  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 465px; height: auto; text-align:justify;font-size:11px;]The deputy greatly disliked the recent changes to his clan. He was no fan of such leaps away from their traditional aspects. Voletail had come to SylvanClan in search for a clan like one he had grown up in. This StellarClan idea was awful, going against the Code itself.

Despite not being a fan of the enormous changes, the fawn tomcat would not be leaving the clan. He was the deputy here, and would not leave holding such a position. Willowstar had seemingly changed the clan to make it seem more appealing to some made-up grey area. Twilight warriors? Strange idea. Not to mention that the merge went through under all of their noses. He would have expected his mate to at least give them a quick notice. Just a little heads up. All he could do was pray that this change would eventually improve the clan.

Voletail was sitting in camp, just thinking over everything a second time. And a third. And a fourth. There were now three leaders. He knew that Willowstar meant well, but she always made such drastic decisions. The tom trusted her with his life, but sometimes he wished that she would at least take longer amounts of time before these things. Sighing, he laid down, paws tucked underneath him. At least the day was nice.

"Hello." Wistfulstar greeted, dipping her head to Voletail and sitting down beside him. she was attempting to be social, but it was hard to be social towards someone who was clearly being more than a little passive-aggressive. "how are you?"

Normally her mate was up, active, and productive... Not laying around doing nothing. "Everything alright?" The chocolate lynx point asked, raising an eyebrow with curiosity and concern.

The night-deputy looked up at the first cat to greet him. One of the leaders. He could not bring himself to smile at the sight of her. Wistulstar, just like Willowstar, had turned into some awful beast. Against StarClan, against the religion he was born and raised into. There was no way he could feel empathetic for the evil cats leading this previously traditional clan. They had destroyed everything, and Leafstar had started this horrid downward spiral.

"Hello there, Ma'am," he greeted, unusually brightly, despite clearly not being in the best of moods. Oh, how he disliked the she-cat in front of him. But he did not trust her enough to be honest. In fact, he had decided that he would never speak his thoughts to anyone who showed support towards the Dark Forest. Anyone who was against him and his family was not a friend of his.

Next up, Willowstar. His mate, whom he trusted just as little. She had corrupted his clanmates. Suddenly, no one believed in StarClan, and those who did had been exiled from the clan. He felt so alone. Voletail was not used to the feeling of being a hated minority. Throughout his life, he had only lived in clans where StarClan was the main religion.

Of course, he would throw in a couple lies, to make sure he looked satisfied enough. He did not know what the leaders discussed alone, so he trusted none of them. They could have been planning on finding any excuse to evict him from the clan.

"Hi, dear," he purred, giving her a nuzzle. It stung, to say such words to someone he no longer liked. But the solid fawn deputy knew that showing hostility towards his mate would only land him in a deeper pit. "Have you been well?"

Silverlinings. Someone he knew believed in StarClan and the Warriors Code. Also someone who was in the presence of two of the three leaders. Not a good time to talk. "And hello, Silverlinings."

"Anyways, there's not much to do around here," Voletail finally added, deciding that it would be best to be productive. "What do you say we go on a walk around the territory, just the four of us? Maybe more if thy really want to." It made him sound far more busy, which was exactly what he wanted.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 350px; text-align: justify; font-family: georgia;]bittersweet spotted the four talking together and being the conversation-interrupter that she was the femme trotted over. " hello , everyone . " she greeted, " what are you all talking about ? " the twilight deputy inquired with the slight tilt of her cranium.
