    Kandri
Kandri raised an eyebrow, then swallowed his large bite of the energy bar after speeding up his chewing so he could speak--Despite the apocalypse, Kandri still kept at least a small portion of his manners by not talking with his mouth full.(Really, Kan?)
"What, why? That's...quite a long time from here, you know. Is your family there or something?" He asked, then took another bite of the energy bar, awaiting Len's response. Kandri then made sure everything was in place, then moved forward, passing Len and stopped when he reached the opposite side of the roof's ledge. There weren't that many zombies below, fortunately, and the next rooftops were in jumping range, but some of them looked like they'll be pretty tough too cross. Kandri narrowed his eyes, while straining too see in more detail. Ugh, the cracked shades got pretty annoying, but he never wanted anyone, especially Len, too find out his disturbing eye color, having been harsnly teased about it when he was very young. He wore shades ever since.

  • Len looked a little uncomfortable with this question and nodded slowly, he looked over at you. His eyes flickered a little. Thinking of his sister gave him a headache. "So..Do you have anyone else with you?" He asked curiously as he took some stuff out of his own bag. He set his glasses off to the side and looked at them for a moment before looking back into his bag. Len realized that he had probably better be going.. "We better go if we are going? Is it far?" He asked after you finished your answer before.

    Kandri
"Nah. I'm pretty much alone. And...alright, I guess...." He sighed. "And I'm not sure. I haven't been travelling all that long..." He straightened, and when he exhaled softly again his body shuddered violently, while the tension slowly bled out of him after exhaling.
    ((Rushed, sorry))

  • Len grinned his teeth nervously, he couldn't waste this much time when his should be trying to get to his sister. He closed his bag again and crossed his arms "W-well... I kind of need to go.. I know I said I would go but... It's kinda out of the way..." He muttered as he slipped his bag on his arm and getting ready to leave. Len needed food, but he needed to get to his sister.. He looked over the edge of the roof and decided where to go.

    Kandri
The blonde nodded stiffly, silently pondering, and ended up kneeling absentmindedly, while his teeth worked on his lower lip nervously. "..." He didn't respond for a good while, until he actually came too realize Len that he had too at least leave the area, before night fell and all h*ll would break loose on the streets. Kandri remembered travelling at nighttime once, when his temporary shelter was broken down. It was so horrifying, and it really had been an incredible and almost impossible miracle that he survived, only with multiple bruises and a couple of still healing scratches from risky and reckless actions too avoid getting bitten as torrents of zombies poured toward him, his screeches of terror muffled by their obnoxious moans and growls...
Kandri shook his head. He needed too get his head out of the clouds, or at least out of the insufferable memories. The male then turned back too Len, his expression unreadable but in his eyes, which were concealed by his shades, were glinted with anxiety. "I don't care if it's "out of the way", and I'm trying not sound clingy and desperate here, but I don't." Kandri grunted, shaking his head again in an attempt to clear it, knowing he probably sounded a bit sharp, there. He had developed a habit of shaking his head every now and then in order to "clear his mind", or so he believed. He stood up, taking out his blades and stared at one of them for a moment, then turning back too Len.

  • Len didn't say anything as you spoke, he narrowed his eyes and turned and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He started to walk to the edge of the other side of the roof and looked at the other roofs. "Well its pointless for me to stay here.. So I am leaving." He muttered as he set a foot on the other rooftop to test it, it seemed sturdy so he moved along, pondering whether or not you would say anything else. He didn't feel the need to worry about you though, you lasted this long, why not longer? Len also hated the fact that you wore those annoying sunglasses, he didn't know why but they just bothered Len, they seemed so annoying and unhelpful.

    Kandri
The blonde looked at as Len began too move across the other roof, and he readjusted his shades and Kandri looked behind him, in the distance. He couldn't see much since the roof was so low, but he looked to another side, and stared at the sun for a moment, which hurt his eyes even with sunglasses on. Since his eyes were red, due to the fact that he was albino. Kandri actually flinched visibly and instantly averted his gaze, then took a running start and jumped onto the next roof Len was on, ran past him, and then stopped when he was at the other edge, testing the next roof with his foot to make sure it was sturdy. After slowly leaning his weight onto the building without falling, and recklessly jumped on that roof as well, with a soft thud.
