She hesitated before relaxing a bit. "Ah...Hi there." She rubbed the back of her neck, not sure what to say to the person who she'd just found hovering over her house. "Er...What can I...do for you?" She asked awkwardly.
"I am sorry, I am very lonely and I do not dare go to sleep. I really have no idea why I am here." he said awkwardly.
Selena couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, I see. Well, ah...I guess you can come in if you want to." She said, retrieving the keys from the ground. Koa gave her a questioning look and looked over at Alzonn, distrust written all over her face.
"Thank you." He walked in, and the path of darkness dissipated in a poof of black specks.
Selena followed him, Koa running ahead of her and keeping a close eye on him. Selena greeted some of the many pets that occupied the house upon entering. "Selena?" "Yup?" "Who else is in there?" "It's just a friend." "Oh, okay." A 17 year old boy with messy, curly brown hair that seemed to never fall into place came from the back of the house. He glanced at Alzonn and shot him a kind smile. "Oh, ah, this is Khai," she said to Alzonn. "We're good friends."

"Ah, okay." Alzonn said. And then took his water bowl out of his storage room, drank from it, and put it back in the interdimensional space.

Ace, a large German Shepherd, came bounded towards Selena. He leaped up, showering her face with licks. She laughed and pushed him backwards. "Alright, boy. Get down." He jumped down and padded up to Alzonn. He stared at him for a second, his deep brown eyes curious, then licked his hand.
Alzonn scratched Ace between the ears. His purple eyes flashed and turned blue, for some unknown reason.
Selena sat down in a chair in the corner of the room and yawned, staring at the floor. "Um..How long exactly do you have to go without sleeping?" She asked, not noticing the change in his eye color.
The eyes reverted back to normal.
"I've practiced staying up all night without it having negative impact on my facilities, and it works, so, days, I guess." he said. "Don't worry, I won't be here all night,"
Selena felt a pang of guilt. "Oh, no, that's not what I meant!" She said quickly. "I mean, you can stay as long as you want. I was...just...wondering..." She finished awkwardly.
"Well, thank you, but I have to leave sometime." Alzonn said gratefully.
Selena nodded, still staring at the ground. "Uh...Where did you come from?" She asked, attempting to make conversation.
"I...don't like to talk about it. People think that I'm a devil or something." he said sadly. He turned to look out the window at the moon, and no one saw him wipe a tear from his face.
Selena blinked, staring at him. "A devil? That's just stupid," she said, crossing her arms. "You seem okay to me." She noticed a hint of sadness in his tone. "My opinion isn't gonna change on you, no matter what you tell me." She said truthfully. When it came to other people, she never judged.
