The only thing I wanted to do was to make her feel like she had never left home and make her feel comfortable living with a bunch of men on a ship. I would hate to make her feel un-happy for some reason. It might not be me, it might be the nerves getting to her but I always thought of the worst. We normally don't hang out on the main land very often!" I offered as I took her hand in mine and headed to the boat once more. Not worrying about the other lads and figuring they would find there way back to the boat before we left the dock in a few days.
Once back to the boat I held her onto the deck and gestured over to a hammock that hung in the front part of the boat. Just wanting to sit and talk to her for awhile. [font=andale mono][size=8][/fancypost][align=center]

I sighed as I leaned back and let my feet pull away from the floor and I let my body hover in the hammock over the deck. "I am scared of growing older. Or living on anything but a ship. I'm scared I'll run into my real parent's and they would be disappointed in me. Or that when I grow up I will not have anything to leave behind in this world other than a ship and a few patchy memories." I spoke softly as I closed my eyes and felt the hot sun on my skin. Brushing the hair out of her eyes and sighing I whipped a tear from her delicate cheeks. "I promise no one will hurt you when I am around...I will not let them." I said softly as I kissed her again. Feeling her hot lips against mine as I seemed to melt like butter to her touch.
But it was true, I would never let anyone hurt her while she was with me. I felt like it was my duty now to protect her. Being the oldest kid in the orphanage I seemed to assume that role, along with being a Captain. It was my job to take care of people and I loved it. Sure I probably wouldn't like to watch children because of living in an orphanage with bratty kids. [font=andale mono][size=8][/fancypost][align=center]

I didn't know what the man had done but I knew it would have to be something bad. "I swear on my life, that I will do everything in my power to keep you safe. If that means doing something I don't want to. Because I do not want to see you ever hurt by anyone...I promise." I promised over and over and I swore on it. I kept telling myself that if I ever went back on this promise I would probably kill myself over the grief that I caused her and the terror.PLOT IDEA!!
Ok, so he just said he would protect her. How about something happens at one of the ports of the girl they meet (his friend, to lazy to look back at her name.) And hearing her say those 3 words no one had ever said to me, it felt amazing. "You know your the first person to ever say that to me..." I said softly with a small chuckle. It was true, no one ever told you they loved you when you were an orphan. Even if you were adopted you knew they didn't mean it, it was more or less pity on your part that made them say it.
"I love you too..." I whispered as I kissed her soft lips with mine. And to say it back and know that the person on the other end would appreciate it was amazing. It seemed like time had stopped and everything was still.
Then I heard a large crash and the sound of voices and foot steps filled my eyes. Shooting up I saw the royal guard from her home kingdom running down the docs to the ship. Knowing I couldn't get the ship out to sea in time I grabbed her and pushed her towards my quarters. "Hide! Don't come out until I come find you." My voice stern as I saw my crew running behind the guys, coming to aid me in battle.
Grabbing my sword from under the hammock I hoped she wouldn't watch or she would see a side of me I would never want her to. [font=andale mono][size=8][/fancypost][align=center]

Go hide and lock the doors!" I would keep my promise, I would protect her and live or die making sure she didn't have to go back to that tower that she hated.
Hearing her suitor say this I shook my head and held my sword out. "Your advance technology dos not scare me. And I will never hand back the Princess and let her go back to be your wife and sit inside all day just to please you!" My voice stern and strong as we had all gathered on the boat and I saw my crew push the boat from the dock and send us out to sea. There were two ways to get off, jump and swim, or die. I yelled at him before I lunged myself into the fight and heard the yell of my guys as they started fighting. The sounds of gunshots and the sounds of guns hitting the metal of the sword. When I heard her scream my attention turned to her and I ran across the deck and hit on of the guys, aiming a stab to the chest, a hit that would probable kill him almost instantly. Grabbing his gun off of the ground I pointed it at the other men and pulled the trigger, feeling the blood from my sword cake my hands. [font=andale mono][size=8][/fancypost][align=center]

Putting my hands up above my head, but I wasn't going to give up that easy. I was a pirate for gosh sacks. As soon as they would start to leave that's when I would grab one of the weapons with my foot and kill the prince.
