I looked up at him as he caressed my cheek and then pushed my hair behind my ear. I exhaled. I followed him as he led me to where I was to sleep and I smiled softly as I saw the hammocks. I giggled and jumped into mine, laying my head back as my blonde hair fanned around me. My blue eyes opened and met his as I smiled sweetly. "I already love it here." I laughed as I sat up, my feet dangling close to the floor but not quite touching it.

Smiling as my mud brown eyes caught a glimpse of her beautiful blue eyes, she was just so perfect. Not because she was a Princess but because she was a women, a women of such grace and wonder. Chuckling softly as I sat up myself and looked over at her. "You learn to love it here, I've lived on this ship for..." I stopped to think for a minute. Smiling as I titled my head to the side so it rested on the rope as I hung onto it. "I am smiling at you Princess because you are the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes upon." Feeling the words flow out of my mouth like a long piece of silk, smooth. Going over to her hammock I sat next to her and brushed the hair out of her eyes and gently touched her shoulder. "Your eyes are the color of the ocean, a crystal blue that take me to a place I love. Your hair the color of the sun, pulled from the rays and strung into tiny pieces that lay on your head..." I felt the air leave my lungs as he said I was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes upon. I looked at him with sparkling blue eyes as he described my features in exquisite detail, from my blue eyes, to my golden hair, to my soft ivory skin. I shivered as his lips grazed my bare skin on my shoulder and I looked down at him, my cheeks glowing as my eyes met his. I gulped as my heart raced. "Just follow me." I smiled as I looked into her eyes. "Close your eyes..." I said one last time before I lead her to the very front of the boat. "Open them." I said softly as I looked out into the sea and bit my lip as I looked back at her. The sky was clear and stars dotted the dark night like holes in a sheet. The way the full moon reflected off of the waves made it seem like the lights where dancing with the water. I closed my eyes like he had told me too and giggled, taking his hand as he led me onto the deck. Then, I was told to open my eyes after walking for a few moments and I slowly opened my eyes. I gasped as my heart skipped a beat. "Wow..." I whispered, in awe. I smiled widely and laughed as I looked around with wide eyes. I had never seen the world outside of my tower before, much less like this. This was... the most beautiful thing I had seen. Tears swelled in my eyes, reality hitting me. I was finally free. After all these years of being locked in a tower. I laughed a little, happy tears rolling down my ivory cheeks. I sighed, closing my eyes as I let the breeze flow through my blonde hair.

Watching her and the sea I kind of smiled when she began to cry tears of happiness. I remember the first time the previous captain brought me out here. It was my first night and I had come on board and we had set sail, I was about 12 and while I was standing out here you could say I broke down. I wasn't sad I guess but angry, angry at my parent's for not keeping me. Angry that I never found a family and that no body wanted me, he told me that night that I had found a family. My family was here on this ship and that has never been truer. These guys are like my brothers, we all watch out for each other no matter what. I let out a scream, trying to release some of the anger that had been pent up inside of me all these years. I had been locked away by my own parents and had learned nothing of the world that I craved to explore. My only friends were the sunrise and the mice that would scurry about my tower. I was alone... All of my life. And now, suddenly I wasn't. I cried softly and gulped, turning around suddenly and hugging Derek. I hugged him so tightly that I thought I might hurt him. I cried softly into his shoulder and sniffled.

Bending down I lit a small fire in a pit like area and placed a kettle pot over it. Grabbing a glass bottle with some water in it as I dumped the water into the already hot pot.
