    It was an oddly sunny day today- and he didn't like it. It was just too hot for him to be out and about right now, and he simply didn't want to burn his pawpads on the rocks. As such, he was sitting under a lovely ledge just outside of the camp, pondering if he should go swimming and try to catch a fish to throw at Hakunakit some time. Staring at the nearby pile of twigs in a small area of ground without grass, he willed them to move. Nothing happened- he paused, doing it again. It still didn't work. He wasn't exactly sure if that was a power, anyways.


    Sighing, he stood up and held his head low, beginning to creep towards the twigs. With a single horribly timed swipe, he knocked over the pile with a cheerful grin. That couldn't be as hard as catching fish, right? Quite suddenly, one of the twigs caught fire- not from the heat, but from someone using Elemental powers without meaning to. With a loud, high-pitched kitten screech, Reconnaissancekit turned around and darted away, before hiding behind a rock as he stared at the moderately controlled fire from a distance, tempted to reach out and poke it. Luckily he wasn't that stupid, but that doesn't mean he wasn't prepared to dart away.

    That was never a good sound to hear. Arcade rushed over, catching sight of the fire before the kitten that his from it. Luckily, there was no blood. Burns? He was always prepared for the worst. "Reconnaissancekit? Right? What happened?" He found no reason for a fire to be so terrifying. Unless, of course, the kit was scared of fire.

    "Rec?" Chi asked a bit worriedly to herself as she heard her brother's unmistakable scream. Making her way towards the source of the scream, Chi began to smell smoke. Oh no. She went as fast as her little legs would take her and eventually saw the burning pile of twigs. "Rec!" She said loudly, not finding her brother. He wasn't a part of that burning pile, was he? Spotting him behind a rock, she let out a small breath she hadn't even known she was holding in. She also noticed someone else she couldn't put a name to there. Not really knowing hat to do, Chi simply hoped everyone was okay.

    [color=#885ead]"A-a fire just randomly started! L-like, without reason!"     He stated, pointing over at the fire with one paw. He had no burns- it was simply because he was scared of fire. Every time he saw it.. he just felt like he was being burnt to death, but not even having touched it or gotten near it. He didn't know why at the time- but this was his first encounter with fire. Well, uncontrolled. He had sworn he could have seen and felt it before- but he just didn't know where or why. Hearing his sister's cry, he pinned his ears. [color=#885ead]"K-keep away from the fir-re! It migh-ht try to harm you.. o-or something!"     He commented, looking fearful.

    "hakunakit to the rescue! wee-woo-wee-woo-wee-woo!" hakunakit came sprinting in with a maw-full of damp moss dangling from his jaws, having caught scent of the fire way before he even knew the cause of it. I mean, he did not even know that his brother, sister, and the awesome arcade were around when he came through. the tabby tom kit began to swat at the small flame with the damp moss, hoping that it would be enough to put it out. whether or not the moss idea worked, he soon noticed that he had an audience. "hey reconnaissance, chi, and arcade! what happened with this whole fire thing? I could smell it all the way from the lake."

    [justify]Chi shrugged, and repeated Rec's words, "We don't know. It just randomly started," She was extremely confused, as she supposed everyone else was. A fire couldn't just start, could it? It wasn't that hot outside. Had someone caused it? Chi truly had no idea. Realized her brother had come with moss that put out the fire, she smile, "Thanks Hakuna," She said.
