    Darth stroked her golden locks through his fingers as she spoke, lowering his head a little to nuzzle against hers while his hands seeped around her lower back, pulling her closer but was kind of surprised at her response given towards him.
    "Now!? Wow... Uh... We have to go now if they are planning.. Unless you have any other plans. If that treehouse really means a lot to you..." His brows furrow in worry and anxiety.

    Rayne shook her head. "There's nothing back at the tree house that I held dear to me. It was just my escape from that hell hole." Rayne could actually smell the smoke faintly in the distance. " Well I was right they are going through with it." She looked over her shoulder in the distance seeing very faint smoke.

    Darth shrugged his shoulder blades because he wasn't going to make her do something she didn't want but he really wanted to get her out of the way from whatever those people are. Though he turned his head to flare his nostrils at the strong aroma of smoke. The only and think of being part wolf is that the smelling is from miles away. Immediately, Darth began sneezing as he plugged his nose with force and began to swiftly step back.


    "Man that smoke smells so freakin' bad." He cursed under his breath waving it off with his hand as he became dazed and coughed, almost forgetting about her as he began pushing through the obstacles ahead to lead him to fresh air.

    Rayne turned back looking at the smoke and the fire in the distance for amoment before she ran off to catch up to Darth taking him by the hand. " Come on we need to get down to the beach. They are using flame throwers, it's a chemical in those that you smell and making smell worse than it should." Rayne quickly changed back to the red wolf, taking off into the woods.

    Darth glanced over his shoulder and did a irritated sigh as he immediately shifted into his black wolf and ran after her, swiftly. His lobes pinning forward to the outbursts and distractions of laughing in the distance. They can't take her without him nearby unless they want to risk deep wounds. As the smoke was partly clearing, his foggy iris's extract to concentrate on her red frame as they reached the beach. The tidal waves slamming into the sandbar as he came to a halt, panting loudly.
    "Thanks." He breathed out and shook his black pelt and waded into the depths to get the smoke aroma off of him.

    Rayne as fast as she could the smoke getting to her as well but she knew they had to get away for the moment. When her paws hit the sandy beach she came to halt has she pantng and couching, the smoke bothered her alot more than she thought. Rayne looked to Darth when he made it to the beach "No problem" she managed to get out between the couching. She followed him to the waters edge,turning back to the see a high wall of fire. She wasn't worried about the fire seeing they were on the beach, it was the smoke that worried her. Rayne's ear twitched when she heard a high shriek above them, her attention going to the sky where she knew they were being watched she stood there growling loudly.

    Darth got the scent off of him as he watched her presence nearby. His glowing yellow iris's as well glanced at the large fire ahead as her tree was quite noticeable to be seen with the fire. A sudden channel of warmth came over him and more smoke as he then flicked his lobes forward when he heard a screech and growl.
    "We have to get moving, hurry." He panicked and nudged her along while snapping his canines at the winged species up above. He knew who it was but he would not want to even remember Lavos at all. But for now he ran from behind her, protectively while straightening his vocal cords to howl out a melody of territorial distress that echoed through the premises. Dodging the obstacles swiftly ahead while thinking they could get her away this time.

    Rayne looked to Darth when he nudge her to go and she did. She took off back into the woods but not far from the beach, atleast the tree canopy will provide them cover from those above watching. Rayne ran and ran but she came to quick halt when she saw fire ahead. "Those bastards are burning the woods now to cut off any possible escape route." Rayne growled as she looked around she had an idea but she didn't think Darth would go for it.

    Darth halted right after her and continued panicking in anxiety, his eyes darting from the fire starting to surround the two as he could hear the loud crack of flames. Without hesitation he sharply glanced back into her and swallowing a pointless breath of guilt.
    "We only have the ocean.... I know I hate water but maybe you can turn into one of those creatures you always can and we both can escape. Or if you have anything mythical at all to take off away into the sky... A dragon?" He grinned his canines at the thought. If she was shifter she could shift into anything, correct..?

    Rayne laid her ears flat on her head as she whimpered a bit before looking to Darth. " They are expecting me to fly, it's why they are doing this. The ocean is the only option. " Rayne looked up to the tree canopy as she spoke " These shifters specialize in flight creatures most of them probably don't have the ability to change to anything aquatic." Rayne returned her gaze back to Darth " I can change back to the mermaid I can supply air to you till we are far out enough they wont see us. There is also a small island a few miles out we can take shelter till they leave and the fire is out."

    Darth flattened his ears to notice they won't be flying anytime soon. He always wondered what it could be like to be in such an aquatic premises.
    "Alright... Well what are we waiting for?" He shifted into his human and began to run indistinctly towards the ocean and came to a halt to hear Lavos screech again and circle up above. Darth's bright iris's exchange to yellow and violet while he growled a little.

    Rayne chased after him but she didn't bother changing she remained as a wolf. When Lavos screech could be heard she just ignored it running up to Darth as she nudge him in the back of his leg. " Move it Darth." The fire drew closer faster, it's been such a hot summer that everything catch fire instantly so the wild fire spread rapidly. After nudging Darth to keep moving she ran around him, she knew where a place was to get in the water where no one could have a chance to follow them but she hoped Darth didn't have a problem jumping from a cliff.

    Darth caught his breath but heard her raspy voice that spat like a demon making him flinch and glance over his shoulder to where he felt nudged. Then he rolled his eyes with a annoyed snort, shifting into his wolf to have faster force as he picked up his pace right behind her, not minding the way the breeze was tossing within his fur and the sounds of thunder emerging from right behind them. A storm? It could possibly take out the fire but that would have to be hours for distinguishing. While his mind zoomed, he came to a shire halt while she kept on running when he noticed the cliff and was slightly clueless.
    "What!?" He glanced around like there was supposed to be some secret entrance but there wasn't as he thrashed his cranium back to her, clueless of what she was going to say or even do.

    Rayne just kept on running to the end of cliff jumping off without a second thought. She wasn't worried she knew there was no rocks below that could possible hurt them. She swam these waters enough to know that. Rayne hit the water as a wolf but she never came to the surface, she hid under the water waiting for Darth to come to his senses and jump in.

    IN: Darth gasped to watch her lunge off as he whined loudly to run swiftly after her but screech in another insignificant halt. His eyes glance down to see the imprints of where she plunged from the white caps as he whimpered once more, uneven to stand straight but wait for her to submerge from the depths. But she didn't..
    "Ugh she wants me to go in there..." Darth furrowed his brows and growled a little, stepping back and pacing back and forth as his hackles rose at the thought of injuring himself. But this was for Rayne or death. Without hesitation, the male glanced over his shoulder to Lavos that was looking around below not far away at all as he gulped and then slowly stepped back.
    "Here goes nothing.' Immediately, Darth latched off from the undergrowth and charged with his full speed and stamina to lunge successfully off of the edge. It took a while to land down below as he had his eyes closed shut but immediately felt himself plunge into the salty depths. Darth forced himself to open his eyes as they stung in agony from the saltwater as he gasped to breathe, paddling up for air as he choked out water in disgust. Looking around for her in worry.
    "Rayne!?" He called while flicking his lobes back, trying to stay afloat while he ducked whether so often to ignore the pain in his sight to glance around. But it was no use since the water was dark and rain came pouring down from the musky clouds up above.

    Rayne saw the white caps form when Darth finally joined her in the water. She swam over to him only surfacing right in front of him after the rain started. The rain would force the others to land, unable to fly in a down pour. Rayne couldn't look at Darth directly she kept her gaze low " I'm sorry I've gotten you involved......I'll change into something you can hold onto. The island is a few miles away, you'll tire before making it there if you swim."

    Darth noticed her appear as he sighed in relief, gasping for breath but resisting to lunge onto her to use for float.
    "Just.. hurry.." He coughed while the downpour made him cringe and anger since he could barely see her but the flashes of lightning reflecting her. He still was forcing himself not to go towards the shore but instead he shifted into his human and swam towards a wall of boulders against the cliff as he grasped onto them and pull himself up, his hair falling in front of his eyes while continuous choking and coughing escaped him.
    "God I hate saltwater." He muttered under his breath, lifting a hand to wipe his lips while waiting for her to shift knowing he could only hold on for so long.

    Rayne dove back under shifting into something that would scare anyone. She swam up to him a large grey dorsal fin emerging from the water. She turned into a great white shark whale, at least in this form she could keep him above water wtih ease plus keep away any predators with just her size alone. She waited for him to swim over to grab her dorsal fin, she was large enough where he could relax abit on her while he held on.

    Darth was quite surprised of what she seemed to shift into. But he said nothing but instead cautiously dive into the depths and then swim next to her large frame, grasping tightly on her dorsal fin to hold on while it was quite amusing. He kind of wished he had the same type of supernatural power, but he only has a wolf to deal with his whole life. How could she ever be depressed when she can be anything she wants? A large smile spread his lips while he waited for her to go where the destination would get away from the conflict. Although the rain was agitating it did help the situation overall.

    Rayne started swimming, she stayed close to the surface so Darth wouldn't have to worry about holding his breath or anything. After a while a little island came into view, Rayne swam as close to the island she could so Darth wouldn't have to swim so far. She waited for him to release her so she could change back.
