  • Cats stood in a towering room, her dark eyes looking down as her fingers clutched the edge of a table that sat in the middle of this room. A holographic image floated above the table. It showed a map of the current solar system that they resided in. At the moment, the image was focused on the planet Earth.

Fire stood outside the doorway, her arms behind her back as she held her attention forward. She was guarding the room that Cats was in. Her green eyes scanning the empty hallway. A small sigh escaping her.

  • Moonstone walked down the empty halls, hoping their feet would lead them somewhere interesting. They looked up, blinking their eye. Fire stood outside a door, looking tense. "What're you doing?" Moonstone asked curiously trying to see past Fire, into the blocked room.

  • Fire blinked as Moonstone approached her, she moved her green eyes to look at her. "I'm guardin' the door, what does it look like?" She questioned. She then removed her eyes from Moonstone.

Cats let out a soft sigh. She removed her hand from the table and the image soon disappeared. She continued to stare forward. She'd just gotten news of how many gems were residing on Earth's surface.

  • Star's eyes glazed over the screen on his wall, absent mindedly flicking away tab by tab with his finger. He let out a sigh as each different tab showed a new style that trended around homeworld. "Diamond pattern....diamond print...triangles....everything is so simple and geometric. There isn't variety anymore!" He said with a twinge of frustration. "I need to get out of here for a while." He got up with a huff and headed out into the corridors.

  • Moonstone frowned, furrowing their brow. "This may be an idiotic question, but why?" They asked, their bare foot tapping the tiled floor.

  • "They were holding a meeting.. But Catseye is finishing up." Fire responded, her arms coming from behind her back and resting on her hips. She shifted around on her feet.

Cats soon turned away from the table before making her way to the doorway. Her eyes shut in thought. The meeting had been terrible. Some of the commanding gems had began arguing about what to do. As Jasper and Peridot had gone missing.. But they had all decided to discuss it later, once they got their bearings.

  • Star let a sigh escape him as he glanced around the the empty halls. Faint voices nearby made him stop as he listened in on the conversation going on, occasionally peeking around the corner.

  • Cats soon pushed past Fire and down the corridor, her footsteps echoing on the ground. Her arms were crossed across her chest as she continued along. She was heading towards a viewing platform. She opened her eyes and she glanced around her.

Fire blinked as Cats moved her out of the way. "Well.. She's done."

  • Moonstones eye peered up at the gem. "Alright. Sounds interesting." They replied. Noticing the change in stance, Moonstone thought that they should probably stop pestering Fire. From the spond of it, the meeting was over. Sound had died out on the other side of the doorway.

  • "Hmm... i wonder where..." Star thought before continuing calmly around the corner and strolling past the two gems. He gave a small nod and a smile as he followed Cats direction, leaving distance between them

  • Fire nodded lightly, before she stretched out her stiffness. She had stood there for well over an hour, and she was pretty stiff. She took her time before she finally finished stretching out. Her arms relaxing and dropping off to her side.

Cats soon stopped and glanced up. The starry sky now exposed to her eyes. It was very relaxing, given what had just happened.

  • Moonstone slowly stepped back, reluctantly leaving. There was not much to do, so they began to head back into the halls.

  • "I suppose you can say that." Cats responded. She placed her hands on her hips and blinked. She continued to stare out into the vast space that was around them.

Fire watched as Moonstone backed away. She continued to stay in spot before retreating off to work other duties.

  • "Sorry to hear, but this is one of the most relaxing places to be." He said before silence lingered around them for a moment. "...no word from Jasper or Peridot huh?" He said looking into the starry sky

  • Moonstone wondered the halls, wondering if there was anything they could do. Being stuck on this ship is draining me.. They thought, gently setting their hand on their gem. It felt cold, but it was healthy. Moonstone thought of places to venture while not on duty.

  • Cats nodded, "It's kind of weird though.. They're one of the best gems here, and they've disappeared.." She sighed out. She stared at the sky for a few moments more before looking down at the ground.

Fire made her way around. No duties needed anybody to fill them yet, so that gave her a small break period. This caused her to let out a soft breath of relief. She leaned against a wall, her arms folded across her chest.
