    So, Jinora was still new to the whole “meeting” thing, so she was currently trying to be tell herself that people would second guess her, but she would just have to keep talking. Sure, that seemed doable.


    Jumping atop one of the chairs in the lobby, Jinora cleared her throat. “Tidalclan, gather for a meeting. I’m really sorry this is so late.” She had some promotions in mind, and was currently trying very hard not to forget them. dreamie was also crying and stroking the computer screen because her family's travel plans decided to just intervene with the life she didn't have.


    “First off, promotions. Cairparavel, I’d like you to step up to medic. You’ve had experience on the team before, and I think we could use you again. Cake, if you take the chance, you’re promoted to Officer. You’re very active around TidalClan, and a valued member. Madrigal is promoted to Ensign along with Differentkit, if she likes.” That seemed about right. Now, some other notices before she continued on to the titles.


    “Sammy is taken off of his warning – you’ve bumped up your activity. Good job.” The cinnamon calico smiled for a moment, glancing happily at her boyfriend. “I recall Bramblepaw leaving a notice, but I haven’t seen her at all for quite some time. Sorry, but Bramblepaw is demoted to regular status.” Huh. Jinny guessed that along with the great perks of being leader, there also came those tough calls with old friends.

    the kid hadn't seen the promotion coming, so when her dad announced that she was to be an officer, her first reaction was, her? as in, the mute kid who had no bloody idea how she could add to the team. her jaw nearly dropped to the floor, but she managed to stop that from actually happening.


    her second reaction was a bit different. a small crept up onto her maw, even if a bit crooked. she decided that it would be a good thing for her. self-confidence booster. after all, she did have a few ideas... perhaps she could finally throw a couple of the parties she had wanted to throw. maybe even have a luau and celebrate the end of summer.... ooh, maybe they could have a barbeque?


    ref didn't understand why jinny was apologizing, as she knew mistakes happened and that sometimes things just slip your mind. the newly-proclaimed officer simply thought of what her next party would be, and tried to thank jinora in her head with, 'it 'salright, we all make mistakes.'
