  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]The tiger cub could be found lumbering around the catacombs. Occasionally he stopped, distracted, to chase his tail around for a few moments before continuing on. He had no particular goal in mind, just a simple, childish, curiosity.

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]Uma's short, thin legs carried him through the halls of the catacombs. The small domestic feline's ears were pressed against his skull as his baby-blue eyes focused on the floor in front of his paws, deep in thought. He didn't notice his son, Dakota, since he had been too drawn in by his thoughts of stress and guilt.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Dakota didn't imminently recognize the approaching figure, not used to Uma's new body. Soft, rounded ears perked up, he watched him for a moment before his amber eyes brightened. "Dad!" he called, tail waving from side to side as he bounded over to the domestic feline. He tried to pull him into hug, wrapping his forelegs around his neck.

I feel so bad for not posting much with this guy school's been sapping all my muse. ;-; I'm so sorry. But i should be be able to post regularly with him now.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; text-align: justify; overflow: auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][size=8]Uma was slightly startled at the sudden voice, automatically jumping. But when his pale eyes fell upon Dakota, they softened and he accepted the embrace, hugging the slightly larger cub back. "Hey, Koda." He murmured softly, tail flicking as he pulled away from the hug. "How are you?"

    no problem!!!

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]A purr rose into his throat as he fell back down onto his rump. "You're so small now!" he pointed out. It was weird. He curled his tail around his paws, remembering that question that he had just been asked. "I'm good," he answered cheerfully, "This place is so big, I wish I had started exploring earlier!"

    thank you <3

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]Uma's ears lowered slightly at the statement. He was smaller, and far more vulnerable. The fact that he could be easily killed now slightly frightened him. He didn't want his children to lose one of their parents.. Uma's eyes brightened at the words, and he nodded his head in agreement. "Don't stray too far, though. Some parts of the catacombs are a little bit unstable. We don't want you getting hurt, okay?"

    <3

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]"Okay," he responded dutifully, ears lowering as though he was being scolded. Though he probably wouldn't pay much attention to his father's advice anyway. Having lived such a sheltered life so far, the idea of danger seemed foreign to him. If he stopped his wandering, it would more likely be because of laziness.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]The sensitive cub slowly lifted his ears back up as he realized that he wasn't in trouble, face suddenly brightening again. "Yep!" he said, bouncing back up onto his paws, excitement clear in his voice. There were still so many places left to explore, and surely he could go to the more interesting corners of their territory now that his dad was with him. "Where are we going?" he asked, "Outside? A secret tunnel?"

Could I make a weekly tasks thread?? Giving out tasks that would make good open threads might help improve activity plus I've always secretly wanted to make one. Unless you or Eskie are already planning to. ^^

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]Uma nodded softly at the first guess, his small, pale paws carrying him to the entrance and out into the forest. The sky was clear, but the weather was slightly chilly, a breeze occasionally causing his fur to ruffle slightly. The small male then turned his soft eyes to Dakota, smiling. "Do you like it here, Koda?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Dakota shivered slightly as they walked out into the breeze, looking around for any sunlight filtering through the canopy. He had only been outside a few times, and it was slowly starting to loose its magic. The forest was still nice, but it was becoming familiar. He ducked his head to chew at the grass, enjoying the strange taste. When Uma spoke, he lifted his head again and turned to look at him. He tilted his head to the side, trying to understand what he meant. He could only assume that his father meant the woods around them, because the idea of not liking the place he had lived in all his life seemed impossible to the cub. Others might find living in a cave surrounded by skeletons weird, or creepy, but it was normal to him. "It's nice out here, but I like the catacombs better," he answered, "Except for the flowers! We should get some in the cave!" He had yet to understand how flowers worked, it seemed, though it would probably be possible with the right powers.

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]Uma smiled softly at the response, before turning and looking away. He certainly adored his son and his way of thinking. As the duo walked, Uma suddenly froze, moving out a paw to stop Dakota from moving. Ears perked and eyes slightly widened, he stayed silent, before a crack of a twig sounded to their right. His eyes turned, and he watched as a full grown tiger slipped out of the shadows. They stank of rogue, and their eyes were wild and crazed. Uma aimed to push Dakota back, his eyes darkening with protectiveness. 'Koda, stay behind me.'

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Dakota didn't immediately notice something was wrong, almost walking straight into his dad's outstretched leg. He tripped over his own paws at the sudden stop, ending up back on his rump again. The cub opened his mouth to object to their stopping, but then he heard the sharp sound of a snapping twig. He whipped his head around to the right, eyes wide with curiosity and leaning forwards to peer through the undergrowth, no fear yet.

Then his gaze rested on the rouge. For a brief moment, he thought that his must be his other father, Bane. Or maybe it was Moran. But when the tiger stepped out into the light, Koda immediately knew that this wasn't anyone from their clan. He felt a shudder pass through him, like that time he had seen Ouijaboad summoning demons. The cub let himself get bundled back behind his father, frozen like a deer caught in the headlights of the older tiger's wild eyes. He pressed his ears down against his head. A horrible, rumbling growl rose in the rouge's throat, not like any sound he had heard his fathers make. He whimpered.

    it's fine!
    sure, i'll check with them

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]Uma's muscles were tensed, and the moment the rogue took a step forward, Uma launched himself at him. Body morphing whilst he was in the air, he was now the white tiger from his last body. Eyes becoming ice-cold with rage as he collided with the tiger, their bodies a mass of fur and growls as the tackled on the ground. Uma was pinned down, lips drawn back in a snarl as the tiger pressed a law against his throat. The feeling of claws pricking his flesh caused his ears to press against his skull and he snarled. 'Dakota, run!'

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Dakota had wanted nothing more than to run away back to the safety of the catacombs as soon as the rouge had appeared, but it felt like every muscle in his body had been frozen. All he could do was watch, terrified, as the two tigers wrestled. It was seeing his father getting pushed down into the ground that snapped him out of it, but he was still too scared to run. He just wanted it all to go away. "L-let go of him!" he cried out desperately, voice trembling, "Leave us alone!" He shuddered as he felt the rouge's wild eyes turn to him. The distraction could give Uma an opportunity to wrestle free, but if he wasn't quick enough the rouge could soon be upon the cub.

  • [fancypost bordercolor=transparent; width: 500px auto;cursor: url(http://cur.cursors-4u.net/cursors/cur-9/cur817.cur),auto;][justify]The moment the rogue turned away, leaving him vulnerable, Uma kicked him in the stomach with his hind-legs, causing the rogue to stumble. Uma pinned him down, eyes darkening as he snarled, lifting one paw and suddenly swiping it, leaving four long scratches across the tiger's face. It cried out under him, and scrambled out of his grasp before running off. Blood trickled from the deep claw marks on his neck, and he breathed in heavily. That was definitely the last time he would be able to use this body. With a soft huff, his shifted back to his original body, the wounds disappearing as he lowered himself to lay on the ground in exhaustion.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 430px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Dakota's eyes widened as he watched Uma shrink back down into his domestic feline body and collapse. The cub slowly approached him, hesitation in his every pawstep. It was the first time he had seen his dad fight, the first time he had seen anyone fight. Gratefulness and appreciation for the way he had protected him would come later, now he was still shivering and terrified. "D-dad," he said softly, "are you okay?"
