ABOUT
CedarClan is a traditional Clan that occupies a large chunk of forest-dense territory at a high elevation. They are neither all good, nor all bad. They are a neutral Clan that has had their fair share of high highs and low lows, however, in the majority of their time in existence, each leader and Clanmates alike have done a respectable job trying their collective best to uphold the Warrior Code and traditional values of their warrior ancestors. CedarClan has been around for a long while, a great deal of years, and has seen and since passed seven previous leaders.

TERRITORY
CedarClan sits atop a plateau-like chunk of land that is elevated about forty feet above sea level. The land stretches out for about two square miles and CedarClan's territory occupies a small corner of said space. The land is rocky and bracken-filled in the core of territory, surrounded by dense forest undergrowth, ferns, and tall cedars that create a canopy above the forest floor. On the outskirts of the territory, the forest and trees begin to thin out and the ground is riddled with rocks and boulders jutting out over the sandy beaches that meld into the ocean. In the far corner of CedarClan territory, there is a rocky cliff that drops off sharply into the rocky ocean below, a 40ft drop. The cats generally steer clear of the beach because it is sticky, wet and uncomfortable. But when prey is scarce, they may venture to the water to try their luck at fishing. Below is a rough map of the territory:

RULES
1. This is a semi-advanced roleplay. I expect no one-liners. I want paragraphs, if you are going to write at all, then write with everything in you. Don't give me some half-assed few sentences. Make me see what you are describing in my mind. Be interesting, be lively, write beautifully or not at all! It will make it more fun that way.
2. This is a traditional Clan that follows traditional values from the Warriors saga books. Now, whether or not the characters follow said guidelines in the roleplay is a different story. But just keep in mind, this is realistic. Only domestic cats, cat speak, realistic as possible. Keep in mind that cats with serious disabilities such as blindness, deafness, missing limbs, etc. cannot be warriors. ALSO: traditional names will be the only ones accepted. If you have trouble coming up with a traditional prefix or suffix for your cat, I will link a helpful guide with a list of good ones here (for acceptable prefixes) and here (for acceptable suffixes).
3. No mute cats or motherless kits, please.
4. Be dramatic, but not over the top. Keep things interesting without blowing them out of proportion or being too unrealistic. I love plots. Bring them to the plotting thread, please!
5. Track the plotting/chatting thread once you are accepted and before you roleplay. No chatting or plotting on this thread, please.
6. Only heterosexual characters, please, for the sake of realism. If you've read this far, write 'easy come easy go' somewhere in your form.
7. Be thoughtful and respectful to everyone involved.
8. Try to keep the gender ratios even.

APPEARANCE: Spiderstar is a tall, lanky black tom with long legs and short, sleek, glossy black fur. His paws are white and he has very long, black whiskers from which he got his warrior name. He is not particularly muscular, rather lean and long, with a strong stride. His face is small and narrow and he has short, rounded ears paired with two dark green eyes that reflect the light.
SCARS/MARKINGS: He has various scars from battle, but his fur has since grown over them.

PERSONALITY: Spiderstar is a mellow tom who doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He is clever and quick and prefers over all to avoid altercation and conflict. His physique doesn't amount to much and although his long legs make him tall, he is lean and not sturdy in build. This is another reason that Spiderstar would much rather fight his battles with words rather than actual attack. He tries his best to follow the Warrior Code and depends heavily on StarClan and his warrior ancestors, however, his Clan will always come first to him and he will do anything to protect those who have faith in him.
STRENGTHS: Clever, quick on his paws, agile, tactical
WEAKNESSES: Not the best fighter, weak swimmer, hard on hearing

APPEARANCE: Snowpaw is a short white she-cat with a short, full felt. Her ears are tall and pointed and her eyes are dark and intense amber. She has long, white whiskers and messy fur. She is almost completely white, aside from her front left paw, which is black.
SCARS/MARKINGS: Front left paw is black, a small scar on her shoulder from a fall

PERSONALITY: Hotheaded and driven, Snowpaw is a wicked little spitfire. She has a tongue sharper than badger's claws and is more irritable than an angry watersnake. She is stubborn and hardheaded, and has to do things HER way or not at all. She is a handful-- excuse me, PAWful, and although she is a value asset to the Clan due to her natural gift of battle ability and tact, she is a firecracker and very hard to teach due to her attitude and inflated ego. She's quick witted and sarcastic, disobedient and crude. Snowpaw really is, underneath the facade, a highly intelligent and very tactful cat, but she's too busy goofing off and getting herself into trouble to make any of those better qualities known. Snowpaw has an understandably hard time making friends due to her crude sense of humor and inability to maintain close relationships, so she has developed a sort of loner complex and rarely attempts to form bonds with her peers and Clanmates. Perhaps under it all, she's really just a lonely little she-cat trying her best not to show it.

Appearance
Dawnwing is a delicate featured, slender-built she-cat with a taste for adventure. She was born in the clan, her mother and father both deceased from a battle just after she was admitted to apprenticeship. During a training session, she had had an encounter with a fox, which left her with a long, painful looking scar down her back. She is insecure about it, and would rather not have it brought up in a conversation.
Scars & Markings
As listed above, she has a long scar on her back, running from the base of her neck right down her spine to the base of her tail.
Personality
Dawnwing is known for her bubbly personality and positive attitude, despite the pain and suffering she has endured as a young cat. She is brave and loyal, and is respected by almost every cat she meets. She believes that friends come and go, and she lives by her motto - "easy come, easy go". If they are meant to be, then it will.
Strengths
She is quick and agile, a plus side to being as small as she is. She is also witty, and can often find another way to accomplish things in a manner that is easier for a cat without the liberties of size. She is also good with other cats, which makes her less likely to contract enemies.
Weaknesses
As listed above, she is very small in stature and in weight. She is not valued as a fighter, but more so as a hunter. Because of her small size and her scar, her self esteem is low, causing a lack of confidence in herself.
Kin
She was born as the only kit in her litter, although her mother had adopted in a cat that she had found in the forest one day, though the kit had gotten sick and passed away before leaf bare had even finished.

APPEARANCE:
Silentsong is a gorgeous light to dark brown Siamese femme. She has brilliant bright blue eyes that stop anyone who is looking at them. She is built for the cold with her think, fluffy fur and long whiskers. She's semi-muscular, but better at hunting fish. Fish is one of her favorite preys to catch and she much enjoys this. Her legs are medium in height and her tail is long and fluffy. She often grooms her pelt twice a days due to the fur getting caught on many different things. All in all she is pretty besides one marking from her kithood.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
As you will read in the history, she has a scar down her chest. It is quite noticeable but she usually brushes her fur over it.

PERSONALITY:
Silentsong acquired her name for being soft spoken when she was a lot. She never really got out to play as much but now that she has gotten older she talks normally and has many friends throughout the clan. Though she is known to have a sharp tongue once in a while or better known as "Silentsass," she can be friendly and kind. She just became a warrior a moon ago so many of the cats still treat her like an apprentice. Silentsong is one of the most loyal to the clan, but sometimes will sneak out to have a little fun but she would never endanger her clan.

APPEARANCE: Wrenfoot is an averaged size Tom with a thick, tabby pelt of short, dark ginger fur. His eyes are olive green and his tail is a bit short. His paws are all white, as well as the tip of his tail and his whiskers. He is of average build, not overly muscular but not too lean or thin. There is nothing too outstanding about his appearance, aside from that his fur shines a iridescent orange glow when the sun hits it at the right angle.
SCARS/MARKINGS: A few minor scars, including one on his nose where a thorn was once lodged deeply during his apprenticeship.

PERSONALITY: Wrenfoot is intelligent and pleasant. He is not, and never has been, overly friendly, but he certainly isn't by any means rude. He is patient, but at times can be quite irritable. He rarely ever lashes out and is in no regard a hothead or short tempered. Where he lacks in communication, he makes up for in his fierce loyalty and intense passion for CedarClan. He grew up in it and loves his Clanmates dearly. He wouldn't need to think twice about putting his life on the line for what he loves. It is instinct for him.

WEAKNESSES: Can be a bit clumsy, is sometimes forgetful

Sunpaw is still a younger tom, being admitted to apprenticeship only a couple moons ago. He has short orange and white fur and green eyes. He has no scars yet because of his young age, but he will develop a fair amount of battle scars as he ages.
Scars & Markings
As he ages, the young cat will eventually receive a tear in his right ear, and a scar on his left shoulder, both received in a future battle.
Personality
Sunpaw is an energetic tom with what seems to have a lot of things to do, and simply not enough time to do it. He loves adventure, and the thought of going into battle excites him more than anything. He is kind and loyal, however there may come times when he becomes slightly arrogant, if he believes that his way on approaching a certain situation. He loves to plan attacks and other ambushes on other clans of the situation seems fit.
Strengths
Sunpaw has great stamina. He can run forever and maybe only work up a bit of a sweat. Although as an early apprentice he is small, he will grow to be a strong warrior in hunting and in battle.
Weaknesses
Sunpaw tends to be a bit arrogant at times, when discussing topics that he seems to be extremely passionate about. He is always up and about, needless to say he has a very short attention span.
Kin
Is it possible he can maybe be related to Wrenfoot? I'm not too sure how, though. Perhaps a nephew of some sort?

Morningeyes is known for her tiny stature in the clan; despite being older than any apprentice, she will often not match their builds, height-wise or muscle mass-wise. She has relatively short legs and delicate paws; which contrasts with her long, slightly feathered tail. Her pelt itself has a pale grey base, which is crossed with a multitude of black stripes and rings, situated mainly around her paws and face. Regarding her facial, it is seen as slightly more slender, which doesn't seem to match her tiny juvenile-like body; and her eyes amber hold a lot of maturity for a cat that looks so young.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
No scars. Black striped for markings.

PERSONALITY:
Morningeyes has a very level personality, who appears very placid and friendly towards her clanmates; she's easy to get along with and is willing to help any cat with their problems. Because of her rank in the clan, she has to hold a lot of wisdom and this proves very difficult for her, as she can be extremely forgetful, due to her being easily distracted and has to be constantly reminded of the task she has on hand. Although, her young appearance doesn't match her personality; she is very mature and tends to use formal and complicated words around others. In contrast to her maturity, in times of crisis, she can come across as cold and often lashes out at those who she feels distract her; she is easily stressed when too much pressure is put on her, due to her organised nature - she is almost unable to think when put on the spot.

Nettlefang is a relatively tall tom, with a lithe and slender stature, accompanied by long limbs and an extended tail. He is a little more scrawny than his brother, although isn't malnourished in anyway; so he is often thought of as the runt of the litter. His paws are small and delicate which allows for silent movements and precision when treading - making him a skilled hunter. His face is angular and narrow, giving his pale green eyes a slight slant, which can make him appear threatening and unapproachable.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
A small scar on the back of his head; from a fox attack in his younger moons and another across his left flank from the same attack, it appears pale and the fur has never grown back over it. No noticeable markings.

PERSONALITY:
Nettlefang can be described as the more ferocious version of his brother. Despite actually having no bad intentions; or meaning any harm, he can come across as a rude and arrogant tom, who can be cold and callous, or when provoked, hostile and hasty. He is very intolerant to younger cats who don't show respect, those who play tricks, or those who don't take their Warrior duty seriously - because of this, he isn't always the best candidate for training an apprentice. He is very mature and despite his negative nature, he is very caring when it comes to Cedarclan and would gladly lay down his life for his clanmates - although, he can be very naïve and is easily lead when pushed.

APPEARANCE:
Brackenfoot is a well-muscled tom for his age; most likely because of his habit for hunting despite being an Elder. His stature itself is relatively average, covered with an ash-grey and white pelt - they grey parts mainly situated on his back, tail and face, leaving his undersides and legs white. His face appears to be slightly aged, often looking thin despite his healthy-looking body; his eyes are pale hazel and often appear to look worn and tired - perhaps due to his deteriorating sight.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
Many scars from past battles, which have healed over; only some remain visible. The majority of his pelt is white, grey patches invade on some parts.

PERSONALITY:
Brackenfoot is a fairly relaxed and laid-back tom, who is loyal to his clan and has served them for many moons. Despite this, he doesn't take the his Elderhood laying down; he will always go with the dawn patrol, to make sure he's still worthy of the clan, although he is probably just slowing them down, but because of his stubborn and determined nature; he doesn't notice or care. Although he is an elder, he isn't the least bit cranky; instead he still has the personality of a young Warrior, carefree and has a somewhat immature persona; often the one to inspire kits and apprentices to hassle and prank their older clanmates, just for the chance to see their reactions.

APPEARANCE:
solarflare, like his siblings is a brown tabby with white chest, underbelly, and paws. the thing is, he has much more white fur than his siblings, his face also having white on it. his fur is short and easily groomed and well kept. solarflare's eyes are a more vibrant shade of melon green. the tom has a very stocky build and he is quite muscular unlike his sister, pebbleshore. his muscles are more pronounced than his other sister, bramblebeauty's muscles. the feline also happens to be the largest out of his siblings.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
many scars scatter over his pelt, the most noticeable one being the one along his chest from the left corner of his mouth to the middle of his chest. solarflare also has the black tabby markings.

PERSONALITY:
solarflare is a very level headed cat. he likes to keep his emotions in check and doesn't like yelling at others very much. even though he has kittypet blood in him, the tabby tom doesn't let that get in the way of being loyal to his clan. this feline is very trustworthy as well and when he says he will do something, he does everything he possibly can to fulfill that. his real problem is that he is irrational at times and overexerts himself a lot of the time.

level headed, strong, good fighter, strong, loyal, collected, trustworthy
WEAKNESSES:

PERSONALITY:
Morningeyes has a very level personality, who appears very placid and friendly towards her clanmates; she's easy to get along with and is willing to help any cat with their problems. Because of her rank in the clan, she has to hold a lot of wisdom and this proves very difficult for her, as she can be extremely forgetful, due to her being easily distracted and has to be constantly reminded of the task she has on hand. Although, her young appearance doesn't match her personality; she is very mature and tends to use formal and complicated words around others. In contrast to her maturity, in times of crisis, she can come across as cold and often lashes out at those who she feels distract her; she is easily stressed when too much pressure is put on her, due to her organised nature - she is almost unable to think when put on the spot.

Nettlefang is a relatively tall tom, with a lithe and slender stature, accompanied by long limbs and an extended tail. He is a little more scrawny than his brother, although isn't malnourished in anyway; so he is often thought of as the runt of the litter. His paws are small and delicate which allows for silent movements and precision when treading - making him a skilled hunter. His face is angular and narrow, giving his pale green eyes a slight slant, which can make him appear threatening and unapproachable.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
A small scar on the back of his head; from a fox attack in his younger moons and another across his left flank from the same attack, it appears pale and the fur has never grown back over it. No noticeable markings.

PERSONALITY:
Nettlefang can be described as the more ferocious version of his brother. Despite actually having no bad intentions; or meaning any harm, he can come across as a rude and arrogant tom, who can be cold and callous, or when provoked, hostile and hasty. He is very intolerant to younger cats who don't show respect, those who play tricks, or those who don't take their Warrior duty seriously - because of this, he isn't always the best candidate for training an apprentice. He is very mature and despite his negative nature, he is very caring when it comes to Cedarclan and would gladly lay down his life for his clanmates - although, he can be very naïve and is easily lead when pushed.

Brackenfoot is a well-muscled tom for his age; most likely because of his habit for hunting despite being an Elder. His stature itself is relatively average, covered with an ash-grey and white pelt - they grey parts mainly situated on his back, tail and face, leaving his undersides and legs white. His face appears to be slightly aged, often looking thin despite his healthy-looking body; his eyes are pale hazel and often appear to look worn and tired - perhaps due to his deteriorating sight.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
Many scars from past battles, which have healed over; only some remain visible. The majority of his pelt is white, grey patches invade on some parts.

PERSONALITY:
Brackenfoot is a fairly relaxed and laid-back tom, who is loyal to his clan and has served them for many moons. Despite this, he doesn't take the his Elderhood laying down; he will always go with the dawn patrol, to make sure he's still worthy of the clan, although he is probably just slowing them down, but because of his stubborn and determined nature; he doesn't notice or care. Although he is an elder, he isn't the least bit cranky; instead he still has the personality of a young Warrior, carefree and has a somewhat immature persona; often the one to inspire kits and apprentices to hassle and prank their older clanmates, just for the chance to see their reactions.

Duskpaw is a slender she-cat with a long tail and tiny paws. Unfortunately for her, her thick, fluffy fur obscures her graceful figure as well as making her appear larger than she is. Although her fur is very fluffy and hard to tame, she grooms if often and takes great pride in her long coat. The aforementioned fur is primarily grey with some with areas such as her face, chest, paws, and belly. She has a round face that houses two wide, ice blue eyes that seem to see right through you. Along with this other notable things on her face are her tufted ears and the inverted white v covering her muzzle.
SCARS/MARKINGS: She has a small nick in her from an incident she had as a kit.

PERSONALITY:
If you asked her clanmates to describe her personality in one word they would probably say cold. Duskpaw as a sharp tongue and is very blunt, saying the truth how it is. She does not believe in sugar coating or having false hope and she treats all cats the same, whether it be kit or warrior. However you will only see those traits if she chooses to talk to you. Duskpaw prefers solitude, but only because she likes to have control over all situations. She has a secret fear that one day her clan will be in trouble and she will have to watch but she won't be able to help.

APPEARANCE:
Lean but still plenty broad, Icepaw has both strong shoulders and an average bulk. His silky, fairly short fur showcases his rippling muscles and closely follows his slightly rounded face. His pelt is simple, pure white, however that doesn't make his appearance boring. His face is slightly less wide than his sister's and has more defined cheekbones. The only other remarkable features of his face are his eyes, which are a striking ice blue that look surprisingly warm and welcoming.
SCARS/MARKINGS:
None yet, though eventually I would like to give him a scar on his chest.

PERSONALITY:
Despite his name, Icepaw is actually an extremely nice and welcoming cat. Chances are if you want to be his friend he'd say yes, and if you ever need cheering up he is the cat to go to as he has a positive outlook on things and is rarely upset. This Tom loves being the center of attention, and not because he is self centered, just simply because he likes being near cats that much. He is extremely social and loves to socialize with the other cats in his clan, he can often be found in camp chatting with the other apprentices. However, Icepaw actually has a horrible fear of being alone. He often dreams of everyone leaving him.
