  • So I had s nice long post drawn out but my phone died so here's the shorter version.

-Everyone got their top choice expect one person, whom I hope they respect my decision because I envisioned a character to belong to a certain power and the person's character matched so nicely I was very excited

-I have a surprise for everyone to discover in the rp!!!

-Person mentioned above will know about the surprise first and get to help pick their part out!

  • Okay guys. I decided since this thread will be private for just us, we will use it to rp. Here's the start. It's the night before their birthdays, each have received the letter on the main page. Now the character's are hearing voices beckoning them all to New York. Why? They don't know. Will the voices lead them or will the characters decide not to go?

Intelligence, better known as Chris sat looking out at the dark night sky from the luxury hotel near the airport. He gazed at the blazing balls of light in the sky wondering if he picked the proper location for their meeting. He knew he had to come back to the United States, the Chosen Ones wouldn't have left the country. Plus, it had been a long time since Chris visited the great city. He sat watching the lights flicker to alert the incoming planes there was some mass there. He felt calm, as he reassured himself he had made the correct decision. He took a bite out of the New York cheesecake and let the flavor settle on his tongue. It was blissful. Though, the coffee wasn't as flavorful as he could get in Brazil. He had a man in a nice, big, black SUV waiting at the airport for any of the Chosen ones showing up. The man was buff and a bit scary looking but Chris ha given him a nice pink sign that said "The Chosen Family Reunion." That was sure to help the Chosen ones find where they were going. Chris hoped they packed only the most important items because if they were to return home, bad things would begin to happen to their families. Such as them disappearing and ever to be seen again. Chris's jaw clenched and he took a long sip of the bourbon that sat in his glass. His eyes watched and wondered who would show up, though it wasn't much wondering since Chris had a pretty good idea. He smirked to himself at this thought and took another bite of cheesecake. All there was to do now was wait.

Quinnley's mind was constantly filled with all this junk but now thoughts of all this 'Chosen Ones ' stuff plagued her as well. She sat in her bedroom, the letter on her desk and her suitcase on her bed. Quinn glanced at the clock. It was 8:30, on a Wednesday night. Her father was on a business trip and her mother was working in the hospital. They wouldn't notice she was gone until Friday at least. She sat trying to think but all these things were plaguing her mind. What did the 'Intelligence' person mean when he said we would know where to go? A sudden answer came to mind. New York. New York... go to New York. A voice told her and her head was clear. Nothing else driving her insane just the thought of going to New York. Before Quinn knew what she was doing, Quinn was packing stuff up. She grabbed her favorite clothing items and also the most comfortable clothing she had. She put all her necessities like her toothbrush, and also put in a few pairs of shoes. She grabbed her small, black leather backpack and through in everything else. Wallet, keys, I.D., passport, a picture of her family, chargers, laptop, phone, earbuds, stuffed bear from her childhood, a few pieces of important jewelry and her journal. She wasn't sure why she needed all of this, but she just had a feeling. Next thing Quinnely knew, she was in the airport buying a ticket to New York for 10:00. She lived in Atlanta and wouldn't be in till at least 2:00 but Quinn knew she had to go. To her surprise, there was already a ticket for her. She quickly headed through the not so crowded airport and was on the plane, wondering if she was making the right choice. She peace in her head, was telling her she was.

  • Heidi wasn't able to get a lick of sleep at all, every time she began to drift away a voice in the back of her mind woke her up. It was around 10:45 when the voice became a bit more clear. When she figured she would be getting no sleep she headed downstair quietly to the living room and picked up her letter that she had left by the shredder, maybe, this guy wasn't crazy? She pursed her lips and headed back upstairs to her room with the letter in hand go she grimaced slightly. Go where? She couldn't just leave her family! go, go...Chosen One go to New York. Heidi nearly burst into laughter, New York? She living in North Carolina so it wouldn't be a long flight but she couldn't. She had little to no money. "Besides, would it really be the right thing to do?" yes it was beginning to worry her a bit that she was talking to the voice in her head. She took a deep breath and went back down stairs to fetch herself a suitcase and by 11:00 she was in her sleek black Mercedes Benz heading to the airport. Once she arrived she began to worry again about money but her mind was put to ease when she found a ticket waiting for her thought it also worries her. What if this wasn't real, all this chosen one junk and it was a trick some weird psychopath thought up.
She closed her eyes for a second to calm herself "no, this is right." She told herself before finding the Gate she would be departing from and boarded the awaiting plane her flight would only be two hours meaning she would arrive around 1:00.

Graham had torn up his letter in laughter when he received it, he had figured it was a friend of his trying to screw around with him but that night he began to realize that wasn't the case at all. Graham was the kind of kid to take any opportunity to leave home he hated it that much so when he first heard the voice telling him to go he had his things packed and was in his jeep in the blink of an eye. It was a cold night in North Dakota and the airport was even colder, the boy was able to watch his breath as he waited in a small line to get a ticket though he hadn't figured out where he was to go yet. Just as he reaches the woman behind the desk the words just seemed to flow out as if he had known all along "I need a ticket to New York." She got to typing on her computer before held out a slip of paper, his flight ticket to New York. He left without a word and once he found his gate he sat in silence waiting for the plane to board. He wouldn't arrive until 3:20

  • All he could think about, as he drove to the airport, was that he was probably insane. Okay he wasn't going to deny that he'd sort of believed in the paranormal side of life for most of his life. The letter was crazy though, it made no sense. Marcus was nothing that special, there was no way he could be some sort of 'chosen one'. The letter had sat open on the bed beside him, words facing up to the roof as if it could make more sense of the message then Marcus could. It was probably some strange kind of joke, plotted by those people at school that made fun of him for things like not swearing or ever having had sex. But then why did he feel the need to go somewhere? New York. He had to be in New York as soon as possible, it was an inarguable fact. Everything in the world, in his world, hung onto the need to be in New York. It was suddenly the center of his universe, the only destination for him that could possibly be right. No, it was silly, he couldn't just pack up and head of to New York the night before his eighteenth birthday. Then again he was going to be eighteen, and well why not. Now he heard of this happening before, perfectly good young people abandoning everything because they got a taste of wanderlust. That wasn't him, he'd swear by it, he'd be back within the week. It was just that he was turning eighteen the next day and he hadn't been anywhere. So he packed a bag with very few things but a book and change of clothes and, because he was getting the feeling that he needed something to remind him of home, the stuffed turtle plush he'd had since he was about a year old. When he arrived there was a ticket for him, which he should have felt worried about, but how could he when it felt so right? So there he sat in the airport, feeling insane, ready to hop on a flight to New York arrival estimated for 3:00 AM.

[Sorry for inactivity. I have been a bit busy lately.]

Pale feet shuffled along the cold wooden floor of the hallway inside the Scout residence. No sound was made as seventeen year old, Tawny Scout made her way down the hall, her eyes trying rather hard to adjust to the dim light. A white letter was clutched in one of her pale hands, her light brown eyes scanning the small hallways, hoping she didn't knock into one of the vases her step-mother had set out. Slipping through the doorway the lead to her room, Tawny silently shut the door behind her, turning on the dim lamp that sat on her desk. Her step-brother, Alex sat on her floor, his eyes raking across the words on the page.
Flopping onto her bed, Tawny opened up the letter. She had read it over and over multiple times that day. She had told Alex that is was nothing, probably just a prank from one of her friends at school, but deep down, Tawny knew it was much more than that. Her puppy-dog brown eyes scanned over each word before it fell on two words. Eighteenth Birthday.
"We can't just leave," Tawny mutter to Alex for the seventh time that night. "What are we going to tell father and Maybelle. Oh, um yeah, sorry we weren't here to tell you this in person, so we are just going to send you an email, but me and Alex flew off to New York to embrace our so called 'powers'. Why New York? Because that is where we feel we have to go to..... Yeah No."
Alex looked at her his own grey eyes tired and worried. "Tawny, we have no choice and you know that."
He was right and Tawny did know it. Sighing, the brunette grabbed one of her suit cases and started pulling clothes out of her closet, stuffing them in the bag. Tawny barely noticed Alex slipped out of her room to go pack his own bags.

By 11:45, Tawny was all packed in her step-brothers jet black Jaguar. She had pulled a sweater on over her dark grey tank top and had changed into a pair of grey sweat pants instead of the black shorts she had been wearing. As Alex pulled out of the driveway, Tawny fiddled with the rose necklace that hung limply from around her neck. It was a necklace her mother had given her before she fled. Sighing, Tawny looked at the clock on the car radio. 11:50. Living in Florida wasn't so bad now that she though about it. They would arrive to New York around 2 or 3 o'clock at the latest.

  • Quinnley stepped into the airport in New York, few people were in there and the only little shop open was a coffee shop she had never heard of. 'Matt's Best Brew' read a sign that was hanging above the doorway. In all her craziness, Quinn had forgotten to eat before she left and now she was starving. Thus, that left this little coffee shop as her only option for food. Quinn rolled her suitcase into the little place to find the only person there was some guy who looked more that unpleasant. She took a deep breath and as she approached him. As soon as she did though, she heard him talking to himself. 'Why the hell am I even here? There's literally no one here. Oh here comes a pleasant customer who is probably so tired they just want me to make them a d@mn coffee! Guess what?! I'm tired too!!' Quinn stopped as emotions flashed over her face. "I-I'm sorry. I'll go somewhere else... I just need a sandwich." She told the man and turned away not seeing the extreme look of confusion that crossed over the man's face. Quinn passed through and finally found another fast food restaurant that happily served her. She grabbed the nasty looking, greasy burger and took a bite. Usually, Quinn wouldn't eat this stuff but she was really hungry. She munched down the thing in literally 20 seconds before heading to the terminal where you pick up her baggage and meet whomever is giving you a ride. Immediately, Quinn noticed this HUGE guy that was very buff looking with a pink sign that said the 'Chosen Family reunion.' What kind of cruel joke is this?! Quinn shyly made her way over to the buff man and he grunted a hello to her. He picked up her bags and set them down to a bench where he told her to 'sit.' Quinn quickly plopped down and she stared up at the man with big, wide eyes. He walked back over to where he was standing with a sign in his hand.

  • Heidi stood like a brightly colored deer amongst...cow? Heidi slowly shook her head to herself [/i]what a horrible analogy[/i] she scolded herself before she began to walk along the terminal in very uncomfortable silence. Every now and then her gaze would flick around anxiously "I-If someone's going to come out and kill me c-can you please not?" She called down the empty terminal, truly afraid for her life at the moment. With slightly quicker steps she picks up the pace and heads to the baggage claim area to fetch her things. It wasn't long until it was her turn to stare at the very large man holding the sign. Heidi didn't move an inch and in fact was considering turning around until she noticed a girl sitting nearby on a bench as if she was waiting, perhaps, maybe she had received a note as well? With cautious steps she approached the man. "Hello." She murmured softly, receiving the same gruff hello. She watched as he took her bags and placed them near Quinnley. "Hi there, I'm Heidi." She introduced herself in a quiet tone She doesn't look like a killer but that guy on the other hand...

  • The man began to turn away before adding "Sit. Stay." He growled to the both of them, which made Quinn pull Heidi's arm so Heidi would sit. The man then turned away and held the sign up once more. Quinn looked to Heidi. "I'm Quinnley but my friends call me Quinn.. Well if I had friends to call me that. Anyway, call me Quinn." Quinn introduced before adding "Do you believe this stuff? What they are saying? About us having these powers?"
