Marcus first killed when he was 5. It was a cat, and if not for his mother he would not have known it was bad. Despite his parents best tries Marcus always had jaded moralities. He walks a fine line between evil and good, the ability to be a powerful asset or a crippling traitor. When he was 10 he began practicing his magic, which made a lot of people afraid and wary. Unlike his parents, who tried their best to raise him the right way. Marcus knew he was special, knew his powers would come in handy, and he began exploiting them. Working as an assassin he meddled in mortal politics and plied the dark alleyways,laying mercenary, assassin, body guard, anything that would pay. Marcus knows he's a weapon, something that should be used, bit he always has his own agenda, for Marcus never truly works for anyone except himself. Marcus feels remorse at the things he has done but he locks it away, ignoring his feelings and reveling in the cash and reputation heeanred and continues to do so. Killing is wrong, but it pays and with money comes power. Marcus was born with a shard of darkness, and it continues to glow. He's not entirely bad, he's also done equal amounts of charities and goodwill work, but Marcus is famous for a reason. And when this all ends his tale will be told for eons to come.

She doesn't remember much from her past, but in reality, she is actually a shadow who took the form of her before she died at the hands of a man seeking a young women to "purify", or as she liked to call it, violate. So, she died during her violation, being beaten over and over for the past, what, month or two? Using her as his little play thing. Well, when she finally gave way, he just dragged her out of his home and into the night. She wears anklets made of silver, and a small chain necklace with a ruby pendant. She also has a sword of which she carries constantly, that is silver in color, and has a ruby adorning the pommel. She has knife sheathes on her thighs, and her upper arms. She has many scars, the most noticeable being on her face, reaching from her temple, across her eye, and ending on her nose. The rest of the scars are mainly on her back and forearms, and all are from battle.

Plot thesis:
The Gameplan: THe dragon children set off on a quest throughout the current world to bring back the dragons. IN their way stands a forgotten pantheon of gods who will stop at nothing to stop them.
Previous plot: Wes was kdnapped by two of bergens elites,shortly after writing some papers on research of the gods after the books became unreadable. He gave the books to marcus, anticipating that something bad would happen to him. The elites were taking him to the local magestry manor for interrogation. Right before they reached safety ganloth comes out of nowhere and throws one of the elites in a pit. The other one manages to get Wes onto the magestry grounds, but before she can stand and fight Ganloth Bergen intervenes and after a brief fight Eve appears. During the fight two guardians came and rescued Wes, whisking him and Emma away to a safe haven. They are the two guardians tasked with guarding Wes. Nayru fangirls apparently and watched the fight then finds out that Eve and Ganloth are her parents, who (kidnap?) her and her fate remains unknown. Wes retrieves the paper from Marcus in a hollow, where Marcus voices thoughts about a new potential threat watching them. Wes leaves the area unnerved, while Marcus remains unsure of what the presence was. The plot has presumably ended.

Major Upcoming Plot:
A powerful magic user doesn't want the dragon to come back, so he send three squads each consisting of powerful magic users (alt idea is one a mage, on a combat specialist) that are similar to the dragon souls but aren't dragon souls. Initially they attack each dragon soul individually by isolating them or taking advantage of them splitting up. However since the dragon souls are able to repel them ( or not?) They decide to attack them all at once resulting in a huge skirmish. One of the people that attacked the dragon souls reveals that they were sent by a person. (For extra sadness and feels they can fight to the deaaaaath) This person is eventually confronted wher it is revealed that the dragons wronged his family lng time ago and feels it is his duty to make sure they never return. He is joined by multiple agents (npcs or some controlled by you guys) and they fight. Eventually the man falls in combat and taunts them about knowing (who THEY are, and what their purpose is) before, DYING! Wahahaha ultimate cliff hanger. Anyway the dragon children finally realize they are part of something greater and come to realize how important their wuest is, and they see how their actions will affect the future for generations to come, and everyone leaves the room wiser.

Decided to name first team Delta Squad (or Delta unit) becausei envision the teams as a sort of special operations force. Here's some insight to their infrastructure:
Teamwork: Teamwork is everything and the people in the squad know it. Both members must trust the other with their life, in addition both members must act and think as one, attacking autonomously and in perfect synchronization with each other, with the flexibility to adapt to rifts or attempts at separation. Splitting up is uncommon but does happen as both members are fully capable of fighting on their own on the field, however both fight better together.
Leadership; Both people in the squad are trained in tactics and strategy and are generally capable of coming up with and agreeing to plans. In fighting is rare in this aspect, and decisions are democratic in nature. Orders are given by the instigator on the field and at HQ but the teams are free to deviate form the plan if it is called for or intelligence is not correct. Flexibility is everything.
Communications: All of the team are telepathically linked, and are able to communicate with each other without making sound or giving away their positions, and even in battle. This is also how they receive orders and request advice. However skilled magical users can usually find ways to jam any form of telepathy. This telepathy does not allow the squads to read minds, and cannot be intercepted by other telepathic users. (Except other squad mates)

Looks: Brian appears like a rugged military type of guy, which if course he is. His face appears aged and has a diagonal scar running across the face. At 6ft1 he is avg height, which a muscular build that is also slightly wide. Brian has brown hair and brown eyes, but he wears an eye patch that allows him to see in darkness (both natural and magic) and give him advanced situational awareness. He wears black armor that is a combination of plate and chain mail.
Personality: Brian typically focuses on a mission with a 'lets get this over with' type of attitude. As such he usually doesn't like horse play. He is able to adapt quickly to rapid changes in battle as well. Off duty he's fun to be with, but whether his eyes radiate happiness or death, he will get the mission done.

Looks: Crowley has short shaggy brunette hair with peach fuzz all over his face. He typically has a gaunt face and looks very tired, as if he never gets any sleep. His body is a bit chubby but that doesn't stoop him from being agile. He typically wears the standard uniform that Judges of the court, which is basically a white robe with red ribbon inscriptions on it. He has brown eyes.
Personality: Crowley is that one guy you don't want at a party, he's a typical free loader with no life of his own so he enjoys riding the waves of someone else's life. He can typically be found raiding the pantry or sleeping (even on the job) though despite this lazy ness he is quite good at his job, which is what makes him think he can be so lazy. He is typically slow, slow to anger, and even slower to act. This makes it a surprise should he take up arms. When off duty or not doing s case he typically complains about everything he can find something wrong with, and whines when he has to do paperwork. All in all an accurate description of him would be a class A bum.

Powers: Gun blade: Crowley's sword can fire magical bullets semi automatically. Crowley is able to instinticely aim despite the sword having no sights. All Crowley uses it is for shooting rats or pigeon holing papers he doesn't want to sign.
Fire Magic: Crowley can use fire magic either offensively, or for cooking frozen food. Crowley typically use his powers to deep fry stuff or cook food he's too lazy to throw on a camp fire. However he can use it offensively as well. Some of the things he can do:
Fireballs: self explanatory people.
Flamethrower: self explanatory
Meteor: Crowley jumps up and descends at terminal velocity while bathed in flames. Causes a small explosion.

Despite this she has keen clarity which helps her in her job, which is deciding court cases. Reno can also be petty at times, and not much can hold her back. She tends to disregard rules (Much to Bergen's dismay)but despite this she is usually capable of getting out of any situation she puts herself in. Reno isn't easily provoked, but seems to hold a child like delight in sparring and battling, and has even developed a sense of honor about it. Reno has a strong bond with Marisa and Rosalia, and views them as bigger sisters on a sort of way, and values spending time with them. She can be exceptionally defensive over herself and them as well, willing to go through anything if it means getting them out of an impossible situation.

Powers: Dual Blades: Reno uses duel weapons like Marcus but due to her using a short sword it grants her better flexibility and negates the no defence effect somewhat. Its held back wards and typically used in tandem with the long sword. Reno is all about speed and precision striking, however should her initial attack fail when fighting a much stronger opponent she will be at a tactical disadvantage for the ensuing skirmish. Reno can also engage multiple opponents as well
Electricity: Reno has electric based attacks which can be used to stun or jolt opponents.
Insight: Sometimes in battle Reno can decipher and interpret an enemy's attack before they use it, allowing her to counter it with far greater effectiveness

Judge Brinly (sometimes spelled Brinley)
Age: N/A (Appearance is around 47)
Gender: Male
Looks: Brinly is average height with blond hair that has begun to grey. He has some wrinkles on his f ace and an aged look in his demeanor, which is muscular. He wears black robes with red intricate designs, showing that he is a veteran of the system. In addition he wears black gloves. He has smile wrinkles too.
Personality: Brinly is a cheerful and adventurous person, not afraid to try new things. Whether sparring in the arena or touring the gods other realms he's been and seen a lot. He has spent a long time in the court and knows it like the back of his hand, and he can recite any law or doctrine that has been ever issued. In battle he is a grim person, accepting the fact that sometimes violence is the only way to solve an issue. He is considered a father figure among the imperials, and many in the court look to him for advice. However he's not the atypical wise sage either. Brinly makes mistakes too, and sometimes he certainly doesn't appear like the standard he should be.
powers: duel wielding/shield: Brinly either duel wields or uses a sword and shield depending on the situation, allowing him to quickly adapt to a lot of situations. However there are some situationshat neither can quite work well with him using either one.

Appearance: Marisa generally has a youthful look about her, and has Ruby red eyes that ccompliment her blond hair, which is usually kept neck length. She has an average build and stands around 5ft7. (Like I said im not good at describing females) Outfit wise she generally wears the standard uniform during her duties and when off duty or visiting towns in the mortal realm she wears a tunic and breeches.
Personality: Marisa tends to be overly cautious when she is unsure of a situation, though is adept at hiding it from potential enemies. When in company of Reno she tends to watch her like a hawk t make she doesn't give away anything important regarding a mission. Marisa is tenacious and cunning, a particular reason why she is so good at her job. When people say 'no' she can find a variety of ways to get a direct answer from them, some not so nice. Marisa avoids direct ccombat or battle, oreferring short skirmishes in an area slected by her that gives her an advantage. (Rosalia and other enforcers do the main fighting). In a massive battle or a extended battle Marisa will most likely flee.
Power: Anti-Magic. Marisa is an inquisitor, so it is her job t hunt suspects down (where rosalia takes over) and then interrogate them. As most if not all of her targets are powerful magic users it is vital she is able to negate them. However she can only permanently bind one target at a time and depending inn her will power and the targets strength can 'lockdown' their magical abilities, preventing them from using them for a certain time. Marisa also acts as a natural jammer which tends to block and counter telepathic messages as well (though it does not affect imperials such as the judges or guards). She can also sense magic in a way and this is usually how she tracks targets, but magical energy can be hidden and when in that case she uses actual tracking techniques. When the target is unable to use magic but still willing to fight Marisa uses her trusty dagger and buckler. Marisa is unable to use magical abilities if her own and acts as a support character
Weapons: Marisa uses a dagger and buckler, allowing her t strike fast and block most enemy attacks. However the dagger doesn't grant her very much power and heavy armor (and some medium armor) can block it.

Name: Wiemer
Gender: Male
Looks: Wiemer has brown hair and hazel eyes. His hair is usually ut short and styled. He stands at around 5ft9 and has a stocky type of build. He wears full plate armor with a visor helmet in court, and in battle. His halbard has a black shaft and a the three pointed head is of an unusual purple.
ersonalty: Wiemer tends to be the silent sulking type of guy. This is usually.lay in part he has nothing to say most of the time and the fact it adds to his intimidation. Wiemer isn't exactly a social guy, nit because he dislikes it but because he's inexperienced. He tends to be awkward in direct conversation and isn't really good at maintaining one either.
Powers: Earth Magic: Wiemer and other imperial guards can manipulate earth using magic
Imperial engineers also share this trait, due to its usefulness in construction.
Weapons: Wiemer uses a halbard with a blackened staff that is actually from a tree that is exclusive to the immortal realms, allowing it to channel magical energy. It's head is also made from manyullum, a rare metal that has wiring properties, allowing it to be easily enchanted and manipulated magically. The metal is also purple. Wiemers halbard is not only unusually sharp but also has the ability to slice through earth as if it was butter, his dagger (which is used as an auxiliary weapon) also shares this trait. These are generally used to allow him to tunnel or gain strategic advantages in tandem with his magic.

Looks: Rosalia has blue eyes with wavy red hair usually cut short. She stands at average height which is around 5f8. She has an average body build thatis shapely but muscular as well. Her casual wear includes tunics and breeches, and armor is light plate armor with chainmail meshing.
Personality: Rosalia is a gruff, blunt person. All she usually cares about is getting the job done, but she can also be pensive and kind. She has an unusual relationship with Marisa and Reno. (WIP)
