    Ah, yes, that time again when mayoi would cause an explosion. She'd get some random chemicals, mix them together, and cause an utter catasrophe. this time, it was with vinager, baking soda, raccoon dung, and gunpowder, along with a lighter. Mayoi set it on a vast gravelly area, so no forest catches fire.

Riddler had never had any hands-on experience with any real science, though he had run a few basic experiments on his own back at the library, and had, of course, read up some on the subject. Glancing at the other feline, he pushed his glasses up his face before, carefully, looking over her concoction from a slight distance, not entirely trusting of it. "Vinegar, gunpowder, and... he listed, sniffing the air between each word as he picked out the easy scents. Wrinkling his nose a little, he looked back to the she, not feeling like he should mention the other smell he picked out. If he was intruding on her experiment, he didn't notice - as usual, he was too caught up in the impulses of the moment.

    "Good afternoon, potential hamster!" mewed mayoi to riddlerspaw in greeting. she'd already readied the mixture in a beaker, and all she needed was to burn it to see if the results positively affected society. if not, well, there was always next tuesday.
    "How would you like to witness the discovery of the century?" the felidae was acting like some sort of advertisement guy on television now. "I have already cooked up my masterpiece that will shape our destiny! Now, we ignite the solution with the spark representing the future or something inspiring like that!" mused the insane child, lighting the horrid creation so it burst to flames. knowing the majority of her expiriments turned out horrendously (and still being stupid enough to try again), she took a few step back to see if it doesn't explode.
    not knowing the affects of gunpowder, since it was a rarity to her, she thought it would bring benefit to her works. sadly, it just doesn't work that way.

Choosing not to comment on that - he'd deal with that if it became relevant later - Riddlerspaw stepped back, so he stood away from the beaker and closer to Mayoi. "It would be my privelage," he meowed humorously with a sideways grin, sweeping into a momentary bow. He found Mayoi rather amusing so far, even though he hadn't even caught her name in whatever previous reactions they had.
