OCC: If there is a disease I had an idea where they found a new herb that treats it?
The wind blew
-
She crushed them and mewed,"Eat these..."
-
Neondart looked at Splashstar, his eyes glassy. Splashstar was mainly old... not so much sick.
-
Dawnpaw walked over with some juniper berries,"He should have these, they will help."Splashstar glared at the medicine cat apprentice. "If you insist." he sighed, giving the berries a disgusted look. "May I eat in peace?" he asked, more of a demand than an offer. The tom pawed at the berries, dragging them closer to himself.
-
Neondart looked at Splashstar, walking away from the den, but still peeking on him. He was worried, still. At least he still has his temper...
-
The stocky male waited patiently for every cat to exit his den. When they did, Splashstar dug a small hole in the rich soil that encircled his den. He nudged the berries inside and covered it up. "You may enter again." he cued before lapping at his single-white paw.
-
Neondart nodded, and walked in silently. "Splashstar... are you sure your alright? You should probably rest," The deputy meowed worriedly.
-
"I've had enough rest, Neondart." he retorted, giving his deputy a hard stare. "Shouldn't you be doing something? With someone?" he asked, referring to Neondart's apprentice.
Coralpaw took a last, thoughtful bite from the trout she recently plucked from the 'kill pile. She really wasn't hungry, but it really was one of the only solutions for the strange emptiness in the pit of her stomach.
-
Neondart sighed, and dipped his head towards Splashstar. "Very well, leader," He meowed, and headed towards Coralpaw, to do some training with her.
-
Dawnpaw took a small mouse from the pile and skinned it.
-
Coralpaw's limelight yellow eyes flickered towards her mentor, relief suddenly flooding over her and engulfing her black pelt. Maybe some final training will help me get my mind off things. The young she-cat forced a smile to cross her black lips as he approached her. "Can we possibly do some final training?" she purred, rising to her feet and giving Neondart a greeting nuzzle.
-
She separated the meat from the bones and took a bite.
-
Splashstar staggered to his once-masculine legs, and he limped over to the announcement rock. His head sagged towards the earth, almost as if his neck was incapable to support it. "May all-" a coughing fit stopped his sentence. "-all cats old enough to catch their own prey..." he wheezed hoarsely. "gather under the turquoise stone for a c-c-clan meeting.." they called it the turquoise stone, because it had little chunks of turquoise etched deep into it. The tortoiseshell tom's stilt-like legs quivered slightly.
-
She looked up and concern crossed her face as she saw her leader so weak.
-
Splashstar waited patiently for all cats to gather.

Neondart smiled as he looked at the pretty, cheerful apprentice. He tried to take his mind off Splashstar. He looked at Coralpaw, and though she was covering it up well, he got the vibe that the cat was having... trouble with something. He frowned for a slit-second, and then looked at her. "Sure. It would be good to do some pre-final assessment work. Should we do battle, hunt, or patrol training first?" He asked her, putting on a fake smile.

(
Recap? Sorry.) -
Bummer. Coralpaw's ears pricked as Splashstar beckoned the clan cats to the announcement rock. She sighed. "I guess we have a meeting. We'll go later, I guess." she mewed, the disappointment obvious in her tone. Coralpaw began to trot towards the clearing where the Turquoise rock was, and she listened keenly.
Splashstar gathered up his energy to yell: "Gather now!" he yowled, a little bit intensely. His patience shrunk.
ooc: well, just come down for the meeting, Goldraptor.
-
Dawnpaw sat up and listened intently to the meeting.
