HELP OUT WITH AN PIRATE BASED MAIN-GAME GROUP?

-All Feralfront rules apply

-Do not fight OOC. Over anything. HPs, threads, characters, nada. We don't tolerate OOC drama here.

-You must sign up to be a part of this crew. This is not a jump-in kind of group. You are not a part of the group until a HP has accepted your application.

-Dual membership is allowed inside of the crew. So your character my also be from another clan and still be a apart of the crew. Just clarify this when you sign-up.

-If you are inactive for more than two weeks without a notice then your character will be booted from the group but they may rejoin later. This goes for HPs and members alike.

-Play fairly and uniquely. Interesting characters and plots go far. We like to see them here.

-It is preferred your character is pirate based or something similar or in that category. Although this is not required. Your character can be as little or as massively pirate based as you want.

-HPs are usually earned in character. Do not ask to be a HP. Also, do not get too caught up in trying to obtain a HP. Just have fun roleplaying if you really desire one you'll get there in time.

-The Crew is open to all species and animals. We'll take your cats, dogs, wolves, birds, fish, and iguanas.

-Have fun!

-Pirates follow their own rules and their rules only. The Warrior code and other similar garbage is not obeyed here. The Crew does not follow any certain belief system, but religion is accepted.

-Loyalty to the Captain and crew is of upmost importance.

-It is best to assume the Captain's word is law.

-Prisoners taken during raids or battle are to be kept in the supply room. They are not to be tortured or harmed unless they have misbehaved. If a prisoner is sentenced to death then the crew will force them to walk the plank. Prisoners are usually only kept for ransom.

-Mentor and apprenticeship is not required within The Crew, but it is encouraged for older members to teach the younger ones. Nothing is stopping a crew member from taking another under his/her wing.

-The Crew's allies are to be respected. Do not harm a group/clan we are allied with.

-Raids, meetings, demotions/promotions, and business with outside clans are all done by HPs. A member who is not a HP must receive permission from the Captain to do/host any of these things.

The Crew resides on there very own pirate ship. The group sails the seas in their vessel they call home. The Captain or First-Mate drives the ship. Sometimes the group stops at islands or land to rest, collect supplies, hunt, pillage, or scout.

The Crew's ship is named The Black Trident. The Black Trident, as it's name suggests, is a dark black wooden ship with three large sails. It is a large and sturdy boat and flies the jolly rigger high above its decks.

Aboard the ship:

The Quarter Deck- This is the higher deck at the back or stern of the ship. This is where the steering wheel or helm of the ship is located, in other words this is where the Captain drives the ship. This deck is open to anyone. A short flight of stairs connect this deck with the main deck. During meetings the Captain and the First-Mate stand atop the quarter deck while the rest of the crew sit on the main deck.

The Main Deck- The deck of the ship. Behave or you'll end up swabbing it! Wooden railing lines the deck. It is a spacious and open area. The base of the three sails are located here. An anchor is kept here as well.

The Crow's Nest- A small structure above the ship's deck that can be climbed to. It is connected to the ships largest and middle sail/mask. It serves as a look-out point.

The Captain's Quarters- A room located under the quarter deck. This is where the captain of the ship sleeps. There is a small bed at the corner of the room. At the room's center is a large table with maps, a compass, and many stray papers. A few chairs are set up around the table. The room is accessed by a door on the main deck. This is not only where the Captain rests but it is also where the high positions make important decisions and talk.

The Crew Quarters- This is a large room underneath the main deck. It is accessible by a hatch on the deck. Here there are many bunks for crew members to rest. A table with chairs is even present with games such as checkers or cards. Crew members and virtually anyone other than the captain sleep here.

Hospital- Pirates aren't the most high-tech when it comes to medical practices. The Hospital is at the very back of the Crew Quarters. It is separated from the Crew Quarters by a mass of hanging white bed sheets. Here a few cots are laid out for the sick and injured. Carts and cabinets hold medical supplies and herbs. One or two chairs are present for guests or others. The Doctors do their work here.

Supply Room- This is a small room under the crew's quarters in the ships hull. This is where supplies are stored in wooden crates and boxes. To the back of the room stands two large metal barred cells. These are for storing The Crew's prisoners.

The Treasury- A small room under the captain's quarters in the ship's hull. This is where The Crew stores their loot. Treasures and valuables can be found here. Crew members are forbidden to take from this room and if caught they will be forced to walk the plank.

The Sails- The three large sails upon the main deck. They can be raised or lowered by ropes.

The Bow- The very front of the ship where the hull becomes a point. A long wooden pole with a pointed end extends at its front. The bow can be climbed on by agile and careful climbers for a view of the open and upcoming sea.

Captain- The Crew's leader. The captain is in charge and makes decisions for the group.The Captain has all powers.

First-Mate- He/she is the Captain's right hand man. The 1st mate is The Crew's second in command. He/she will succeed the Captain. Captain's personal advisor. Has all powers of a captain only he/she must ask permission from the Captain before making big decisions.

Officers- A few trusted and fierce members of The Crew. They are respected and in charge of lower ranks. They can lead attacks/raids with permission from the Captain, host events, and lead meetings.

The Navigator- In charge of making sure the ship is on course. The Navigator possess The Crew's map. They help decide where to ship will sail. The navigator can host events and give input on where the crew will travel.
Charter- A Navigator in-training. The Charter(s) serve as the Navigator's assistant. They learn the seven seas front and backwards to prepare for when they become Navigators themselves. They help in drawing maps and documenting things. Can host events. Succeeds the Navigator.

Doctors- The healers of the Crew. These members help the sick and injured. If you get the scurvy find one of these guys! Herbs and other healing materials are gathered when visiting lands. A small supply of bandages is also present within the Supply Room. They work in the ship's hospital.

Gunners- The battle masters of The Crew. These are the most able and ready crew members. They are the group's elite attacking force. Can lead attacks with permission from the Captain.
Head Gunner- Head of the Gunners. It's his/her job to keep his/her Gunners in gear. Same abilities as Gunners.

Sailors- Semi-HP. They have shown their loyalty and worth to the group. Can host events.

Crew Members- Non high positions. The mass of the crew. Regular members of the crew. Teenagers, young adults to elders.

Littluns- Non high position. Regular members below the age of childhood/young adulthood. The children/babies of the group.

The Map is used by the Navigator and Captain to decide where the crew will sail. It is for documenting the sea which they explore. The Bone-Crew live on a ship meaning this is a mobile group and they travel and explore the world. From time to time the crew will visit islands and places.

All area marked 'unknown' is territories unexplored by The Crew. As the crew discovers what lies in those waters the places will be added to the map.

Part of the Navigator's job is to keep up with the map and decide which place the Crew will travel to next. When the Captain asks 'where to?' the Navigator give his/her input.

This is a little fun thing the Crew does. They are always discovering new places and revisiting old ones.

Allies:
None at the moment. The Crew is in search of allies and only accepts them personally.

Enemies:
None at the moment. The Crew is in search of enemies. If another clan or group wrongs The Crew or one of our allies then that group/clan will be listed as an enemy. Until then other clan's relationships with The Crew are neutral.
