    Connor listened to them and shrugged loosing his smart alic act. "Its not that I am observant or a detective. It's because my mother does the exact same thing when she gets a picture of my father out or thinks about him too much. The same symptoms out teacher has right now my mother gets." He stated as he glanced between them before sitting back and sneaking his phone out looking at his text messages from his friends am answering them to get his father off his mind.

    Maria went quiet "Oh"She said she knew little about his family except his father died before he was born that may of been a bad affect on Conor growing up without a father figure. But she knewshe loved him for who he was now he may have a slight cocky persona but deep down he was quite sweet. The bell rang and Lilly grabbed everyones work and handed it to the teacher before getting her bag and walking out with Miles. Maria got her bag and sighed "English"She muttered although it was her best subject today she wasn't in a very good mood and just didn't want to have to do work but if she didn't get good grades her dad would yell at her again and she could only take so much anger.

    Miles patted Connors back knowing almost everything since they been friends since Connor moved there. Miles then went with Lilly. Connor got up and forced a smile as he walked with Maria. "Yep. Give me a second. I'll catch up with you." He said then went back to the now empty classroom and over to the teacher. "Yes Mr. Thompson?" She asked after wiping her nose. He sighed. "It's only a guy. There is more." He said and she looked at him. "Why uh... Thanks." She said slightly confused on how he knew. He then walked out and caught up with her again. "I'm back." He said with a half smile.

    Maria had waited by the door she saw his slight caring side come out and smiled "You didn't have to do that, but it was sweet"She said quietly slowly walking to english she stayed close to him before going inside and sitting down at the back. Dropping her bad besde her and kicking it under the desk.
    Lilly meanwhile had to sit at the front since she always needed help from the teacher since she was bad at simple things.

    Miles sat with Lilly not caring how close to the front he was. Connor sat with her in the back and half smiled. "I didn't know you'd hear." He said before leaning back in the chair looking at her. He then noticed Miles. "He is gonna follow her like a lost puppy unless she tells him to stop and give her space." He said with a slight laugh.

    Maria raised an eyebrow "Oh really? kinda like what your doing now"She joked before looking over at them "Never seen her this happy with someone"She said quietly before getting out her pen and seeing Mr.hunt walk in and start explaing what they were doing. Maria just listened but ignored anytihng stupid.

    He smirked and put an arm around her. "And you act like you don't love me hanging on you." He said before looking over at Miles and Lilly. "Honestly I hope he doesn't mess it up." He said as he looked back at her. "He tends to be rather clingy and... Territorial I guess you'd call it. He gets jealous very easily." He stated with a small smile.

    "I didn't say that"She smiled kindly before glancing at them again "Oh really? I guess thats just tesostorone Lilly can handle anything shes very laid back about everything"Maria replied before kissing his cheek and started writing down the poems they were working on.

    He laughed slightly and playfully glared at her. "Oh and what's so bad bout testosterone?" He asked with a smirk before looking at the work they had to do. "Ok I like English but I couldn't write a poem if I tried. I mean I could but it wouldn't make any sense." He said with a laugh before writing the stuff down.

    Maria just nudged him "Shut up"She smiled and shrugged "This is my best subject so you need help just ask"She said before writing down a little more and then editing it and re-reading to make sure it was ok the next task was a short fictional story so she started writing about a princess.

    He shrugged. "Nah I got this." He said and in about three minutes he looked at her and sighed. "Hey I need help." He said with all joking aside since he had no idea how to do it. "Please." He said as he took his arm off of her shoulder.

    "Sure"Maria smiled she didn't care if he felt embaressed that he had asked for her help she read through what he had written and edited it before replying "Its good, you got some very good structure here. Just need a line to finish it off and then you can do the story"She replied before going back to her own work.

    He nodded and was getting frusterated with it. After a while he finished it and slipped it next to her so she could read it before he started writing. "Oh and make sure she doesn't give him her number. Poor Lilly wot ever sleep if she does." He said with a smile. "At least he won't be hanging on me anymore. Hopefully he gets the idea to send her the good morning texts and selfies on snapchat instead of sending them to me." He said with a shrug and small laugh.

    Maria was reading it "Oh god don't you send me any of that crap. A good morning text is fin but snapchat? at 6am I can't be bothered"Maria laughed reminding her she should give her number to him probably at Lunch "I think she already has because she stayed round mine after saturday and her phone kept buzzing"She remembered "Like I said shes a laid back type she doesn't mind all the attention"

    He laughed and ran a hand over the back of his neck. "Well I hope so." He said then looked at her with a smile. "And now that you said that I am gonna spam your phone every morning and send you pictures of everything I do. I might even wake up at four in the morning to snapchat you." He stated before kissing her cheek.

    Maria rolled her eyes "Fine I guess Im going to reply and do the same to you so you get a taste of your own medicine"She smirked before tearing a bit of her book and writing down her phone number and snapchat and handed it to him before kissing him gently on the lips "Have fun messing with me"She joked

    He smiled and kissed her back. "Challenge accepted." He said as he got out his phone keeping it hidden as he entered her information into his phone and snapchàt. He then put his phone away and finished his work. "Wanna hang out tonight?" He asked her curiously. "Maybe I can show you how to play the guitar." He said with a smile.

    "I would love too, But my dad always picks me up so I can't walk home with you. So I will go over yours later if thats ok?"Maria asked she had to be carefull around her dad and felt like she was tredding on eggshells but she would walk over hot coals if it came to this. the bell went for Lunch and Maria got her work and handed it to the teacher before getting her stuff. Lilly already out the door and going over to the bench her and Maria normal chill at.

    He shrugged. "Sure why not." He said with a smile before turning in his paper. "And I was thinking. Maybe we could tell your father one of these times. I'll come with you." He stated as he looked at her. He walked down the hall outside to the bench where Lilly and Miles were siting.

    Maria sighed "Ok I will tell him tonight I think it would be best to do that on my own though"She replied before sitting down "Hey strangers"she smiled and lilly shrugged and like always Maria handed her some food and she drank her coke.
