Ceres let out a little yelp when Kalen suddenly picked her up. Though she quickly got over it wrapping her arms around him letting him carry her up stairs she giggling on the way up. When Kalen finally set her down on the bed, she quickly grabbed him by the hand. " Stay with me."

Kalen smiled,"If you wish." He replied, sitting on the end of the bed. "I'll stay." He said, smiling happily.

Ceres smiled to him before laying down curling up on her side. She was looking at him from the corner of her eyes. " Lay with me Kalen. I rest easier when you hold me please."

Kalen blushed,"Uh...okay?" He said as he crawled up the bed and lay beside her, he took her hand and held it. He lay facing her, "This isn't awkward at all..." He said, still blushing.

Ceres smiled to him when laid down next to her taking her hand into his. " It's awkward to you but not to me. It's very comforting to me. I'm able to relax easier knowing you're right here next to me." Ceres leaned forward just enough to kiss him on his lips before laying her head back down shutting her eyes. " I'm sorry I make you uncomfortable all the time."

Kalen chuckled, "It's not you, it's me. I'm demon, i'm not used to embraces, that sorta thing." He said, as he lay down beside her,"I'm loyal though, i mean it, i won't leave your side." He said.

Ceres smiled laughing slightly " And I'm human and that's what I crave for. Being held tightly and the random kisses. We're complete opposites in that aspect."

Kalen smiled softly,"Who's saying i don't crave it?" He said, he blushed slightly as he said it, but, he really meant it.

Ceres opened one eye to look at him. "Then hold me, if you want." Actually she gave him no choice she moved closer to him nuzzling up to him getting herself more comfortable.

Kalen held her close and kissed her forehead,"Sleep now, you need it." He said in a smooth, soothing voice.

Ceres nodded with a smile upon her lips even though Kalen couldn't see it.Over time she did fall back to sleep snuggled up to Kalen.

Kalen soon fell alseep, with Ceres in his arms.

(Few weeks)
Ceres was down stairs in the kitchen cooking away she figured she would surprise him with his favorite. Blueberry pancakes, she did promise him she would make them once she was feeling like her old self again. Well today was that day.

Kalen was still upstairs, resting but he soon woke up to the smell of something wonderful. He didn't realise how close to the edge of the bed he was and ended up falling out of it. "Ouch." He hissed as he stood up and rubbed his head where he banged it. He smiled softly and went downstairs to where Ceres was making something, "Mmmm, pancakes!" He exclaimed happily as he walked up to her.

Ceres looked over her shoulder at him smiling. She was still in the middle of cooking a few more so she wasn't about to leave them to burn to go run over to him and hug him like she normally did. " Yep and they have blueberries in them too."

Kalen whooped,"Yay!" He said excitedly as he came up behind her and watched her cook them. "They look so good! I bet they taste good!" He exclaimed happily.

Ceres started to laugh " I think in your case anything berry related would taste good to you Kalen."

Kalen smiled,"Oh yes, thank you!" He thanked happily, he whooped again, "They just look and smell so good! How do you cook like this?!" He asked, he then made a face like this "o-o" "Teach me your skills Sensei." He joked.
