    "Goldenheart is no longer here," A voice quiet and soft. From the depths of the dark cleft in the rock emerged Wishingwell, Goldenheart's apprentice at one time and now the new Medicine Cat. "I will help." She stretched her crippled leg and got ready to make a dash for the nursery.

    Then she turned around and sprinted out of the medicine cats den, leading Wishingwell to the queen. Her heart pounded in her ears, as all she could do was hope that she got the medicine cat there in time.
