    Dawnflower could not help the smile that crossed her face as her sister challenged the loner. She rolled her eyes as Cloudfluff wagged his tail. It reminded her of a dog.

    Splashstar stood firmly, caramel-colored eyes swelling with pride as he overviewed his Clan from the tree-tops. His tortoiseshell pelt was well-groomed, and glittering with stars. A bittersweet grin crossed his flat muzzle as he padded up inaudibly and invisibly. "You are doing well, sweet kitten." he whispered kindly into the angular ear of Dawnflower's, then, he flitted over to Coralheart, his eldest daughter. "This is a choice you cannot pass up, my blooming blossom.. AlgaeClan will benefit from this decision." And as soon as he arrived, he had departed, disappearing in the breeze as it swept over the earth.

    Coralheart shuddered slightly, as if a breeze had swept through her ear and across her spine. She cleared her throat, resting her narrowed gaze on Fuji. "I will discuss you're fate here in AlgaeClan with our leader." and she padded away in the direction of the leader's den.

    Dawnflower couldn't resist a purr as she reached her neck up, as if to caress the wind. The scent of Splashstar surrounded her and she knew that once again, he was looking over Algaeclan. "Thanks dad." She murmured softly, as if to no one.

    Awepaw spat in disgust, glaring after the backs of the other cats. What? He had to admit, on a good day Cloudfluff was alright, but he definitely didn't think that he would be able to deal with this little fleabag. The brown tabby span around and padded from the camp, going toward the brook to see if there were any water-residing herbs growing by the bank. There was no hiding his annoyance, but since Coralheart had put her paw down on resorting on calling to the leader there was no going against her word. Well, don't expect him to not put as much effort into remembering his herbs when he healed the useless kittypet; there was nothing cited in the warrior code that made StarClan stop him from doing so.

    Fuji watched silently as the crowed dispersed and quickly padded over to Cloudfluff, her eyes gleaming with suspicion. "Haven't I seen you before?" She meowed, the tags on her pink, chewed up collar jingling as she moved. She suddenly became aware of her mud-covered fur and gave her chest a few quick licks, keeping her eyes on the tom in front of her.

    Dawnflower rubbed her paws together nervously, a habit she had developed. She wasn't sure that she exactly liked this kittypet.


    "Y-y-yes! I believe we have met!" Cloudfluff piped eagerly. He suddenly felt the bittersweet memories of his former housecat lifestyle, but he stopped himself from trailing on into longing desire. Your place is here now.. Cloudfluff reminded himself silently, and retreated back to his spot beside Dawnflower. Their pelts brushed gingerly against eachother, and he sighed happily. You wouldn't give this up, anyways.


    "What's your name?" he asked, with a bit of demand edging his voice unpurposely. Then, he caught himself, covering up the mistake in his tone by tilting his head to one side, his opposite ear drooping like a weeping willow tree. When in doubt..


    Look goofy.

    Fuji watched him for a moment, as if thinking something over. Finally, she smiled for the first time that day and meowed "My name is Fuji, it means something in human, but I dont know what."

    "Pleased to meet you. I'm Cloudfluff." Cloudfluff mewed in a friendly, but firm tone. He touched Dawnflower's cheek with his nose, as if to calm her down.


    It was obvious Dawnflower didn't like Fuji.

    She curled her tail over her paws and relaxed. Dawnflower would have to get over it, Fuji was most likely going to be accepted into the clan and with that, well, who knew what could happen.
