  • Hullo! This thread is based on the Soulmate AU, which I think is absolutely adorable. It's only WIP because I'm not sure which variation to do. I'll explain the three I'd really like to do.

1* From the time a child turns five years old, they can no longer see colors. They live their lives, only being able to see black, white, and grey. This happens to everyone. The only way to regain the ability to see colors is to look your soulmate in the eye. The moment you look said person in the eyes, the world changes. Colors, unexplainable to these people, brighten up their whole entire life. And in the middle, shining the brightest, is the person their destined to be with forever.

2* At some point in a person's life, words write themselves on their wrist. These words are the first words you hear from your soulmate. It doesn't matter who speaks first, if the first things you say to each match what's on your wrists, you are soulmates.

3* (This one is quite similar to the one above) At a random point in a person's life, letters will start appearing somewhere on your body. These letters continue to appear, they might not be in order, until they finally spell out the name of you soulmate. You are destined to meet each other, even if it seems impossible. So don't give up hope! Love conquers all.

So, yeah! If you're interested, please tell me which one you'd like to do. I'm hoping to play a girl, so I'd prefer your character to be a guy. If you can't do guys, I may consider switching genders.

    Thanks! SouthernCheesecake

  • Sounds good to me. To be honest, the second variation is my favorite, so I'm glad you like it. I guess all we need to do know is pair up our characters and figure out what they'll say to each other. Thanks for joining! :)

  • Would it be okay if my charries are cousins? I don't know, it just might give the couples a reason to occasionally interrract with each other. Anyway, I'm making a quick personality thingy right now.

  • Hunter James Gronert
Hunter has a playful sense of humor. He is no prankster, nor one to organize things, but he loves to go along with people and have fun. He is the type of person to dance as though no one were watching. He is a shy extrovert, loving to be around people, but not always able to engage in conversation without others starting it.He is sweet, and thoughtful, often giving small gifts to friends when such things catch his eye. . He is what could be called gullible, he tends to see only the best in people. When asked to do something, he can be surprisingly mature, especially when it comes to this friends.

    Reagan Jenessa Gronert
Reagan is a very stubborn girl. She wont be the one to first apologize in an argument. But, she's also very protective of her friends and family. She has a habit of trying to enlighten the situation no matter how serious or joking it really is. She can be very serious if she needs to and is quite the daredevil among the others. She is very talkative and bubbly and won't shut up. When people ask her what she likes to do, she always gets tongue-tied. She loves to dance and draw, but when people ask for her to show them, and she gets embarrassed.

  • Love 'em! Here's mine:

    Asher Henry North

Asher is sort of a typical jock, someone who loves sports and is quite athletic. He's very energetic and easily excited. Asher tends to be a 'chick magnet', so he is usually seen flirting with pretty girls . He's also a bit of a jokester, and loves to see people laugh, especially the people he likes. Asher doesn't take things likely, and can easily hold grudges for years.

    Mary Haydn Woolsy

Mary, or 'Mouse', as she is affectionately called, is what you could call 'tiny but mighty'. Being called small and meek her whole life has given her quite the firey personality. Mary tries to be sweet, but is easily set of by the smallest of things. If you anger her, she could go on for hours about what you did wrong, occasionally throwing in insults. However, if you don't annoy her, Mary is very fun to be around. She can be bright and imaginative, and loves to sing, even at the most random times.

  • I have an idea. Reagan has a twin sister and maybe it's like "Hey hotshot, Molly wants to know when your going to come over?' I feel like she wouldn't like him that much at first, because he flirts. I don't have any ideas right away for the other couple.

  • That sounds good. I think it would be funny (this is all up to you) if Reagen and her sister were identical, and Asher says "Wait, aren't you Molly?" It's just an idea. As for the other couple, I'm not sure either. I'll have to think for a while.

  • (Sure. I'm sorry if this first post is horrible... I've had no muse at all these past few days.)

Asher panted heavily, his face glistening with sweat. Him and some friends had just been playing basketball. Of course, his team had won, and he was now trying to cool off on a bench. He took a sip from his water bottle, sighing as his temperature cooled. Leaning back on the bench, he gazed around the park. It was nice to take a moment and rest for a while. And to check out chicks... Asher grinned cheekily at this thought, suddenly much more interested in the people than the scenery. Well, in a world where you had soul mates, it's not like you can pick up anyone you want. Most people, mostly women, were very fixated on their 'meant to be's' and Asher had to admit, so was he. He glanced down at his wrist, gazing at the bold words intensely. Written in a deep black color and loopy handwriting was, Hey hotshot, Molly wants to know when your going to come over. These words were the first things his soulmate would ever say to him, and they interested him immensely.

    Mary Haydn Woolsy

Mary hummed lightly from her sitting position, gazing up at the sky. Her eyes seemed quite lost, and Mary herself seemed to not quite be there. Yes, this was somewhat true, but she was much different than she looked. In reality, she was carefully taking note of her surroundings and the people in it. This was a hobby that she indulged in quite often, not that it was a good one. By 'taking note of the people' she was actually judging them, not harshly, but making strange assumptions. Not that she would tell them face to face, definitely not. At least no one knows for sure what Mary was thinking about them. The thing she liked doing most was observing people's soul mate words. She found these incredible, and very much wanted to know how they worked... Where they came from, how they started. Hearing your soulmate's first words was an amazing experience, even if you realized this quite late. It was an experience that excited her, one she longed to feel.

(Um... Never mind. I have suddenly just thrown up all my muse into this post. Sorry, you don't have to make yours this long... ^-^)

As Asher sat there on the bench, he noticed a couple of people, probably around his age, had entered the park. He specifically took note of a quite familiar girl. He realized it was Molly, a girl he frequently hangs out with. Asher had heard she had a sister, but he had never seen her in person. So as he tried to secretly look at this girl, he noticed she was coming closer. Closer, closer, until she's finally in front of me. Her question was strange, wasn't she... "Wait, aren't you Molly?" He asked curiously, examining the girl more closely. However, as this girl's words processed, he suddenly looked quite excited. "Um, I..." His words were jittery, and he kept glancing down at his wrist. "May I... May I take a look at your wrist?" He tried to sound more sincere with his tone, as this girl could quite possibly be the one.

    Mary Hadyn Woolsy

Mary was still somewhat lost in her own world when she noticed a, dare she say, rather attractive guy who looked her age walking towards her. She thought nothing of it at first, as he might just be doing a walk by or whatever. Mary soon realized he was coming straight towards her, and became quite flustered. When she was flustered she got snappy. So when he asked her a question, her response wasn't as kind as she had wanted it to be. "Ask me when I know." Came her reply, short and simple. Wait a minute... Did he just? Did he just say... The words? Glancing down at her wrist, yup! The dark bolded words read, Have you seen Molly? We're playing hide and seek Mary stifled a loud gasp. This had to be it, the day she had waited for the moment these words appeared. For some reason, she waited to say anything. She wanted to make sure, to see if he had the same reaction.

  • (My other posts deleted? I already put this up, but it didn't go up?!?!)

    Hunter James Gronert
"Oh my gosh. Okay, Okay. So, we're soul mates... Awesome. Sorry, when I'm excited I talk a lot. Am I talking a lot? I think I am. You seem a little serious, are you? I'm going to have to make you more fun. Did I say that out loud? Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude. I've been waiting for this forever. I'm sorry if I'm annoying, my cousins say I am." I ramble, I so am going to beat myself up over this later. I'm so embarrassing.

    Reagan Jenessa Gronert
Well crapsicles. The jerk face is probably my soul mate. At least he won't want me, obviously. I'm not like my sister, with the booty shorts and crop tops. I'm not exactly a player's main target. I don't exactly like people like him, not even waiting for their soul mates. "I'm Reagen, Molly's twin. Molly's right there." I point to my sister, who is obviously trying to hide. "Um... sure. It wouldn't really matter if we are soul mates though." I show him my wrist, looking at the floor as I do.

  • Mary Hadyn Woolsy

Mary giggled at this guy... No, her soulmate's rambling. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be rude. I was just a bit flustered." She said while standing up and sticking out a hand. "Mary Woolsy. Friends call me Mouse." Her face flushed at the mention of her nickname, only reminding her of how much shorter she was than her meant to be... and everyone else.

    Asher Henry North

Asher nodded and took her wrist, quickly reading Reagen's soulmate tattoo. He looked back up at her with a cheeky grin. "Well, Reagen, it looks like you're stuck with me." He teased, seeing she didn't seem all too happy with him. "I would introduce myself, but I guess you already know who I am." Asher shrugged, taking a glance at Molly. He knew she had a twin, but he didn't know they were identical. He also quickly realized it must suck to have your soulmate's first words be about your sister. Yikes...

  • Hunter James Gronert
"I'm Hunter, you can call me whatever you want to. I mean, my cousins call me Hunty, but if people use a nickname, it's normally Hunt. But, you don't have to call me that, but you know, you can if you want to. Am I talking too much? Oooh, no. You're not being rude. I just am a little..... freaked out right now. How old are you?" I ramble, then ask her a question... I really need to stop rambling.

    Reagan Jenessa Gronert
"Okay, first of all, no. We can just pretend that this never happened. I'm not supposed to be telling you this, but Molly likes you. Another one of my sisters thinks your hot, one of my brothers thinks your cute, and two of my sisters are scared of you. I couldn't do that to any of them. So, will you answer the question!?!?" I don't mean to be rude, family is just more important to me than anything else. My foster parents are pretty rich, so I have a ton of foster siblings. Almost all of us have our own bedrooms, and there are twenty of us....Yeah. We have to sit on the floor of the biggest truck we could find, due to our immense number. We also sit on each other's laps. Surprisingly, the police don't care.

  • Mary Hadyn Woolsy

"I'm seventeen. How old are you?" Even if Hunter was rambling quite a lot, it was nice they were having a conversation. In fact, Mary thought she was quite lucky. She got a cute, talkative guy for her soulmate. In her eyes, that was a big score.

    Asher Henry North

Asher was somewhat taken a back, surprised by her comment. It wasn't the thing about her family, no, he knew what a lot of people thought about him. It was what she said about the both of them being soulmates. There weren't really any laws binding soulmates together, but more often than not you saw soulmates being together. Asher frowned slightly, but nodded. "Yes, I will be coming over later." He answered, forming a plan in his mind. He would get Reagen to like him!
