    Deryk was called to the Nurse's office for his medication the doctor had proscribed him. He was glad because his ribs and wrist were killing him.

    Monica smiled, she was glad she joined the cheerleading squad last year. it was great fun. She knew it was something she could do that would show her true potential. She got dressed into her jeans again and marched into the lobby to wait for her ride home.

    Deryk saw a convertible and Monica getting into it. His gaze held awe and envy as he admired the car. He drove a beat up black truck. It was his baby, but nothing compared to the gorgeous convertible.

    Monica sat in the car for awhile but eventually they left , now to figure out something to do for the rest of the day.

    Deryk tore his gaze from the convertible and walked to his truck. His grandparents were gone to visit some old friends, so he could do what he wanted, but what?

    Monica decided to goto the park for the rest of the day, luckily it was only a couple blocks from her house. She grabbed her bag and headed off along the sidewalk.

    Monica hadn't become besties with any other cheerleaders but atleast she had made some new friends. She walked to the park and smiled at the stretch of greenery.

    Liberty stood up swiftly, hearing the jocks starting to talk about Deryk. She called goodbye and walked out, seeing Deryk she ran towards him.
    'Don't go in the park, and Mark is hanging around where you live.' She blurted out, looking towards the park worriedly.

    "Good, I still need to have a talk with him about setting his goons on me." Deryk said, walking past Liberty and toward the jocks.

    Caleb knocked on Nikkole's door "Hey, you want to go skateboarding with me and Jacob at the park?" he asked
    "Not really but... I really want to go outside," Nikkole said before grabbing her ipod
    "Will you ever stop listening to that thing," Caleb asked
    "Nope," Nikki said before pushing past him down the stairs. "There's my least favorite brother!" she said looking at Jacob before walking strait out the door.
    "Love you to sis," Jacob said with a sarcastic smile
