[fancypost bgcolor=; borderwidth=0px; width: 390px;][justify][font=arial]Oh, he had learned such wonderful things! He knew that it was a bad thing, talking to a stranger. But this stranger was so kind and knowledgeable, and she taught him about the most amazing thing he had ever heard about. At least Shuffledcub had a newfound respect for the medics around here. What they did was truly amazing.
Ah, yes, the medics. The stranger he had met must've been one, either currently or in the past. She took him under her wing and introduced him to the marvelous world of healing. He never knew about these 'herbs' before, but now he did. And he could not get the lesson to stop repeating in his head.
Cobwebs are a sticky, web-like substance used to stop the bleeding of any wound. Marigold are plants that are found near water sources and can prevent infection. There are other substitutes for marigold such as horsetail and a few others. Dock helps to soothe scratches. Poppy seeds can soothe shock but can make you sleepy. Thyme helps with anxiety and nervousness.
That was pretty much all he had been taught, but he got demonstrations along with all of it. And now, Shuffledcub was officially herb-obsessed.
While on his way home the snow leopard had gathered up a large selection of the herbs so that he could continue to study them during his leisure time. He had an entire basket full of the ones that he had learned about, plus a few additional plants that he hadn't been taught about. He wanted to work on figuring out what they did on his own. Maybe he could do tests on rats or something?
The male gave a single nod of approval to himself, deciding that was a fine idea. He began walking back to camp, struggling to pull the large basket along with him. Hopefully nobody would find it odd that he was taking a bunch of herbs back for his own selfish reasons.
