  • [fancypost bgcolor=; border:0px; width: 450px; font-size: 8pt;text-align:justify; line-height: 120%] (for some reason, i found this prompt really well-fit and slightly ironic for jinora, since she is based off an airbender from The Legend of Korra, and her life has been anything but a breeze.)

Maybe a breeze isn't always...maybe it isn't always what it the definition says it is. Sure, when someone says 'breeze,' everybody thinks of a gentle, blowing wind, or that stupid phrase 'easy breezy lemon squeezy' (it's the dumbest phrase I've ever heard). People think of wind chimes and dandelion seeds, and nice walks along the beach. Sometimes they think of a breeze as a level of difficulty.

And yeah, breezes can be nice and gentle and soothing. You could always go with that. And maybe, just maybe, that's all breezes will ever be to you. But, like everybody, even a breeze has a little bit of evil in it.

Now, I'm not saying a breeze would try to take over the world. That's someone else's job. Hitler, for one, if you want to get into human history. Breezes certainly aren't strong enough to rip a roof off your house or overturn a car, but a breeze can ruin your day by messing up your hair. It can blow all of your papers away, or lose your spot in a good book (it's happened to me several times). It can slap you in the face with a newspaper, and occasionally, turn your umbrella inside out.

A lot of people reading this are thinking that I'm taking this prompt too literally. They think that I'm supposed to take it in a metaphorical way, not explain the stupid aspects of a gust of air.

    I've got news for you.

    I'm not taking it literally.

My point in my needless explaining happened to be that not everything is, in a nutshell, 'a breeze.' Everything has a dark side. That was also another one of my accidentally-put-into-my-lecture points. Including my own life.

Now, I'm not going to complain a bunch and say 'oh, my life sucks! i have absolutely nothing and nobody, and everybody i know keeps leaving me...' I don't do that. Plus, not all of that is even true.

Maybe I never met my parents, and maybe I left my only sister to travel a little bit. Maybe I don't have any worldly possessions because I see no use in them. Maybe my best friend, my soul-friend, if you will, died and left me. But I've put mom and dad, Stolenpaw, and CaraLynn behind me. Want to know why?

Because I have a new family. Sammy, Cain, Cair, Lady, Malkyn, Clinton -- even if she hates me --, Diffy, Reflectingpaw, Icepaw -- all of TidalClan. And, hell, it might sound sappy, but I couldn't care less. I really couldn't.

Despite my little dark pieces of time in my life, I think the pros outweigh the consequences in my situation. And I'm glad. Maybe a breeze can be evil, but I think that the best way to keep moving forward in life is to continuously look at the bright side of the breeze.
