    "I'm glad i can be your friend!" He added happily. It made him feel so happy knowing that he was helping spread joy and make someone feel better.

    She was taking deep breaths to try and calm herself down. "I-It's just over th-this way..." She said slowly, pointing to a store nearby. she began to cross the crosswalk but didn't even see the car that had skipped the red light and was heading right for her.

    Mark saw his whole life flash before his eyes,"NO DON'T!" He yelled, trying to pull her back in, but it was too late. The car came, and hit her, causing Mark's eyes to widen out of pure horror and worry.
    "JESUS!" He shouted as he ran over to her body, lying on the ground, he checked for a pulse and found one.
    "Hey, can you hear me? Skylar? Please answer?!" He asked, begging.

    Luckily, the car didn't hit her completely head-on. She only had a few ribs broken, and a head wound. She wasn't bleeding too badly. However, it was enough to knock her unconscious, so she didn't answer.

    she kept her eyes closed, feeling his hand on hers but not really paying attention to it at the moment. "H-how bad is i-it?" She croaked out, quietly.

    Mark was nearly crying,"I don't know, but visibly you have a head wound and a few broken ribs. God knows what other damage has happened." He said, worried and tears very nearly brimming. He hated seeing her in pain, he hated seeing her so fragile, he decided he would stay with her, until she was completely better.
