. Any cat can tell he is dangerously thin. He gave up his meal to the young cat, the only young one that manage to survive the trip. The young cat, with an creamish yellow coat, with yellow stripes looking at him in nothing in concern. The grey cat rethink the situation. They have three working bodies, an young cat that has no training, and another one fear he might die anytime soon. This might not be the safest place..but is really right to risk the life? They could stay for short amount time. At best.

"Rabbitcatcher. You and Runningriver will hunt for food. Me, Cloudstep, and Robinpaw will look into finding an den for the night." She said, the black, brown, and white cat look her straight in the eye. As if testing if any doubt. Sensing she centen she want to take the risk. She nod her head. "Come on." She said to the brown, black striped cat. Whom blink, is concern of leaving the three alone. But can see why of this situation of poor Cloudstep. He nod his head, as following her lead. Into the forest. Unknown if they be lucky or not.

"Should we really be stopping?" Cloudstep question, his eyes look around the unfamiliar area. Forests has not really done them good, at least, not anymore. "Don't worry Cloudstep. Rabbitcatcher has an sharp nose. You need to rest. Robinpaw, keep an eye for danger. I be close by." The grey cat said, as the yellow cat nod. "I'll keep an eye out for any trouble, Tearstar." Robinpaw said. He want to make himself useful. Standing more tally. Try to make himself more like..a warrior is. Before moving to get a good spot to watch over. Cloudstep move over to an tree, and lay down. He won't argue..he feels so tired, and hungry.

Robinpaw might not be an train fighter. He does have an nose, and by now know the scent of trouble. Tearstar move to search around the area. Anything that work as an proper den for the night. To fill their stomachs. The forest is thick, and scent of prey around. Food don't seem as must an issue. She thought. She move to jump on an treestump. Scanning around the area. Trees, more trees. Move to climb down the tree, and move to over the cave. Her nose at work to see if she can smell anything. It seems like, nothing live here. Odd. This seems like an ideal place for an large predator. Like Rabbitcatcher said. She couldn't smell any predators around. Beside fox. She smell none here.

She move deeper in the cave, there's seems to be tunnels? Her eyes scan around. She can't be too careful. The tunnels itself seem to not be go deep. Almost like an den size. Most of them are like that, expect for one. That seems to go long path. There could be danger on the other side. Something, an gut feeling tell her she should check. Moving to the tunnel, move to follow it. As each step she get more wary. She can't smell any trouble, but she worry on how long is to go back. Something caught her eye. Light? She is..out of the cave? There's two entrances? Looking around the area, she sniff the air. She smell prey here. No predator. Relife fill her. She move to return back. To tell Cloudstep the cave. If anything comes. They have somewhere to run to.

Return to the two cats, worry fill her looking at the white tom. Look like he doze off. "No haven't smell or seen any dangerous creatures." Robinpaw said. From on an tree, looking around the area. "It seems safe for now." Her head slight nod. She move to give the white tom an light nudge. "Cloudstep, get up, we found an den." She said. As his eyes open, looking over at her. He look so tired. He still got up. "come on." She said, lead the way. The two follow her to the cave. Robinpaw look around, seeing the other tunnels, it worried him.

"Relax, the only one you need to watch beside the entrance, is that one over there." she said. "the rest are dead-ends." He relaxes at that. Cloudstep didn't take much time to find a spot, and just lay down. Rest...he doesn't want to walk anymore. His paws hurt. "Keep an eye out for danger, okay?" The young cat didn't need to really be ask. Move to guard the other entrance, as she watch the front one.

Rabbitcatcher and Runningriver soon return. With an good haul of fresh-kill. Most was given to Cloudstep, to regain his strength. With an light discussing. They decide to stay for some time to let them recover strength. The food is plentiful, and this place seem secure. With Rabbitcatcher wonder if they finally found their new home. Everything about this place is what they need. But she won't push it. Tearstar had lead them until now, and she still lead. Even she can't miss the doubt this place could be their new home. You just never can be too careful.

They stay a lot longer that Tearstar had thought they would. They recover their strength, and Robinpaw is under Rabbitcatcher, teaching him to hunt. He was once a time to be trainie medical cat. They don't have one. Blankstare. Tearstar miss that old cat. He was wise, reliable. He personally was the one to pick out Robinpaw, said he seem like he had a lot going for him in the future. He had..good instincts, hunchs? He didn't depend on the Starclan help. He follow his own senses. They should had follow their own. Starclan..why of that omen? Why every cat to be gone as this now?

She turn to look over to Runningriver, to report on the border. "The prey is still plentiful, and I have yet to smell any other cat. Nor predators." He reported. As looking at him, she nod. "Is Rabbitcatcher returning soon?" She question. "They seem to be finish up hunting to return back." Cloudstep already when out and brought back food. He is guarding, they been taken ships. The don't need as must food, but their guards is limited. They need to be wary of any strike from behinds.

She believe she made up her mind. This is..the place they are looking for. Everything running smoothly. They travel so far. This will be their new home. "Runningriver, don't leave out for hunting, I need all cats here." She said, as he give a slight nod. he decide to go help guard with Cloudstep.

The last two cats finally return. She move to the center, with an proud strong voice call. "Every cat that is old enough to catch their prey, come." She call. The four move in front of her. "We been traveling many moons, and we lost so many. We been traveling to find an new home, an place we be safe, we can hunt, where we can raise our young, and hope to die in our old age. I believe, we might have found. The prey is plentiful, we have an den, secure, and escape path if needed. There's been no sign of predators. Foxes seem to only to come in the area for water. Twolegged is nowhere in sight. It is time." she said. "This will be our home. The clan will grow again and be strong! But, we will no-longer be Thickclan." she said As at first of cheers, but quiet. "We were abandon. The Starclan has warn us of hardships. We have lost few times before. But, never, never were we like this! We never lost more than half our clan, lost our home, forced to travel, harm by wolves, badgers, foxes on our way here. We will follow our own will. We manage to survive when they thought we will all be died. But, my fellow clanmates. We are not rogues. We will never be. We have our own honor to follow. Will you four willing to follow me, even if I chance our once clan. We been loyal to..to a new clan, strong, that we don't need to anyone to depend on or hold our paws. We have our own strength, instincts, and most of all. Our honor." She question, looking at the for before her.

"Of course." Rabbitcatcher said, she didn't need time to think. This feel Tearstar heart with joy. Her best-friend, her deputy, is going to be loyal to her to the bitter-end. This time, she can work to make they live until they are old.

All eyes fall on Cloudstep. Whom seem the most unsure of it. His eyes look around his friends, family. Concern. Starclan lead them for so many generations. We are now, never-more Thickclan. We are now, Reclaw Clan. We will be strong, we claws will be sharp to defend ourselves and those around us. As finally finish her speech, the cats move to rest, Rabbitcatcher is guarding. "Rabbitcatcher. I have an special job for you." Tearstar said, as the she-cat look over to her. "I want you to keep an eye out for loners. We need more blood. Don't let anyone to the clan unless you trust them." Tear said. Rabbitcatcher see what she means. But new cats could be new trouble, but, again, they are new beginning. She won't question her. "Very well, I will Tear. I will."

Leader: The leader loses their last name, refer by their first name. They have the highest power in the clan, as their word mean law, and they can make the biggest actions. They can be put in question by the Council Ring. The leader can choose an successor that would take their place once they retire or kill. If no one is pick. it will automatically fall to the deputy to become leader.

Council Ring
Deputy: The 2nd in command underneath the leader. They keep reports, and tent to keep updates with the other Council of the Ring. Their job is to know what is going on, and to report to the leader. They can give commands that can only be overshadow by rest of the Council Ring, or by the leader. The Deputy is chosen by the leader, and Council of the Ring.

General: The general are the one to leader, and command other cats. They have to be both strong, and good wits to them. They can choose successor, which will fill the position of general apprentice. Having training, and teaching. If the general dies and no successor, the leader and rest of the Council Ring will choose who will fill the position.

General Apprentice: Unlike normal warrior or medical apprentice. They can become one at any age, when they are seen capable of leading, and fighting. With the current general to teach them everything they know. Once the general dies or retires, they will fulfill the role. They do not have an say in decisions making, but are present during meetings.

Medical: The medical cat look over the other cats wounds, giving necessary herbs and otherwise. They are also the middle-ground. They are look upon to look at things fully, not just at one perspective. No cat should ever harm medical cat. They can choose their successor that will become an medical apprentice. If the medical cat dies, and there's no successor it is up to leader, and rest of the council ring to decide another cat take the place.

Medical Apprentice: An cat that tent to be chosen once they become 6 moon of age to become successor for medical cat. They are taught by the medical cat everything they know. They will fulfill the rule as Medical cat once the medical cat either dies or retires. They don't have an say in decision making but are present for meetings.

Tester: The tester are the ones to study, and watch new recruit. To test if they able to fulfill as warrior, and have loyalty for clan. They are chosen by the leader and council ring.

Normal Rankings

Warrior: The majority of the clan is warriors. They go hunt to feed the clan, and ready to fight if needed to protect the territory. They tent to train an apprentice when kit comes to age.

Warrior Apprentice: Once an kit become 6 moons of age. They are taken by an warrior as an appertience. To learn how to hunt, fight, doge, and the warrior code. Once they ready they will become warrior.

Queen: Queens are mother cats that expecting or taken care of kits. They majority stay at base, guard, and take care of kits. Food is given to them by warriors.

Kits: Kits are newborn to about 6 moons old. That is too young to go hunt, or defend themselves. They are in care of the queens, and rest of the clan for protection. once they reach 6 moons of age, they will become an apprentice.

Elders: Elders are cats that reach old age, that retires, and being take care by the rest of the clan. They are known for their wisdom. They are also the cats to bury the died.

Low Ranking/Outsiders

Recruits: Outside cats that been recruited, and are under testing by Tester. They are forbidden to go near any dens beside their own at camp. They are allow to go to Leader den, or the medical den if given permission. They otherwise has the same duties as warrior, and are expected to be treated as warriors even though the restrictions. Young cats and kits that end up recruited are automatically becoming Apprentice, or taken care by an queen. Elders that can't defend themselves are set with the elders. Only adult cats that can do harm are put in this position until they are seen trustworthy enough.

Prisoner: Cats that was taken from rogue group, or other clan to get information out of them. They are bind to the den, and forcefully return back if they attempt to escape. They are only to be spoken to by the general(unless given permission), feed by the general, and only be question by them, and deputy. Their judgement will be after on what they will do to them once two moons past as prisoner. Killing them should be the last restore, and must be agree by all councils.

Loners: Loners are cats that belong to no clan, and don't steal food from clan. They are giving possibility of joining if they so desire. They are expect to be warn to leave territory if they are present on it.

Rogue: Rogue are cats don't belong to an clan, that could be alone, or small group. They are expected to fight off territory. If they are group, they may be caught to become prisoner for information.

Kittypets: Kittypets are rarity, and are given the same treatment as loners. Regardless if stealing food(if first time). They are warn or offer to join. If kittypets however proven they are more on taken food then bringing in. They will be kick out, and be loners. They are treated with rogues if they inroge warnings.
