That was quick XD
-
Kiara started to stir from her sleep that she badly needed at that time. Her hand going to her eyes to chase away the sand man. As she started to move around she could feel someone holding onto her waist instantly she started to blush. It was Arnou she knew that but she wasn't expecting him to be in his vampire form she clearly remembers him being a fox when they went to bed.
-
Arnou could feel something slightly move in the bed, and he slightly peeked his eyes open. He noticed Kiara's back, and he gave it a questionable look. But he then noticed his arm was wrapped around her waste, as he had shifted into a human again. Arnou's eyes widened and he freaked out, causing him to fall out of the bed, and land on the cold floor.
-
Kiara turned over blushing as she looked down at him on the floor, but she quickly started to giggle. "Well good morning to you Arnou." She said to him as she sat up in the bed, the laughing made her stop blushing can't be embarrassed when you aren't the one that falls out of the bed now.
-
Arnou was lightly rubbing his head, and blushed. All the sudden movements caused a bunch of blood to run to his head. He lightly groaned and slumped back onto the bed, turning so he was sitting on the same side as Kiara. "Good morning..." He lightly grumbled, still shocked of what just all happened. He smirked, hearing her laugh.
-
Kiara still had a slightly giggle going but she quickly shook it away. " Hope you're alright now...I was surprised to wake up to a man not a fox myself" she turned slightly so she could look at him better without hurting her neck to much.
-
Arnou rolled his eyes, "I'm feeling fine now. And it's hard to keep yourself a fox all night when your mind is in the clouds." He smirked towards her. He found Kiara comforting, and her smile warm. He pulled his head back, and looked up at the ceiling. Arnou's eyes glazed over, as questions and thoughts fogged his mind.
-
Kiara watched him for amoment as he spaced out. She waved her hand above his head to get his attention. " Earth to Arnou....What's wrong?" Only someone that is thinking to much spaces out, normally they are thinking of that there is something wrong. Kiara was hoping she didn't make a mistake as to letting him in the camp after all.
-
Arnou snapped back into reality, and blinked a couple of times before he looked over at Kiara, "Sorry... I'm just worried. I'm not sure what I'm worried about, but I'm worried about something." He slightly frowned, and looked down at the ground. He was confused at his own thoughts, trying to unscramble them.
He sighed and shook his head, noticing nothing was going to help, "Do you have any food? I'm starving!" He groaned towards her, trying to change the subject. -
Kiara smiled " I understand completely..I'm still questioning myself if I did the right thing allowing a vampire into the camp." She looked away for a moment thinking to herself before turning back. " Let's see, well I can take you to the kitchen and let you choose something to eat...we only get 2 meals a day here to space out the food as much as possible so you can have one of mine. It's motored very closely so feeding an extra mouth would be picked up."
-
Arnou just looked at her as she spoke. He just shook his head. But stopped, "What- no! You need all the nutrition! You could easily just take me to the edges of the 'camp' of yours and I can go catch something real quick. And I'd be back in less than 20 minutes, fed." Arnou argued her. He didn't want to take her food from her, especially if there is only two meals a day.
-
Kiara just shook her head. "It's alright really. I'm used to it. I normally only eat once a day, I normally give my second meal to someone else anyway...I guess you can say I feel obligated to do so as the leader." Kiara leaned back using her arms as support with a bit of sigh. "It's not a role I truly didn't want but at the time I had no choice everyone seemed to look up to me for some reason."
-
Arnou smiled, "Yeah, for some reason." He could think of multiple reasons right off the bat, and he has only known her for a couple of days. He was still sitting on the bed, and ran his hand through his hair.
-
"Anyway let's get you something to eat." Kiara sat up looking to Arnou. "If you change you can follow me to the kitchen and pick out what you want, I can also show you around if you like." She stood up finally stretching her arms high above her head for a moment.
-
Arnou smiled towards Kiara and stood from where he was sitting. "That would be lovely." He kindly said, shifting into a fox. His feet carried him to the door, and as he jumped onto his hind legs, his red eyes looked back at Kiara. Arnou jumped back down, and patiently waited for her to finish stretching.
-
When Kiara finished she walked over to the door opening it slowly. She actually peaked out looking both ways making sure no one was up yet roaming the halls. Seeing no one she walked out and started for the kitchen. "Normally no one is up this early except the guards, I just don't want the kids seeing you and thinking you're some kinda new toy for them to play with." Kiara gave a little laugh. When she got to the cafeteria doors she opened them for Arnou.
-
Arnou lightly cringed, thinking of the human kids petting him and treating him as if he was some sort of animal.
Oh wait.Arnou skidded after her, all you could hear as they walked down the hall was the light thud and scrape from the two walking. Arnou slipped into the kitchen before Kiara got in, and examined the small square space. -
Kiara followed in afterward, shutting the door slowly behind her. She walked past the table and chairs that at one time was used by students but now are used by survivors. The place was empty of life but the two of them as they walked up to the back where the kitchen was. The pantries were full of canned foods, there were some fruit but not much, surprisingly there was some jerky but not the kind you bought of the store shelves no this was made by the survivors out of hogs and deers they have killed. " There's a little bit of everything, morning time most just eat small stuff, dinner we eat whatever the hunters have managed to find and kill. Normally that's a hog, there's tons of them around here."
-
Arnou rolled his eyes, "Give me anything that has at least some hint of blood, and I'll be happy." His voice was a little grim, knowing it was probably weird to be talking about that. If she didn't have an ounce of blood on anything, he would be forced to eat some of the canned foods. But he wouldn't mind the extra protein. He shifted back into a human checking his surrounds as he was actually tall enough to see over.
In his normal state, he was almost three inches taller than Kiara and it made him smile as he looked down upon her.
